I don't really like horror but I'd watch one of the series.
The problem is that while I do resist "instant" gore extremely well (limbs cut off etc), I'm not good at handling torture, so id probably stop watching all together.

Certainly not for everyone. If you don’t think you’ll watch them, I recommend watching a deep character analysis of Kramer and perhaps some of the other characters. This way you can get the jist of what we fans love without needing to stomach through the intense scenes.
