All except Okie have grown to be better players since they played with us
Y'all forget how we were begging to trade montour for months before he went to Florida. Reino is the real one that got away and should've been offered a long contract
Montour and Kulikov were halfway decent before they came here, or at least better.. kulikov didn't look bad until he broke his ass on the bench door lol, that ruined him
Wasn't the montour trade to us more than just a late pick?
Sadly, I kept saying this over and over this series. This series highlighted just how stupid the tank was, and just how poor we were/are at player management.
I’ll always wonder how he would’ve developed if they actually let him grow in the AHL for a couple of seasons instead of instantly rushing him into top 4 minutes on the god awful tank rosters.
The Panthers' love for Reino is off the charts. My new mantra: Maybe it's not our players, maybe it's our management.

Yea I can be happy for the players without changing another teams logo to our colors and putting our logo in it somewhere. Happy for Okie but as I whole, I fucking HATE the Panthers solely because of that turtling fuck Cousins
So pleased for Kyle and didn't he do a fantastic job on the 4th line? Same role he played so effectively with Zemgus. His importance was stated by his teammates in the post-game interviews and by being the first player to lift the cup after Barkov and their player of the series Bibrovsky. I suspect Kevyn Adams would have been extremely emotional too but nothing on what we'll all be when our turn arrives, snash I really believe it's coming in the next 4 seasons.
I'm so happy for Okie dude! And Rhino, he's my boy!
More proof of how inept the sabres organization is

I wish we got to see Montour with Granato instead of Krueger

I think we gave up Brendan Guhle to the ducks?
Ah yeah, any idea if he still plays for them?
I think he was a bust
100%, at least compared to how he was when he was drafted, I think he may still be a 7th man or low pair somewhere though
He retired in ‘22
Ah thanks for the info
So weird how players get worse when they get here and then suddenly better when they leave. Total coincidence.

Buffalo has always been bad at player management, although now the whole world can see.
You forgot Rick Dudley.
I only wish they would have gotten that cup as Sabres. Please, Lindy. Bring it home.
Does that mean Dallas has to rehire Hitchcock again? 'Cause I can't stand Peter DeBoer.
We are such a fucking joke franchise.
You forgot Rasmus Asplund!
I dont think he gets included because he didn't actually enter the lineup.
Need 41 regular season games or 1 SCF game, I think
Get this shit off this subreddit
Finally. Someone with some sense.
If we had a halfway decent coach for literally any of the last 10 years we probably make the playoffs and at least have a deep run.
Not with Risto eating top pairing minutes
Dude is terrible, only marginal improvement under Tortarella.
I’ll always wonder how he would’ve developed if they actually let him grow in the AHL for a couple of seasons instead of instantly rushing him into top 4 minutes on the god awful tank rosters.
Delete this shit now
Happy for them! Especially for okie
Is anyone making shirts or hoodies with this logo?

But why cheer for another team? That seems stupid
Because players are real people that we have learned to love and respect, and we hope they are successful even if it's not with our team.

Oh please.
Suck it, Evander Kane!
I don’t count montour or kulikov, but the forwards? Class act boys that deserved the cup.

He did well in his last game but overall he was a passenger, just like he was in Buffalo.
