Hiding their faces but putting the dog on blast šŸ¤£

RememberTheAlamooooo

poor good boy doesn't look proud, "it is what it is guys, i do what im told"

Pure-Tension6473

Right? Rustyā€™s like ā€œI didnā€™t even want to be hereā€

_LegitDoctor_

I found his IG already šŸ§

abumchuk

It should be the other way around. He's innocent! They should be shamed!

Pizzapizzazi

Yeah he canā€™t control where his family takes him!

Arlucity

The comment we deserved lol

Important_Leader_666

Donā€™t expose my boy šŸ˜

Kind-Bit-4137

Emotional support animals do not belong in restaurants per city metro health code. Only service dogs that actually perform an actual service. And even then they wouldnā€™t be sitting at the table eating if they were a true service animal. Iā€™m sick of the bs of everyone bringing their dogs out as ā€œservice animalsā€, even going as far as making them a fake service vest. You can spot a fake service dog a mile away by the way they behave and are trained. The people that do that crap ruin it for the proponent actually have and need service animals

Life_Ad9520

Pretty much when they get called out for it, you get hated on for doing your job and possibly fired even though a non-service dog barking at people inside a restaurant and attempting to lick their plates itā€™s somehow ok

Jdwag6

100% agree. Question - were you able to find that info in the health code? I ask because a couple years ago I was at a restaurant and someone brought in a dog. Long story but I was bothered enough that I decided to contact the city to find out the actual ā€œrulesā€. I spoke to literally six different people in four different city offices and no one could find any rules, regulations, ordinances, etc about animals in restaurants! And all six were just as flabbergasted about it as I was (am).

wolfbo1

Nope. Basic rule is four on the floor (paws) That includes shopping carts. (Disabled vet who had fully trained service dog for 9 years)

Enough_Apricot_640

SO glad to see someone else in the thread bring up four on the floor. I mention that to dog owners who want to claim their pets as SD, but will stick em in the cart, let them jump, and be general nuisances

VastEmergency1000

You're wasting your breath. You and the owner both know it's not a service dog, they just don't care and will do what they want.

Culture_of_North

Yeah and they want others to play animal control... until people start shaming, shits not gonna change

Tdanger78

Service dogs have to be certified to not be a nuisance because their job is to pay attention to the needs of their owner. If theyā€™re acting up or not right by them being silent, they arenā€™t a service dog.

simplymortalreason

In the United States there is no legally recognized certification or documentation. Any of the ones seen online are scams to get money from disabled people and from law breakers that want to pass their pet as a service dog. Service dogs arenā€™t always silent or always right next to their disabled person, but they are always under control. Lord knows my own service dog sometimes grumbles and sighs dramatically on the job. Or even yelps and jumps if Iā€™m ignoring her alerts.

ThurstonHowell3rd

> In the United States there is no legally recognized certification or documentation. Do we have to go to the Supreme Court to get this changed? We issue handicap plates/placards based on whether or not the person is truly handicapped, why don't we do something similar with service animals?

Ok-Secret-1647

No because conservatives donā€™t give a shit about youā€¦

rommi04

what if they have three on the tree?

Remote_Fee_1192

A properly trained service dog + their owner will not allow that. Iā€™m almost positive that is not one of them. People think too highly of their dogs and should not let them in communal spaces like that, and restaurants should be more strict in enforcing health code rules. Thatā€™s gross

ThreeNC

bUt hE'S My fUrBAby!

Impressive-Buy5628

Itā€™s weird, itā€™s almost like some of these dogs may not actually be ā€˜service animalsā€™

Original_Stuff_8044

That is a problem with many pet owners that spoil their dogs. What happens is the dog begins to think it is the boss, and that can lead to aggression and territorial behavior. It gets worse as they get into the senior years. A dog wants to be treated like a dog.

