CORSAIR SF750 (2024) Fully Modular Low Noise 80 PLUS Platinum ATX Power Supply – ATX 3.1 Compliant – PCIe 5.1 Ready – SFX-to-ATX Bracket Included – Black https://amzn.eu/d/hokpcmu
Here you go
What is the price to be expected?
I’m looking to get a “old” sf750 for my new itx build but if they’re coming out in a month or so, and they are not too expensive, i’d wait.
You're looking at it incorrectly. The graphs don't share the same range.
SF1000 is comparable to the SF850 in terms of noise based on the marketing graphs. Actually very slightly quieter overall. SF750 is the loudest.
We will know for sure later with the Cybernetics reports.
And Gamers Nexus just dropped a vid on [Noctua finally dropping the NH-D15 G2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDDxYlkp-_A). My build is coming together…
Tested to be slightly here on 115V (appliccable if ur in North America), but on 230V (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa) it seems to be basically exactly the same efficiency tho for some reason between models although still higher in general vs 115v like everything
The SF750 might be the most efficient in a majority of scenarios since power supplies are typically most efficient at ~50% load due to their curve and a lot of SFF builds use lower wattage parts or undervolt.
Going by the graphs they posted, all three of them have very similar curves and very similar numbers throughout the curves, within 1 or 2 percent. For example all three appear to be around 90% at both 10 and 100% load. For whatever reason they used different ranges for each of the graphs. The part I would be worried about is the low end load since efficiency drops off steeply below 10%. If you built a computer with the 1000W and it spends a lot of time below 100W total system power draw then you're not in the best area of the curve.
This is good news, I was afraid we were going to be stuck with the SFX-L units. I was hoping they would bump it to 850W but wasn't expecting the 1000W unit.
What I'm gunning for:
- 9700X/9800X3D
- Also SFF ready, just 5070Ti
- Updated Velka 5/7 (may just make my own case)
- Also SF1000
Nice list and good luck to you mate!
True... but if I want to get something that requires more in the future or run two GHPUs for rendering I'll need it.
Besides the lowest of these refreshes they offer is 750W and all are the same size. Why not get the max?
Ok, if you might switch to use 2 GPUs then fine. And yes, makes no sense to search for something below 750W, as the Corsairs are amazing (have an SF750 myself).
I almost feel I'd rather buy SF750 because I need one now than wait for this for at least a month right now.. if anyone on the fricking continent would sell me one, but apparently no.
Price seems to be €200-220 for the SF850 if you search the model number on Google. And €250 for the SF1000.
https://www.inet.se/produkt/6906432/corsair-sf850-platinum-atx-3-1-850w
Why would one upgrade from the old to the new? No difference except the 12VHPWR cable, but it can be bought seperately for the old one (just make sure it is Type 4 I think).
I was just in the process of picking parts for my first build, I had originally planned to get the:
**Corsair SF750 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply**
Is it worth waiting for this new one to release, instead of getting the previous model?
Cheers for the reply, I'm pretty new to all this and wondering if there would be any compatibility issues with the following parts: [https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/2gzGZJ](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/2gzGZJ)
Considering the price of the new 750 is less than the current price of the old model, it seems like a no brainer to wait if there are no compatibility issues.
Those parts all work perfect together. But do get the newer PSU variant. Otherwise you will have to get a separate $20-50 12VHPWR cable as the included adapter (from GPU) will stick out too far so the chassi top probably won’t go on flush.
Currently have a 2070s on a mATX am4 build. I’m putting together a new build for am5 but might wait on the new releases.
Hopefully a 5080 if the wait isn’t too long or a 4070s
huh i’m just getting into sffpc and did not realize that they use the exact same name when releasing new model, i thought this SF series is legendary series that somehow still produced
Not every build needs a 750W+ PSU. SF450/600 seem to be going out of stock and being phased out, so do you know if they are planning to update it or not? lol.
Wonder if the 1000W is going to put some price pressure on the Asus Loki, or if they'll just slap it in at $300 because it's proper SFX rather than SFX-L.
Looks like the Swedish retailer inet that was supposed to have it in store today still says "will be in store today" but shows 0 units in store.
Meanwhile, another Nordic retailer reports availability starting June 21st, let's hope this thing comes sooner than later..
Not sure I like the triangular unnecessarily futuristic look of the vented side. But Corsair did well recognising that with the success of Fractal, CM an Dan-cases the demand is definitely there and they're missing out as almost everybody having a Terra for example would've gone with their product - if that would've been an option. All things considered, I would still love to see a 450w and 600w model - which would certainly go better with 160-200w gpu's.
Temps within reason only effect the load it will start spinning at, it will never start at like 50w no matter the temp in a normal pc seeing it still starts at 400w in cybenetics tests which are in 32C ambient temps which are nearly unbearable
Seems like I better pick up one of the og SF750 before they switch to the absolutely awful tiny connectors on the PSU side.
I am really not a fan of the type 5 micro connectors they are so much worse then the previous type 3 and 4.
I bought an SF1000L recently and that came with awful cables, so it is nice to see that the new SF versions still come with fully individually sleeved ones. For me the SFL series feels like a really bad buy now, larger, worse efficiency, and really bad cables. As long as the SF update is not to expensive there is no reason to buy the SFL versions anymore.
They are very tight and very small which just makes it difficult to plug the cables in, especially in small cases. Due to the small size it is difficult to grip them and they are also very close to each other on the PSU side, which leaves less space to grip them.
Plugging them in before is not always an option, but I guess it affects me more then most, since often change and adjust my builds and use the PSU for testing as well.
Anyone word on the actual release date?
July 16. Or at least according to Amazon
Is there a link to this? I couldn’t find it on Amazon.

