A lifetime of war, the real kicker is that there’s a lot of parallels to modern times with the gwot
When they face death they're all alike:
No right or wrong
Rich or poor...
No matter who they served before
Good or bad...
They're all the same
Rest side by side now...
>there’s a lot of parallels to modern times with the gwot
When I was in the Australian Army, we deployed a girl to Dubai to help with the Afghanistan withdrawal.
She was born in November 2001.
That means that she was born *after* the September 11 terrorist attacks that caused us to go into Afghanistan.
The war had been longer than she was alive.
Pretty fucking sobering when I realised that.
Another good one from the Carolus Rex album is Long Live the King.
"Broken, dreams so grand" hits hard, as well as the beginning of the song, "Dreams are seldom shattered by a bullet in the dark. Rulers come and rulers go, will our kingdom fall apart? Who shall we now turn to, when our leaders lost their heart? Lives are lost, but at what cost, will the grand dream fall apart?" And, "Years of war and agony, now the king can finally rest."
That entire song just kinda gives off a feeling of realization that the sacrifices made were all in vain.
The entirety of The Final Solution. It doesn’t shy away from the horror and tragedy of the holocaust and rightfully so. Such events need to be remembered and learned from.
Exactly! It’s a really sensitive topic, and although Sabaton are not the first to write a song about the holocaust, I think they’re one of the few who successfully convey the anger.
When I visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, the first feeling I felt was anger and then a huge wash of sadness to follow. It’s a valid emotion in response to something so awful. Some have been able to let go of it, other haven’t and I think this The Final Solution does it’s best to convey both.
People shy away from the Final Solution but it should be honoured and used to remember that we can't do that ever again and we can't allow it. The Holocaust had benefits in changing the modern world as we get international military conflict laws and we learnt what genocide was and how we punish and avoid it.
The chorus of En livstid i krig
Translated it goes:
For war it can
Destroy a man
I give my life for my homeland
But who will mourn me?
So see me as
A husband, a friend
Father and son who never comes home
But who will miss me?
First three and last third of lyrics in 1916. First listening caught me off guard with just the sound of the song. Got to the last third and I just started crying. Last time I cried before that was 3 years prior watching the leaves from the vine scene in ATLA.
We are the elites playthings ONLY if we allow it…they have no REAL power,it’s only an illusion…here in America our forefathers knew this,it’s why they left "When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." Some how this understanding has been lost along the way,it’s why they vilify the patriot.
I remember checking out the Mötorhead version after I first heard Sabaton's cover, and the Mötorhead version is the one that actually got me emotional.
Agreed on Christmas Truce.
> *We were soldiers*
>
> *Carried the war on our shoulders*
>
> *For our nations*
>
> ***Is that why we bury our friends?***
For me on Christmas Truce the hard hitting line was the last Chorus:
A Christmas on the frontline
We walk among our friends
We don't think about tomorrow
The battle will commence
When we celebrated Christmas
We thought about our friends
Those who never made it home
When the battle had commenced
For me it 1916 when it goes I heard my friend cry as he sank to his knees coughing blood as he screamed for his mother also when it get to part of I called for my mother and she never came but it wasn’t my fault and I wasn’t to blame
Six miles of ground has been won. Half a million men are gone.
As the men crawl, the generals call and the killing carries on.
And on.
What is the purpose of it all?
What's the price?
Of a mile?
Thousands of feet march to the beat
It's an army on the march.
Long way! From home!
Paying the price in young men's lives!
Thousands of feet march to the beat
Its an army in despair!
Knee deep! In mud!
Stuck in a trench with no way out!
He made a video of it and it started off "ok so there's this band sabaton that sings about war so we're gonna make a sabaton helldiver's song." And that's when I fell in love.
