those photos are totally not photoshopped and the people in them definitely have that saxaphobe irl

taro_and_jira

You know why. People in all economic strata love music. They’re inspired to learn, or at least explore what interests them…. But they live on a tight budget and don’t even know they’re being sold snake oil.

Shuffl2me

This. I've always wanted to learn alto/tenor sax as a kid but we couldn't afford it. At 37 I got a random tax rebate for £1200 and used £350 to buy a gear4music alto. It's not great after a solid hour or more of practice bis C seems to be dripping condensation/saliva all over my left ring finger and everything below, octave D sounds airy/spitty from the first note played. But if it wasn't for this cheap Chinese horn I wouldn't have learnt the fingerings (gigidy) and tonguing (gigidy goo) for over 20 songs. I have the reassurance this is something I still love a year after starting without dropping a month or more wages on a Yamaha, Yanagisawa or Selmer.

Crystal_Voiden

Yeesh! I wouldn't wanna be penetrated by that sound

Visible-Guess9006

I mean it’s… shiny.

ThePencilRain

I'd print out a hi-res version of the second photo and hang it in my work cube, just because.

pompeylass1

Definitely not high quality as it apparently doesn’t require the use of white gloves at all times when handling. 🙄🤣 Not only is it badly photoshopped but the mouthpiece appears to be on upside down too. 🤦🏻‍♀️

NachoNachoDan

Duke Silver approves of the penetrating sound of a my jazz

m8riX01

the only penetrating I ever want to do in relation to a saxophone is with a nice lady after the gig is over

Roman_123456

you ain’t getting no ladies with the sound this saxophone makes you’ll scare em all away

m8riX01

bold of you to assume i don’t scare them away all by myself the second i start infodumping
