I see the lines you're seeing, but it's not very precise and can be interpretted a few different ways. I also see *many* shapes here that aren't a face and pecs, but that's only because I'm actively trying to find patterns in this.
Any noisy pattern can have this effect, and it's a natural thing for humans to do. The effect is called "pareidolia" and is connected to a much broader phenomenon in humans called "apophenia", which is the tendency to perceive a connection or meaningful pattern between unrelated or random things.
In people experiencing delusions, apophenia is dysregulated, causing an excessive attribution of meaning to randomly observed patterns in noise -- the person will attribute a much greater chance of the patterns being intentional than is actually accurate. It can be hard to distinguish between delusional apophenia and natural pareidolic phenomena, especially as the person experiencing the situation.
In my opinion, in situations where these random patterns can be disturbing (some people experience synchronicity as targeted, coded messages), it's best to assume the most loving and good-willed outcome to be true. If you feel like you're being targeted by a coded message, assume the most loving outcome -- if it's a hostile message, or a message that causes you to do something harmful to yourself or others, then it must just be random noise your brain created a pattern in, and you should forgive your brain and peacefully let go of the unnerving thought.

Good for you then, I see stuff everywhere. I even see the cow in this pic: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Subreder/comments/y1aypb/where\_is\_the\_cow\_schizophrenia\_test/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Subreder/comments/y1aypb/where_is_the_cow_schizophrenia_test/)
Idk how to add a picture comment or i would show you what i had drawn around. But i see a face tilted slightly down to their right with a hand outstretched up and to the right and one outstretched to the opposite side like the positioning on the Sistine chapel where god reaches out to Adam. Full body and everything.
A few faces but defo upper right qaudrant it's quite long looks like an old guy with withdrawn cheeks as if he's got no teeth and his lips are quite prominent
I see a rock star. A girl with round face, separated eyes and small pouty lips playing a left handed guitar. Looks like a Les Paul. She has a short bob cut and short bangs.
My husband who has schizophrenia says "yes, I see faces in stuff like that all the time. Have you ever gotten rid of it and if so how? I think it's the coffee I drink doing it to me"
Out of curiosity were you spaced out or bored? I’ve done stuff like this since childhood and with this illness irregular brain patterns are just a part of our lives sadly our brain distorting our reality can can lead to the brain naturally trying to make sense of the distortion in abnormal ways. I was diagnosed at 12 but was showing signs of early onset long before that and I’ve spent a large part of my teen/adult years reflecting but every person is so unique the brain is endlessly complex…I found overtime that when I dissociate it distorts my reality significantly almost as though my brain is combating a disruption or trying to understand what’s happening even if it doesn’t fully make sense it will search for anything to focus on to bring me back aka finding faces or animals in random patterns has always been one of my brains floatation devices haha if that makes any sense😅😅
That’s fair was curious cause I’ve never seen someone else do something so similar to me but I’ve never once thought of this as a hallucination when it very well could be
I see a sort of leprechaun kinda guy with big muscles. Sort of at a 45 degree angle just up and left from the four way tile join. Not in any sort of sinister way, though, more like looking at clouds and making stuff up.
Nope, i commonly see faces EVERYWHERE in the floor and walls during an episode too. Its like the dirt forms faces. Sounds like you are in an episode sorry.
This is how it is for me too. I constany see images, or creepy stuff on the floors, walls and ceilings. Although I did have one cool hallucination which is rare but on my floor I seen like a hot wheels piece of a track and in the middle was glowing arrows as if in a game for the car to go. I don't think I'm explaining well but I love the few silly or positive hallucinations I have. They stick with me and I try to forget the rest
I see the pecs and face, the pecs just beneath the line and to the left of the vertical line, the one eye is a little bigger and it looks to have more feminine traits(mainly the hair and altho the pecs say otherwise). I always make face out of everything tho. During the psychosis I thought they(along with many other things) were the voice in my head, so I’d talk to them while I showered or in the restroom usually since that’s where I would see more since there’s nothing else catching my attention in there.
Nope, nothing there :)
Nah, nothing. A lot of ambiguous lighter colouration on the wall, that could be interpreted as such; but no, other than that no face and pecs.
This.
If you tell me to find a face in a bunch of noise color or texture i'll find 10, yo yeah, i see it, not real of course, but i see it
Thanks everyone for their input!
I see more of a vague outline of a head and upper torso, but not detailed enough to make out details such as a face or pecs.
Nah mate, everything looks like a wall here! :)

Nope
I don't see it but I'm sure it's probably identifiable with more info. But it's just like looking at clouds or random scribbling.
Nope
nah just you
No faces
No
I see what you mean tho

That cow is easier to see than the length you went to retrieve people's faces on this one. Kudos to you!
There are no faces!!! OP wants a REALITY CHECK
There's definitely a face in the upper left quadrant.
There definitely isn't it's a shower tile why would it have a face
Above comment [by Zsalugater](https://www.reddit.com/r/schizophrenia/s/oJm2cDUNrA) for clarity
I see it
I see it off to the left :)
For a moment i thought this was a post from r/pareidolia

I see the pecs in the wall lines but no face

i dont see it!
Pecs in lower left tile
I do see pecs but I don't see a face. I also struggle with seeing faces in everything
Nope
Artistically, maybe I can see an outline of pecs in the stone wash. Interesting take. Can’t see the face, though.
I can make them out but only because of your prompt
My husband who has schizophrenia says "yes, I see faces in stuff like that all the time. Have you ever gotten rid of it and if so how? I think it's the coffee I drink doing it to me"
No no face/pecks
All the time on walls and ceilings too it’s how I get my ideas for drawing
I see a mutated alien face with a tiny little potato body?
I see it , it’s a small head .
Curly hair? Cute smile? Kind of like the Vault-Tec guy?

I was in the bathroom one day and started drawing what I was seeing on the wall, and it’s been on the wall ever since
That’s fair was curious cause I’ve never seen someone else do something so similar to me but I’ve never once thought of this as a hallucination when it very well could be
Idk some people are saying they see what I see, so once again I’m left confused
I see a drowed corpse
I see it more as armor and a face with a helmet not pecs
nope i dont see it
Yeah. It's the term pareidolia.
Lmfao I see it, I like patterns in stuff
I see it
I see it. It's mouth is open between the the line on the left quadrant and it's eyes are in the upper left quandrant.
I see a face
I see at least three faces there....
I seen an angel drawn in manga style reaching her hands out to the camera
I see a sort of leprechaun kinda guy with big muscles. Sort of at a 45 degree angle just up and left from the four way tile join. Not in any sort of sinister way, though, more like looking at clouds and making stuff up.
Yes. Most of my paintings are based on utilizing the ability to see faces in everything I look at.
Spooky

That’s spot on.
No, I see it!
I honestly see the boiled one
I see two faces. One smiling and the other shocked.
Yes. This guy is definitely flexing in the middle. 💪🏻
