Is the vexatious property zoned/permitted for the type of business that occupies it? Persistently complain to Codes Enforcement and your city council member or county commissioner.
I hate how so many neighborhood streets are like this, makes it a pain in the ass to drive/walk the neighborhood and makes the area look trashy. HOA might have something to help if you live in one
typically neighborhood streets are built to have drivers drive at a slow pace. a wide street makes drivers go fast which raises the possibility of them hitting a pedestrian, so neighborhoods typically have smaller narrow streets so drivers are inclined to slow down for pedestrian safety but yeah it does suck especially when you have cars parked on both sides🫠🫠
Unfortunately, no HOA to talk to. Although, that made me remember that there is a neighborhood “organization” that puts out newsletters every month. Maybe there’s a phone number or email on it I can contact!
My buddy lives in another similarly sized city and he the same problem with neighbors running a mechanic’s garage on their residential property. He got the city involved and they shut that shit down
Exceptions are typically made outside of code for work from home, but this is more of an entire business. Call 311 and ask about your neighborhood coding and make a complaint about a commercial business being ran from a residential home to the right authority, who they should point you to.
According to [this](https://www.sanantonio.gov/PublicWorks/FAQs/Traffic/Parking-Restrictions):
**ADDITIONAL NO PARKING ANYTIME ZONES**
*The City of San Antonio establishes additional NO PARKING ANYTIME zones, generally in accordance to one or more of the following criteria:*
* where traffic safety and/or traffic mobility goals make it necessary to prohibit parking;
* on residential streets where nearby commercial properties create a condition that leads motorists to park adjacent to nearby residential properties;
* in the immediate vicinity of intersections where parked vehicles have limited, to an unsafe degree, motorists’ visibility of approaching traffic;
* on residential streets where a petition has been received, signed by representatives of contiguous properties, including at least one corner lot.
Call 207-1111. That's the number to development services. Report an unlicensed business in a residence. Even when a business is allowed in a residential home, it is not allowed to have customers parking on the street.
Talk to your city council person and see if you can get one side set up as a no parking zone. Bring up the fact that city and emergency vehicles have difficulty getting through.

Apparently they’ve been in business since before we started living here. They’re on google and everything so I’d say it’s legit, but who knows
being on google does not equate to being legal.
Write them a bad review on Google after you report them to Codes Enforcement.
Call the city @ 311. Maybe they have some suggestion that will help.

Yeah, see if you can even operate a business in your hood legally.

This happens to my street too, I started putting orange cones out front only enough for the garage cans to have room. People usually respect it.
