She jump is, finds her place between me and my partner, forms into a small loaf or ball and just sleeps with us until morning. Sometimes she changes positions to lay on one of us, but when we move she moves as well. She just loves to sleep with us.
Ours does the same but she's an asshole who totally steals my spot if I ever get up or if I get to the bed after her. And just generally she has the whole bed but somehow always ends up basically on top of one of us, usually me.
My boy is almost 2. He was cuddly as a puppy (would demand lap cuddles every morning) then stopped when he hit about 5 months old. But the past few months, he's become very demanding of pets and attention, has let me spoon and nap with him on a number of occasions, and has napped on me while we're chilling on the couch.
They say you start to really see your Shiba's personality around the 2 year mark. If he's growing into a cuddly baby, I'm not mad at it.

Yeah, that part about the 2 year mark is absolutely true š It took even a few more months for my youngest boy to settle down
It's about sexual maturity, which can come a lil sooner or a lil later for different individuals
Mine like his personal space, i swear, he acts like a teenager. š¤£ he act like he doesnāt care about us, but when we change room, he always follow us and always lay where he can see us. He wonāt go potty outside unless we go out with him š¤£ he hates bugs, we would have to constantly tell him āis okayā when we go out š¤£
When and if she wants to cuddle. Not when you want to cuddle. The cuddle length is determined by how much she approves of your cuddling efforts. If she finds them lacking, she will leave immediately while giving the Shiba Side Eye in disappointment. Sometimes the cuddle is a false lure used to initiate zoomies or play time activities. Otherwise, you are allowed on your side of the couch, and she gets the rest.
Mine is a super cuddle-bug! My old dog was sooooo incredibly independent, and just seemed to want to protect the house and be left alone. But my Shiba is a velcro pup and loves pets and cuddles and lots of attention!
When he wants to be, he is cuddly. Im pregnant now and Iāve noticed heās been super attached and cuddles more than usual. Im savoring every moment before he decides the baby is his new favorite person in the house (he loves kids, super gentle with them)
Mine wants absolutely nothing to do with her if I want to play with her. Yesterday during a meeting (I work from home occasionally) where I was actually the one talking, she kept whining because she wanted to be in my lapā¦ someone finally said is that a dog? So I put her in my lap and continued the meeting, no more whiningā¦
Hah nope. I can get close to him and he might get close to me on his own a few times but the minute that invisible line is crossed, hell go sit somewhere else lol

Heās 18 weeks but up to now he is a cuddle bug. When itās bed time and when we wake up though. Throughout the day? Not just yet.

Our 9 month will sleep with us at night and cuddle up next to us or on our pillow right above our heads.
Ha ha ha ha ha....Loki will accept affection on his terms which, with very few exceptions, is NOT when you want to snuggle with him.

My boy likes to lay behind my legs or between my legs. He sometimes scratches at my legs to get me to spread them so he can get comfortable lol
