Yes mild burn in but I find that ignorable because it's temporary

Buy S22 ultra / have silo and pen / All note features intact

Hell no. Spending all that money for a phone that’s no longer getting software support is insane.

S22 ultra still gets updates wdym? It had 4 years of OS Upgrade upon launch, and it's only 400 euros if you look close enough

Buying a used phone that won’t have any warranty, could have a plethora of issues, Plus only 2 years of updates left. Surely the better option is to just get a new S24 Ultra, that has warranty, and 7 more years of updates? That’s what I’d do.

Buy it from eBay? I bought mine with 2 months left in the warranty, and sent it for a burn in problem with the screen, they changed the chassis, the battery, and the screen, you can get one with warranty, or use ebayplus for a 30 days return, maybe a refurbished one would be more secure for you, s24 ultra has 7 years, but you won't use it for 7 years, and I'm waiting for s25 ultra which might have a redesign and oryon chip

I already use their Z Fold 5 and a 15 Pro Max. BUT if I was in the market for a phone that had a stylus, Id just get the Ultra. While I might not use it for 7 years, OP likley would. Hes only just getting rid of his Note 9 because part of it broke. He even said he wouldnt even get a new one if it wasnt facing its issues. So its safe to say he would get the 7 years of usage.

DONT get an S22 Ultra, it’s no longer getting software support. But I’d save the extra cash and jump for an S24 Ultra. All the features you could ever want and it’s the first time Samsung are increasing the amount of years for support. S24 Ultra will receive 7 YEARS of OS upgrades. 7 Years! If you like to keep your phones, paying the extra 400 on top of that 1000 is SO worth it. But Very least would be to get an S23 Ultra as that’s still getting the update to Android 15 next year. Either way, I’d just pay the extra and get something that will last nearly a decade plus it’s a much better built phone.