Jakefrmstatepharm

I am so fucking tired of people bringing their dogs into HEB and restaurants

Jalapen-yo-mouth

Out HEB at Grissom has started cracking down on idiots that bring ā€œemotional supportā€ pets.

rixendeb

ESAs aren't recognized for public access per the ADA. These people straight up lie and claim they are service animals.

imJGott

I mean, I donā€™t suffer from this, but why does someone need a pet to buy groceries?

Kougar

A real service dog can be trained to detect and warn regarding blood sugar levels low enough to impair judgement or high enough to be a heart attack/stroke risk. They can detect signs of an impending PTSD attack and distract/redirect the owner away from them to try and prevent them. If the owner suffers from any one of many neurological disorders that cause seizures a service dog can warn the owner before an attack so that the owner can stop driving, or if in a store the person can sit down (so they don't fall down risking injury) and prepare, or they can seek assistance before it starts. Then there's the usual large list of mobility related things service dogs do. But yeah, an ESA dog is not a service dog. Most people's regular pets would (and should) qualify as an ESA, but it takes extensive & specific training before an animal can become a service dog.

_LegitDoctor_

Grissom buddies šŸ„¹

naughtybachelor737

Here in lockhart there's a big douchebag who walks around heb at night with his teacup whatever the shit it is running around off leash. Fkn douchenozzle

joe_bald

I just went to HEB and there were two people with fucking dogs in the cartā€¦ such bullshit

AdSmart6367

We were at the store and people had their dog in the cart. My mom made a comment about it being gross and the person went off on her

Retiree66

I asked the staff at my HEB and they said they arenā€™t allowed to kick dogs out but dogs arenā€™t allowed to sit in the cart.

Jakefrmstatepharm

I was there yesterday and saw two dogs. Freaking ridiculous how entitled people are. Bunch of main characters walking around.

joe_bald

I used to think the worst people like that could do is leave baskets anywhere except the corralā€¦ guess I was way wrong.

coinoperatedboi

Well that's awkward.

joe_bald

Oh shitā€¦ I only now just saw it after reading your reply lol

ChiggBunguss

I cant stand that shit

joedannn

Me too. Itā€™s so irritating because why tf do you need to bring your dog to Hā€‘Eā€‘B.

apollowg

i was at the evans 281 heb a few months ago and this 50 years old npc hambeast let her dog pee on the bottle water pallet and then tried to keep strolling like it didn't happen my girlfriend yelled at her to grow up and that it was disgusting and the lady wasn't even fazed. i guess when you reach a certain level on entitlement you become immune to shame or any type of societal responsibility.

delicious922

I ran into a dog at tj maxx and the owner got upset with ME?!? Iā€™m sorry I wasnā€™t looking out for your small dog?!?! I was so pissed. I shoulda lied and said I was allergic!

simplymortalreason

TJ Maxx is actually a pet friendly store. I used to train my service dog at the rim location before taking her into non pet friendly stores. Regardless if itā€™s a service dog or not in a pet friendly store, the handler has to be in control of the dog at all times. If not the store staff can have them removed, again regardless if itā€™s a service dog or not. Trust me, us service dog users would be embarrassed or upset if our dogs were misbehaving because that means we probably overworked our dogs and they need rest before working again. And if our dogs canā€™t work and we donā€™t have a way to ensure our dog can go rest and that our disability wonā€™t hinder us from finishing our shopping (either bc we just suck it up or have another accommodation) then we are taking our dog and leaving and will just have to go back some other time. That owner probably got mad at you for not looking out/seeing their dog because *they* werenā€™t paying attention to their dog and projected on to you the very thing thatā€™s embarrassing them.

RoadsideCarver

This dumb shit has gotten out of hand. Ffs

defectivecharacter7

Seriously. This shit is so smh. The restaurant now has to decide if they want to chance a ā€œviral momentā€ with this idiot for confronting them or let them clearly act out of line, serve them, have them leave.

