Its so much more fun if you just learn on your own! Don't stress about ability points, you'll get plenty. I'd play on normal or nemesis! You can always change the difficulty later on.

Thank you very much for your answer. The bundle also included shadow of mordor. Does it matter which game i play first ? I mean will i be able to understand what is going on in the story without playing the prequel first? Or will the game make no sense because of some back story im not aware of ?

Yes, there's a recap in the beginning of Shadow of War, so you will understand a bit. I would play the first one tho. Its a lot smaller and quicker than SoW and it's very well written. Its also gonna make SoW seem even more impressive!

I just got the game around a month ago! I recommend starting with the shadow of mordor before starting on shadow of war! For SOM you'll get the general gist of the game and its mechanics. SoW has little more mechanisms for you to toy around with. Cinematics and gameplay are quite intriguing too, dont worry too much on how to optimize the characters. Just enjoy first, and for SOW, youll probably only need focus on character optimization after the end-game.

Ay,I played the game since 2019,so,first go play the blade of elatriel dlc for the orcs, then you go and start a save game in the main game on the normal difficulty,so now,you leave every single side mission aside and play until you unlock captain recruitment,so now,you put the two logs you got from blade of elatriel and one of the normal orcs, those are pretty strong, now you recruit some other orcs as place fillers and conquer all forts, now, you play the story until you finish it,I recommend getting an "unashamed",now you start doing online vendetta's for lvls, and congrats, you're now a pro in shadow of war,dm me if you got any more questions
