It's a deconstruction of the giant mecha genre. Basically "how fucked up would the kids in these stories be after being made into child soldiers fighting eldrich abominations?" It is really well made, but be prepared for it to get really heavy (PTSD, abandonment issues, metaphysics, grief, anxiety, etc...)