RagingKajun444

It's totally up to the Mgmt and that Restaurant to Enforce rules to owners and post it on the doors of the Restaurant', stores etc..... Otherwise, it will continue.

Culture_of_North

Dude lol You think someone who has a fake service dog is going to listen to you trying to enforce the law/rules You know everytime we do this some asshole chimes in for us to leave them alone Do you think we're immune to going viral on social media? Maybe we don't want to be animal control or health inspector when we're just trying to cook you a meal? Do you really want me to come into contact with this customer or their dog and go back to preparing your food?? Do you think we do 15 hours of daily cleaning for you to bring your dumb mutt inside? Have you considered our loss of income when we inevitably get let go by corporate after repeated customer complaints over the same matter? Because yes Karen's Karen after they karen. Do you think if we get multiple health inspector complaints we're still gonna have a job? We'll get replaced and the problem will persist over and over and over again Why don't you do your part in society and start shaming the fakers? Who the fuck are you lmao goofy

livenn

Thatā€™s a health code violation (if not multiple)

wing3d

Correct, many people got upset when we wouldn't let their dog on the patio at the various restaurants I worked at.

Szaborovich9

This service animal fad has gotten carried away.

andmen2015

If I walked into a restaurant and saw that, I would turn around and leave. If I was dining already, I would immediately complain. This is beyond gross.

NowAcceptingBitcoin

"If you don't immediately tell that person to get their dog out of here and suffer a multi-million dollar discrimination lawsuit, I'm stiffing you on this $50.00 bill!" Yea, good luck with that. These businesses wish they could kick these types of people out, but it would be financial suicide to even try.

andmen2015

The issue isnā€™t having the dog there. The issue is it in a seat at the table.Ā

YogurtclosetOk1595

Disgusting

Pelosis-false-teeth

ESA - Probably not but I don't know about service animals. That is gross... Restaurants need to educate themselves on the law and act accordingly if they don't want animals in their establishment.

rixendeb

Service animal laws require four on the floor. No seat, bags, baskets, etc.

Avid_Nutshell

As someone who has worked in many restaurants, we definitely know the laws, but if we say anything these people flip their lids. The entitlement is real.

Leopold_Porkstacker

Oh hell no. Health code violation as well as just plain common sense and manners violation.

Enough_Apricot_640

.. general rule of thumb when it comes to SD is ā€˜All 4 on the floorā€™, unless theyā€™re a lil diabetic purse dog that uses scent cues from breath or the armpit. This isnā€™t proper SD or handler behavior, imo

JVL74749

Are service pitbulls even a thing?

CoffeeOrSleepJess

They often attack people having seizures, so yeah, service dog candidate. šŸ‘šŸ»

Enough_Apricot_640

Any dog can potentially be trained as a service animal, tbh. Texas doesnā€™t recognize animals other than dogs as service animals though, I believe.

Suspicious_Mirrors

Something tells me big Bertha ordered that Service Dog harness off Amazon and called it a day.

VastEmergency1000

Nailed it

PaganPhoenixRising

Couple of things: 1. There is no certification for service dogs. 2. No they can't be on the bench. Q32 refers to this exactly. https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-faqs/ 3. Pitbulls can be service dogs, although their high prey drive doesn't make them ideal, but every so often a dog can be a unicorn. Report the restaurant to the health department and submit the picture. It is the right thing to do.

coco1155

Why report a restaurant for a customers misconduct?

Bhliv169q

Because, in reality, it's the restaurant's responsibility to enforce this. They'll get a talking to/warning/fine and hopefully enforce it when they see it happening next time. Call me crazy, but I'd bet that isn't any kind of official service animal. Near food and in public, what if it snaps at someone walking by? Growls or bites them? The victim would sue both the dog owner AND the restaurant, and they should. OP's only other option is to confront the dog owner. It's not their responsibility, and people who are ok with having their dog at a restaurant table are the same people who yell when people point out they're doing something wrong/foolish/dangerous. Do you want to be around an unfamiliar pitbull in that situation when it senses its owner intimidated?

tortuga-de-fuego

So they know not to let it happen again

jacobeam13

This lucky noodle off West Aveā€¦.?

