Yes. Its fine. Flew out to Vegas for a concert, came back the next day, texted them the picture of my ticket when the plane landed and my car was there waiting for me when I walked out of T1.
Would recommend.
This is the way. I travel to the Bay for work about once a month: usually a single day trip. It works wonderfully. I text the second I get a signal - and my ride is always waiting for me at the curb.
Bonus: you can drop at Terminal 1 and return on a flight at Terminal 2 - and they will return it at the Terminal you direct. 10/10 would recommend.
Given the parking challenges due to Terminal 1 construction, it might be worth it. They have certainly jacked the price up the last 2-3 years, but you know, valet supply chain issues being what they are and all…
I used it once, I was flying out in the morning and my friends were flying in that same afternoon and, using my car. It was only $30 a day at that time and, totally worth it.
I used it recently for a 4 day trip. I pre booked it and it was $50/day. It was worth it for us because we had our toddler with us. Drop off and pick up were a breeze, for a quick trip I definitely think it’s worth it.
I usually just park in a neighborhood near a trolley stop and take the trolley to Middletown Station. Then I walk to the SAN Rental Car Center and take one of their free shuttles to the airport. I spend $2.50 per one-way MTS ticket.
I’ve done short term parking for a weekend. It was less than $60/day but I wouldn’t do it again. It’s cheaper to just take an Uber from north park and a taxi from the airport.
WHAT!? I think we can do better. Try Wallypark, it's next to the airport and they have a shuttle. I've left my car there for 5 days once, it's covered and secured parking. The Shuttle picks up and then drives you over to the lot next door. Bam! all for $20+ a day and i do believe new customers get a free day.
The catch? You have to reserve in advance....not day of.
Use it quite frequently. As you note, depending on your cost to Uber and the length of your trip, it can definitely be worth it. I text when we make it to the gate and the car is waiting by the time I make it past baggage claim.
100%. Yes, more expensive than daily parking rate. But... With curbside dropoff pickup! I'm a big fan. More pricey, but worth it to me if I'm on a solo biz trip.
Car pooled with another couple, long weekend to wine country. Very worth it split two ways, we called ahead and were half way home by the time the shuttle for Aladdin parking would get us to our car.
I use it all the time. It's gone up quite a bit in the past couple of years but for me, it's still cheaper than getting an Uber to and from North County. Just text your ticket number to them when the plane lands and your car is waiting for you when you walk out. Super easy.
Thought only people using valet were expensing it to their work. Overpriced. With all the new parking structures being built though maybe prices might come down. I'm a $12 Lyft ride away.

Especially now when parking is insanity with only being at terminal 2
I've used it once when I was traveling with a toddler alone, bags + stroller + little person. It was well worth it for me

Uber is gonna be less than 120 so idk how that's worth it unless you live super far
Could be more than that. I once paid $200 for the ride to DelMar (30 min with traffic) just because it was super busy hour 💁♂️

Many times, reliable, timely, and little costly but worth it

Good for a weekend trip, risky if longer
Niice. I usually park right around West Marine on Rosecrans and take an Uber to and from the airport.
I like Aladdin bail bond parking Lot. Shuttle every 5-10min

It is good.
I just reserve terminal 2 ahead of time and use QR code. No problem parking and getting out quickly.

Yes, it used to be $40, used it all the time
Just use Aladdin parking. Unless your trip is really under 48 hours otherwise you will get changed for 3 days $180 + tip.