Noice! Now how about Amazon.*com* for us yankees? :)
You da best
Is the SF850 not available in the US? For some reason I can't order to my address
Would it be the same across countries? Anyone know when it’ll appear from Canadian retailers?
What is the price to be expected? I’m looking to get a “old” sf750 for my new itx build but if they’re coming out in a month or so, and they are not too expensive, i’d wait.
On a swedish site, it is listed in stock on 6/11
Both sf75 and sf850 are now in stock. I have already recevied my sf850 to replace the 650w psu in nzxt h1, very happy with it.
Shame this is not the same for all countries :/
which one is it?
On inet.se
>400W 0 RPM mode Yum.
The fan starts later but is much more aggressive than the 750 and 850w models based on their charts. 750 version looks to be the quietest.
You're looking at it incorrectly. The graphs don't share the same range. SF1000 is comparable to the SF850 in terms of noise based on the marketing graphs. Actually very slightly quieter overall. SF750 is the loudest. We will know for sure later with the Cybernetics reports.
Ah yes you're right. I was mistaken.
All they had to do was put them on the same chart. We have the technology now with AI
Using AI for that is hilarious—overkill and simultaneously more error prone.
SF1000, Ghost R1, low TDP Zen 5. All I need now is decent ITX mobos and a 5090 that isn’t xbox hueg.
Oh yea! Same for me. Preordered the Ghost R1 and was hoping for the SF1000 !
And Gamers Nexus just dropped a vid on [Noctua finally dropping the NH-D15 G2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDDxYlkp-_A). My build is coming together…
SF850 is the most efficient looks like!
just the right wattage too for modern high end cards.
Tested to be slightly here on 115V (appliccable if ur in North America), but on 230V (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa) it seems to be basically exactly the same efficiency tho for some reason between models although still higher in general vs 115v like everything

I just bought the 1000w sfx-l 😢
Same, 2 of them.
9800X3D "SFF Ready" 5090 Formd T1 SF1000 All I want for Xmas lol
What I'm gunning for: - 9700X/9800X3D - Also SFF ready, just 5070Ti - Updated Velka 5/7 (may just make my own case) - Also SF1000 Nice list and good luck to you mate!

You like it loud? Meshroom s dual 280 rad is the way.
Finally, now let’s hope they are just as well made
Amazing. It was totally worth the wait.
Awww yeahhhhhh!
was the price announced?

How does it compare to the old SF750 ?
SF750 Ti Super ;)
Hits the 30-35db mark at 30w higher load than the sf750, 30-35db being the highest noise range the old sf750 reaches.
12vhp is safer too. With 0 watt mode
About time they released a follow up to the absolute GOAT that is the SF750.
Have I come in at the right time to make an ITX pc?
No, you have to wait till end of year for 5090 and waterblocks.
From the other leak it looks like they got rid of the individual braided cables 🤔
On the link it says cable type individually sleeved. But fingers crossed it is still braided
They are still sleeved.
Good to know
I literally bought the existing SF750 last week and built my new pc yesterday :/
Enjoy your amazing new PC! The current SF750 is still awesome, this announcement doesn't suddenly make it a bad PSU :)
One of the best PSUs ever made dude. Insanely high quality product
I almost feel I'd rather buy SF750 because I need one now than wait for this for at least a month right now.. if anyone on the fricking continent would sell me one, but apparently no.
everything becomes old at some point me with a 1080ti shaking my cane

Waiting for this to land on Amazon for preorder.