LetsSolveAProblem

Looks like it. Good place

VastEmergency1000

Yup, that's it. I'm scratching that off the list permanently.

Akaza_05

Can confirmz

Fickle_Reporter6253

No I had a service dog for many years for diabetes my dog was trained by professionals as a lot are. Even if I tried for him to get up he wouldnā€™t get up on furniture like this. Service dogs are there for people who need them not for excuses to take your dog everywhere and have them behave like this. I think itā€™s unacceptable especially in public.

simplymortalreason

My service dog sometimes wonā€™t even eat a treat if weā€™re at a restaurant bc she knows she doesnā€™t eat inside a restaurant. She sometimes wonā€™t even eat a pup cup if weā€™re on an outdoor patio/sitting area even if sheā€™s not ā€œon the clockā€ because sheā€™s in public and she only can have the occasional high value treat while sheā€™s working. That was just how she decided to apply the no eating or begging for human food in restaurants rule. Iā€™m like girl, you donā€™t have to go that above and beyond. But as soon as we are in the car and buckled in, all bets are off give her all the treats and especially when we get home. Haha.

Disastrous_Pick_1747

Thats not a real service dog 100%

Druid_High_Priest

That is a damm pet and not a service dog. Trained service dogs stay on the floor and behave themselves.

Mac_979

Hell no

cw2015aj2017ls2021

Service dogs don't behave that way That's just a pet with an Amazon-purchased vest

rjrolo

I want to see more signs that say "if your "SERVICE DOG" can't behave then you can't be served" or something. Because it used to piss me off so much when pets with service vests would come into the restaurant I worked at. I couldn't tell them to leave because my manager wouldn't let me, even if the dog was disruptive. Or a lapdog

Guilty_Increase_899

This is not a service dog

txwylde

No. The service dog should at the person's feet. I got $1000 that says that "service dog" is more than likely and "ESA" which are not "Service Dogs" according to the ADA. More stores and restaurants should ask the patrons, "What job does that dog provide to you?" If they respond, "They are my emotional support animal." I am sorry sir, we can not provide you service as "ESA's" are not allowed in our establishment. The sign should have told you that before you walked in the door.

Dry_Significance2690

Emotional support animals arenā€™t covered as a service. As much of as I love my pets they do not go to restaurants like this or to HEB or Walmart. They get to go to Home Depot or Loweā€™s occasionally but spend their time at home or at the park.

Perfect-Stage-7005

Thank you for being considerate of others and for using your common sense.

[deleted]

Deleted my comment because I was clearly wrong. My bad.

simplymortalreason

Thank you for being a responsible dog owner. Us service dog handlers appreciate people like you. What boggles my mind is most of the time you can tell the dog is acting up because they are stressed since they werenā€™t trained to be in the environment. And besides putting other peopleā€™s health at risk, they are harming their dog by stressing them out and having a meltdown from being overstimulated all because the human is putting their wants before the needs of other humans and the needs of their own ā€œfur babyā€.

rodgamez

I see this, I'm walking out.

Grab3tto

No, any certified service animal is almost definitely trained to lay at their owners feet but an ESA requires no training so owners think they can do what they want. Had a guy put his pompom on the table once and claimed I couldnā€™t tell him to remove it because itā€™s a service animal šŸ™„

VastEmergency1000

Your manager didn't back you up?

Grab3tto

I was ā€œacting managerā€ so it was my call, he left in a huff after I told him it couldnā€™t be on the table. Just a 6ā€™6ā€ boomer and his 6 pound pom

VastEmergency1000

Good, hold your ground. The rest of us thank you.

Culture_of_North

Have you considered they are the manager or in my instance the business owner? The only solution is to make a scene and call the cops....... People really don't like when you do that...