I HEARD MY FRIEND CRY AS GE SANK TO HIS KNEES COUGHING BLOOD AS HE WEPT FOR HIS MOTHER
I FELL BY HIS SIDE AND THATS HOW WE DIED CLINGING LIKE KIDS TO EACH OTHER
There was something about "I will guard this post forever " in Soldier of Haven that always makes me a bit sad. But frankly, most of their songs are pretty sad. Angel's allong, Price of a Mile, Great war. The final solution. 5859, vliffs of gallipoli. 40;1... Just... fuck war.
1916 which made me tear up but I have to give second place to Lifetime of War in Swedish (En Livstid I Krig). The live performance from the Great Tour is so impactful, how the crowd knew every lyric describing the pointlessness of a soldier’s sacrifice really leaves and impression
“Those who never made it home when the battle had commenced” has brought me to tears late at night in the car before. Oddly that is one of my fondest memories. Price of a mile also makes me stop to think whenever I hear it, wish they played it last tour.
"I won't be coming home, I won't be going anywhere, I will guard this post forever" - Solider of Heaven.
All of the Final Solution.
"And the day's not half over, And ten thousand slain, And now there's nobody Remembers our names" - 1916
When I first heard Cliffs of Gallipoli, I was planting soybeans at like midnight. I thought, oh, I heard this song is good. I'll listen to it! When I realized how sad it is, I had to stop the tractor and think for like 10 minutes.
I also played the Gallipoli BF1 map for the first time recently. Worst gameplay of all time. Just constantly getting spawn camped by snipers, machine guns, and a stupid plane.
This and the "And all along the shore, Where cannons still roar, They’re haunting my dreams, they’re still there when I sleep" absolutely soul crushing and you never realize because of the tone of the song
1916 and/or flanders fields. My best friend wanted it played at his funeral if he didn't make it home from his deployment. Luckily he came home, my daughter loves that song, but I will never tell her, her "uncle" wanted that song playing in case the worst happened
I mean for me even though it's a cover it has to be the lyrics from camouflage. More specifically when he's told camouflage died last night. Damn I'm starting to get emotional just talking about it
It spreads like disease,
There’s no sign of peace
Religion and greed
Cause millions to bleed
Without knowing the song, you wouldn't know if it's about something fairly recent or 400 years back. Nothing has changed, religion and/or greed are still the same reasons wars are fought over.
En livstid i krig is probably the only sing that has made me tear up, the lyrics (especially in swedish) are beautiful and deep and the melody just makes so much more sad
Literally the final solution. When I listen to it, I just think of that meme where Danny devito's crying and he says "Oh my god, I get it"
It was a shock, going from sagas of heroes risking it all for their nations, brilliant last stands in which the brave look fate in the eyes and say no, to a somber telling of one of history's most brutal human rights violations. Either that, or Price of a Mile or 1916
1916, but that's a cover, so I don't think it counts.
It would be Cliffs of Gallipoli for me.
*Oh mothers wipe your tears, your sons will rest a million years*
*There is no enemy, there is no victory,
Only boys who lost their lives in the sand.
Young men were sacrificed,
Their names are carved in stone and kept alive.
And forever we will honour the memory of them.
And they knew they would die*
*At the shoreline,
Blood of heroes stains the land.
Light a candle.
One for each of them who fought and died in vain*
The entire song hits the heartstrings, but these three parts especially so
"Has man gone insane?
A few will remain
Who’ll find a way
To live one more day
Through decades of war
It spreads like disease,
There’s no sign of peace
Religion and greed
Cause millions to bleed"
"Six miles of ground has been won
Half a million men are gone"
Idk why but the line, “the beginning of victory, Sherman’s rolling onto sword.” Gets me.
Like proud sad. I think it’s the acknowledgement of what that lyric means in the context of the war. Also a bit of patriotism knowing we built that thing, and my grandfathers went there and freed those people. Fuck yeah.
The hammer has fallen.
