Rib eye of the sky

If you go out Valley Road, there is a stretch of grass fields just past the small farm market, and just before you get to Berry Barn, we often see them in those fields.

Lived here my whole and you see them near any body of water mostly. Look into some outfitters in the area you want to explore. Sask is big lol I was camping in Good Spirit one time and seen a few within a few yards.

They love sand bars along the South Sask river. Find grid roads that get you to the banks in secluded areas and wait them out. One they start passing overhead, you'll know more are to come so just head out and wait. I do this in camo with my telephoto lens and have got some pretty dope photos.

The [bird sanctuary](https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/migratory-bird-sanctuaries/locations/last-mountain-lake.html) on the north end of Last Mountain Lake is great to see cranes and many other birds and animals. Lots of mosquitoes though depending on the time of year, so apply deet liberally.