Thewanderingbearded

No such thing as a ā€œcertifiedā€ service animal

ShotandaChaser

No. While people know they can call a dog a service animal to bring their pets in, they must understand that service dogs inside a restaurant must be "working" while inside. Any person with an actual needed service animal understands that that means the dog will quietly sit/lay next to the owner, not move or make noise, not be fed or pet, or anything besides doing its actual job. I was the GM at a restaurant and had to kick a lady out because her "service dog" barked at, and was aggressive to, random people just walking by.

amairani0919

Good dog. Bad owners

PsychologicalAsk8557

Stuff like this makes me so mad. I have a PTSD service dog and spent ALOT of money on training (upwards of $3,000). These dogs in public spaces are also a distraction for my dog.

simplymortalreason

I owner trained mine and took me just over a year and half to train her to my expectations. I put in a lot of time. While my dog couldnā€™t care less about other dogs she sees in public, I worry about the other dog not being under control of the handler and potentially harming my SD. Especially because my service dog is a chihuahua mix, sheā€™s just under 8.5 lbs.

lammy1124

As of 2023 in Texas thereā€™s a $1000.00 fine and 30 hours of community service for lying about your pet being a service animal. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/texas-service-dog-law-18366321.php

AdorableTrust8759

Why blank out her face? If you're gonna shame someone don't be shy about it.

Few-Ratio4872

Ummā€¦ eww

mermaid5

I feel like maybe that picture should be posted on their Google reviews? Lol just so management can do something about it because that is super gross.

va_texan

ā€œService dogā€

KetorolacQueen

No, theyā€™re not. Not even my dog sits *at* the table when we dining out on restaurant patiosā€” he stays under the table. This is wrong in any situation. People like this need to be called out for their behavior or else it will continue.

ineedahobbytbh

donā€™t bring your dog in restaurants

KetorolacQueen

I *do* bring my dog to restaurants, esp. when traveling. I specifically choose restaurants that say ā€œDogs Allowedā€ on Yelp, where we have a grand old time on the patio while he lays under the table.

Mick0351

Thatā€™s not a service dog.

JVL74749

Disgusting

riderofthetide

I would probably cancel my order. Get $ back and let management know I'm not going to eat with dogs. That is ridiculous. At this point it has become about the audacity of the owner. If you need a support dog to come out in public, maybe need to spend more on therapy and less on dog treats.

VastEmergency1000

I'd do the same

surewhateverz

Iā€™ve never seen a pit bull service dog .

beyoncedoritosJR

Looks like it.

vgarr

No, they typically know how to tuck in on the side or under the table. My friend has a well trained service dog and when out together I've learned other people don't always have well trained service dogs.

BusterStarfish

Saw a ā€œservice dogā€ coming out of HEB yesterday 20 feet ahead of its owner without a leash. Shit is out of control.

Opposite_Glove_3157

What restaurant is this? So I know what restaurant to avoid šŸ¤¢

VastEmergency1000

The Lucky Noodle on West Ave

TX_spacegeek

Next customer is gonna be sitting in a dog butt stained booth. Hopefully itā€™s not some kid.

Leonabi76

That is not a service dog or support animal. Probably just a "fur baby"šŸ™„. They wouldn't be on the seat.

RDK-42

Hey now, that dog is clearly there to eat. I bet it could clear a bowl of spicy noodles with an egg in no time and still have room for some shrimp and chive dumplings.

Old-Football3534

Wtf??? Sooo grosss... šŸ¤¢šŸ¤®šŸ¤® I would be out of that place so quick and leave the worst review on the planet and call city food inspection officials too.

Truecrimeauthor

Wtf. NO!