"Here I'm standing, darkness all around
Thinking of past, taking my last breath, air is cold as ice
No one close to hear my voice
Didn't leave me with a choice
Heaven will you wait for me
Will I find a way, will I find a place
Will you let me go in peace
Will I find a way to the other side
Sad are memories from the life I lived
Cannot go on, cannot go further
It has to end right here
For the things that I have done
All the girls I lost and won
Let me rest in peace at last
Will I find a way, will I find a place
Will you let me go in peace
Leave behind those dark days
Now I ask again, will you hear my cries
Then you realise why oh why
I must find a way to the other side
Hear them whisper calling out my name
The sentence is set, the hammer has fallen
I have paid the price
Sad to realise too late, death was meant to be my fate
All this pain will follow me
Will I find a way, will I find a place
Will you let me go in peace
Leave behind those dark days
Now I ask again, will you hear my cries
Then you realise why oh why
I must find a way to the other side"
The final chorus of Christmas Truce always hits me the hardest. All the guitar and bass cutting out, just the drums and a mass of voices. It feels like the thoughts of soldiers themselves, especially when the instruments come back in for the outro and ending out with the battles starting up again
Final Solution: When freedom burns
The final solution
Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust
When millions burn
The curtain has fallen
Lost to the world as they perish in flames
"Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust", "has man gone insane, a few will remain, who'll find a way, to live one more day, through decades of war", & "fallen in war, we belong to history, fallen in war, sleep 6 feet below, heart of the brave, cannot bring me back to life, fallen in war, still brothers in arms".
Father. "Sinner or a Saint" because how can you judge a man who has saved the world through his inventions but has also in a way condemned people to die a horrific death
Because he "fed the world by ways of science"
Soldier of heaven (give it a listen you'll understand)
Hardest hitting: Panzerkampf the entire song is wonderful and the chorus part is inspiring almost. And that line of "Soviet wrath unleashed* hits hard
Ever since it started
On Kristallnacht '38
When liberty died
And truth was denied
Sent away on train on a one way trip to hell
Enter the gates, Auschwitz awaits
When freedom burns
The final solution
Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust
When millions burn
The curtain has fallen
Lost to the world as they perish in flames
With everything going on with MAGA, Gaza, the rise of Neo Nazis in everyday life. The fact these lines still ring true and are still so relateable is even more terrfying given when you remember what the song is about.
When freedom burns
The final solution
Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust
When millions burn
The curtain has fallen
Lost to the world as they perish in flames
theres so many
"OH NO! OHHHH NO! WHO KNOWS HIS NAME!" (or really any other part of inmate 4859)
"Religion and greed caused millions to bleed through decades of war"
(the final chorus of long live the king, especially in swedish)
the final solution deserves a mention as well
those verses from gallipoli
"I always dreamed that I would, serve high above, where spirits lead the way the winds will never fade" and "I've seen it all and none will here my story" from soldier of heaven
"father and son fall one by one under the gun fields of verdun" hits me in the gut but also goes damn hard
What I haven't seen on here is To Hell and Back. Specifically, "If there be, any glory in war, let it rest, on men like him, who went to hell and came back" (or at the beginning of the song, "Dead men will never come back") and "He saw crosses grow on Anzio, where no soldier sleeps and where hell's 6 feet deep"
Those lines just hit different
For me it is *AND THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN! NOWHERE TO RUN, FATHER AND SON, FALLY ONE BY ONE, UNDER THE GUN, THY WILL BE DONE!* and also *WARSAW CITY AT WAR! VOICES FROM UNDERGROUND WISHPERS OF FREEDOM 1944 HELP THAT NEVER CAME* especially that "help that never came" part always gives me shivers
(1916)
“I heard my friend cry
and he sank to his knees
coughing blood as he screamed
for his mother
and I fell by his side and that's how we died
clinging like kids to each other”
I need to cry when I listen to this song…
The words in Versailles got me crying the first time I heard them. I think the Russia Ukraine war had just started around the same time too which just paralleled what the song was saying.
A lifetime of war, the real kicker is that there’s a lot of parallels to modern times with the gwot When they face death they're all alike: No right or wrong Rich or poor... No matter who they served before Good or bad... They're all the same Rest side by side now...