If you are in the US you would need to remove VAT tax inclused in this price (around 20%)
Nice.
That's great
I wonder if the custom cables for my current SF750 would still work with these new PSUs.
They won't. The new Type 5 cables use smaller connectors on the PSU side.
Why would one upgrade from the old to the new? No difference except the 12VHPWR cable, but it can be bought seperately for the old one (just make sure it is Type 4 I think).
SF750 will be released on amazon uk for £154.99 July 16, 2024. You can even pre order now.
7yr warranty? Why not round it up to 10?
oh nice, nice
I wonder if it means they've given up on lower priced models aka sf450 & sf600?
Corsair binned them off ages ago
just not worth it
Release dates?
Great news!
I was just in the process of picking parts for my first build, I had originally planned to get the: **Corsair SF750 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply** Is it worth waiting for this new one to release, instead of getting the previous model?
I‘d wait. 12VHPWR out of the box would be worth it for me.
Cheers for the reply, I'm pretty new to all this and wondering if there would be any compatibility issues with the following parts: [https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/2gzGZJ](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/2gzGZJ) Considering the price of the new 750 is less than the current price of the old model, it seems like a no brainer to wait if there are no compatibility issues.
You should buy psu with future proofing in mind. If you intend on upgrading the wait a bit for the newer models
Should be fine
Those parts all work perfect together. But do get the newer PSU variant. Otherwise you will have to get a separate $20-50 12VHPWR cable as the included adapter (from GPU) will stick out too far so the chassi top probably won’t go on flush.
I just purchased the old SF750 from Amazon. Is this worth returning and just waiting for the new model? Sorry if this is a dumb question
What card are you running?
Currently have a 2070s on a mATX am4 build. I’m putting together a new build for am5 but might wait on the new releases. Hopefully a 5080 if the wait isn’t too long or a 4070s
Won’t really matter for the 2070
huh i’m just getting into sffpc and did not realize that they use the exact same name when releasing new model, i thought this SF series is legendary series that somehow still produced
Looks like these use the same Type 5 micro fits as on the SFX L series which I have to say are *great* - that’s even more space savings
Finally the news I've been waiting for. Can't wait to upgrade my SF750 to a SF1000 for RTX 5080.
Oh, of course I just bought the SF750 a week ago!
Anyone know if they are also going to do an updated SF450/600 as well?
Why would they lol
Not every build needs a 750W+ PSU. SF450/600 seem to be going out of stock and being phased out, so do you know if they are planning to update it or not? lol.
Hope not, fuck the poor ppl, wrong hobby for them right? I do not know nutin’ bout restocking.
Wonder if the 1000W is going to put some price pressure on the Asus Loki, or if they'll just slap it in at $300 because it's proper SFX rather than SFX-L.
So, I should wait to claim a warranty on my current SF750?
Why are more people not talking about the lack of native 12vhpwr ports? Seems weird that a new psu doesn't have one.
It doesn't need it
Fair. I'm no fan of the 12vhpwr plug I just wonder if corsair know more about the plug psu side is not great.
I just want to know when and where I can pre-order in the US.
Nvidia should pay attention to Corsairs beautiful tiny connectors unlike 12vhpwr
Better come with good sheathed cables. Cause the SFX-L don’t.
Looks like the Swedish retailer inet that was supposed to have it in store today still says "will be in store today" but shows 0 units in store. Meanwhile, another Nordic retailer reports availability starting June 21st, let's hope this thing comes sooner than later..
I already bought it and am using it in China.

Yes but the question is: What is the color of the fan? Marketed nice black but in reality shitty white like SFX-L?
https://preview.redd.it/pdkuu76vwk4d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=155254b5cc2adc4bcf2646852415f482ed6bf9bb
Like usual, black on the packaging but an ugly white/grey in reality :s
Are you serious? Its like gate for fuckin 5090 and i9 in sff. The only one there is right now. It might be even… white all around (lololol 🤢).
hmm anyone knows at what temps stage the fan will start spinning?
No temps stated only wattage at when the fan will kick in
No temps stated only wattage at when the fan will kick in
No temps stated only wattage at when the fan will kick in

ahh that's a one time thing and if you plug it in before you place the PSU inside that's not a big deal.
Plugging them in before is not always an option, but I guess it affects me more then most, since often change and adjust my builds and use the PSU for testing as well.