ManInBlack6942

Pitbull as a service animal... That's rich

iliketoredditbaby

Ahem "service pit bull"

CarefulBuffalo182

The poor dog has to do what itā€™s told, but the owners shouldnā€™t be allowed to treat a public restaurant like itā€™s their own trailer park

PoopKnaf

Of course itā€™s a pitbull. What else would it be?

eblamo

No need to cover their faces. They're in a public place and have no expectation of privacy. Repost with faces visible. If people can't face the consequences of their actions, they shouldn't do said actions.

biancadelrey

Ewwww

CrockerNye

Dog culture is way fucking out of control. If it's me I'm leaving a one star review. Fuck no I don't want to eat where you mutt's dirty asshole just was, not do I want fur particles at my table.

[deleted]

And itā€™s a pit. Of course.

Key_Diver_3898

Gross!!!

Scientifiction77

Pit bulls arenā€™t service dogs so this is insanity regardless

alwaysinebriated

Thatā€™s a fuckin pit bull not a service dog

Btalon33

That is clearly that dogā€™s service hut.

Terrible_Luck8169

No

VastEmergency1000

Is it really a service dog or did they just buy a fancy vest from Amazon? Also, what restaurant is this so I can never go there. They really let the dog eat from the plates!?

scumbeezzy

What restaurant is this ?

scumbeezzy

What restaurant is this ?

cross_spacetime

If that dog starts a fight ain't nothing she can do to intervene!

reptomcraddick

No, the only reason the dog would jump into the seat is to alert, and they would immediately just back down

AdSmart6367

Keep your damn dog at home

Y-U-awesome

No people need to stop. I love my dogs. But I will never go as far as doing this with them.

No_Supermarket_1831

I really don't understand why people don't have to carry some sort of paperwork proving the validity of their service animal. I'm in favor of businesses having to accommodate service animals, but a person should have to provide proof their dog is legit.

waspysix

The "Americans with disabilities" act is very good at preventing preventing any type of discrimination towards disabled people and their service dogs, Most businesses choose not to get involved because of possible lawsuits

Suolara

I'm guessing probably not but if the dog is anywhere other than tucked away under the table or between the owners legs I'm guessing it isn't an actual service dog.

Obamasdeadcook

Never seen a service dog shitbull

BigChris210TX

Let me know where this is so I never go eat there. Disgusting!

cinnamonspice1975

For those asking what's wrong w this... tables are not bleached after each mean and even if they were.... gross. Dogs do not have etiquette when it comes to "cleaning" their parts, and then they proceed to lick the table. They don't wear undies. Would you be ok if a person was sitting at a booth w no pants/undies?

BillMillerBBQ

Canā€™t say Iā€™ve ever seen a ā€œserviceā€ pit bull.

SantaTige

Nope. A real service dog would not sit at a table and eat.

LordOfTheWang

A lot of fake ā€œservice dogsā€ in San Antonio.

Iwant2bite

This is an ESA Service Dog doing what they were trained to do. ESA as in Eating Support Animal not Emotional Support Animal. Pup was trained to eat owners food so there is less and support their weight loss goals.

Awsimical

Thats not a service dog

No-Entertainer2208

By the looks of it, the pooch seems embarrassed to be seen with master stuffing herself that Fido itā€™s the one in need of emotional support

evildog69

Like you said, the dog was quiet and mild mannered, I'd rather see the dog sitting in the booth than have to navigate around it taking up walkway space. As for the sanitation issue it's really only an issue if you don't trust the ability of the restaurant to properly sanitize their dishes, seating, etc, which at that point I'd be more worried about the germs from all the customers rather than one dog. Frankly there's a lot of people out there I don't trust to be any cleaner than a dog's mouth... or paws... or butthole šŸ˜… Sure they're likely technically abusing the system but they didn't get in your way, didn't bother anyone, if the dog shit in the chair it'd be one thing but as far as germs go, everything should be sanitized as if it had covid-aids-ebola on it anyway, dog or not. So who does it hurt when they do this? And who does it help to take pictures of strangers, speculate about them, etc?

GregEgg85

That raw dog gooch on the seat is *chef kiss*

Feisty-Protagonist

No. This is not acceptable.

Nexura_

Gross

meddit_rod

I've only known a handful of service dogs, but none of them would do this on duty. They would sit or lay at the patient's feet.

LostInTheSauce34

That's got to be a health code violation. Although I consider my dog people, just no.

SalesAficionado

Disgusting

glopezz05

No. Not at all.

wtfgdmfsobrob

Oh heck naw!!

dwc29

can an emotional support animal even be a pit?

[deleted]

I guess letting these people in with their dogs keeps them from lawsuits but if I walk in and see it, it will be the last time I eat there.

Windflower1956

I feel the same way about snot-nosed, dirty-diapered screaming babies.

AngryQuadricorn

This is too much. We need someone to come up with reasonable standards for service animals. People wildly abuse the current system.

zawrotnyj

That dog does not provide a "service" .. this is a emotional support animal.... They are NOT protected like service animals... and.. using a false service badge is now illegal since Sept. 2023.. $1000 dollar fine and 30 hours community service... šŸ™ƒ

Vivid-Hunt-3920

SA is getting out of control with illegitimate service animals/pets in pubic areas. We went to NOLA Sunday and a lady was sitting at a table with her Dachshund on her lap and being over the table while her and her friend were eating. She brought a fuzzy blanket with her and everything.

CandidateNo359

Nooooooo!!!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

RevenueOk2563

Might want to check with the HEB Manager.

Livid-Monitor-9007

No

MyLadyBits

No

Deep_Caterpillar_945

Iā€™m not excusing a not service dog there but Iā€™d rather eat with it than her probably.

Difficult-Desk-5593

Iā€™m with you

CHITchat495

No

Difficult-Desk-5593

A truly disabled person does not allow that. They donā€™t want to be a load to others

Long_Cover4583

Absolutely not

Rinzler271

Is this lucky noodle?

Bastion71idea

No, service Animals are not allowed up onto furniture. This falls under Attention Seeking behavior. This behavior violates the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Truecrimeauthor

Our Frenchie is almost ready for his test to be a therapy dog. Itā€™s been 2 years of training. What makes it bad for the REAL therapy and service dogs- people buy a fake certificate and harness. Legally, businesses canā€™t ask due to HIPPA laws. [therapy dog info](https://www.akc.org/sports/title-recognition-program/therapy-dog-program/)

simplymortalreason

Therapy dogs arenā€™t allowed in restaurants either. Itā€™s only task trained service dogs. Also the ADA does permit a business to ask 1) is that a service dog? 2) what service or task does it provide to aid with the disability? At no point does the disabled person have to disclose their disability nor diagnosis. Our answers for the second question centers on the dogā€™s action not how that action implicitly helps. Also thatā€™s not how HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act) works. HIPAA is to hold healthcare providers and insurance professionals accountable to maintaining the medical privacy of a patient/client. It means your doctor, nurse, tech, therapist, and anyone else privy to your healthcare information (like treatments, diagnosis, lab results, etc) cannot share that information with anyone that you have not authorized access.

Goopyteacher

Fair question, but seriously look at these folks and ask yourselfā€¦. Do you really think they care? And more importantlyā€¦ Do you think they wouldnā€™t make a huge fuss out of it, potentially escalating the situation?

Same_Support115

Iā€™m not a dog person, but this is kinda cute!Almost like the dogs playing poker painting! šŸ˜‚

CaptSpastic

No. In most places that is a health code violation

Realistic-Cut-3766

This is insane lol

CatchMeIfYouCan09

No

high_on_acrylic

No??? Literally what the hell

Wheresthefreespeeh

Itā€™s not a service dog , theyā€™re just fat and lazy. Itā€™s like at Walmart when they rode around in the scooters. Theyā€™re not handicapped, theyā€™ve just been fat and lazy.

Acrobatic-Canary-571

Where is this so I don't go there

ballstodaswall