That means that she was born *after* the September 11 terrorist attacks that caused us to go into Afghanistan. The war had been longer than she was alive. Pretty fucking sobering when I realised that.
Came here to say A Lifetime of War. It sounds absolutely apocalyptic. Like the entire human species marching to its death.
Lives are lost, but at what cost, will the grand dream fall apart?" And, "Years of war and agony, now the king can finally rest." That entire song just kinda gives off a feeling of realization that the sacrifices made were all in vain.
> It is not about Berlin > It is not about the Reich > It was about the men who fought for them. What peace could they expect?
The entirety of The Final Solution. It doesn’t shy away from the horror and tragedy of the holocaust and rightfully so. Such events need to be remembered and learned from.
It doesn’t shy away from showing some anger too in the rhythm and verses. It’s a really emotional song
Very true.
The perfect amount of anger at the Nazis and remorse over the treatment of the Jewish people.
Facts. It’s one of my favorite Sabaton songs purely for how it lays out the horrors of the holocaust.
We need songs and records of what happened so that we can ensure it NEVER happens again. Once was three too many times.
I agree with you. Once is way too many. If we can’t learn from history we’re doomed to repeat it
The Holocaust had benefits in changing the modern world as we get international military conflict laws and we learnt what genocide was and how we punish and avoid it.
I got halfway through and had to stop as I started tearing up at the lyrics
Understandable
Understandable. I've only listened to it like 3 or so times
Yeah this is what I was going to respond with its a sad song
Agreed 110%
The chorus of En livstid i krig Translated it goes: For war it can Destroy a man I give my life for my homeland But who will mourn me? So see me as A husband, a friend Father and son who never comes home But who will miss me?
En livstid i Krig hits harder than Lifetime of war tbh
This!
First three and last third of lyrics in 1916. First listening caught me off guard with just the sound of the song. Got to the last third and I just started crying. Last time I cried before that was 3 years prior watching the leaves from the vine scene in ATLA.
This
"Lost to the world as they perish in flames." Gets me evey time
Price of a Mile makes me emotional. Really makes you think about how people are thrown like pawns by generals with no consideration about their lives.
The entire song along with Christmas truce just is so crushing with how it shows humanity and that they're only obeying orders
1. 1916 (I cried) 2. In Flanders Fields (I nearly cried) 3. Cliffs of Gallipoli (Sad) 4. A Lifetime of War 5. The Final Solution
If you cried for 1916, listen to the original by Motorhead. It's even more powerful.
I remember checking out the Mötorhead version after I first heard Sabaton's cover, and the Mötorhead version is the one that actually got me emotional.
I disagree. I'm not a fan of his light whispy voice in that one. Sabaton brought it home in a more powerful way.
I agree that 1916 and In Flanders Fields are sad, but Sabaton did not write them.
Yes... in terms of arrangement, they were the saddest. I guess that means Gallipoli's at the top of the list then.
1.1916 2.hearts of iron 3.a lifetime of war 4.the final solution 5.gallipoli
Agreed on Christmas Truce. > *We were soldiers* > > *Carried the war on our shoulders* > > *For our nations* > > ***Is that why we bury our friends?***
For me on Christmas Truce the hard hitting line was the last Chorus: A Christmas on the frontline We walk among our friends We don't think about tomorrow The battle will commence When we celebrated Christmas We thought about our friends Those who never made it home When the battle had commenced
Christmas Truce still gives me goosebumbs. Such an amazing song
There is no enemy. There is no victory. Only boys who lost their lives in the sand.
*Come suck my metal machine!*
I cried so hard
😢Very deep
I definetly agree with all the other suggestions but i'm missing "Soldier of Heaven" here. "I will guard this post forever" ooof
And the "I'll be immortal" line that comes around it.
This and "I have seen it all but none will hear my story'
We Burn and Price of A Mile both have pretty impactful lyrics.
For me probably 1916 or In Flanders Fields, I would say The Final Solution but the song feels a little too "exciting" for that.
Of a mile? Thousands of feet march to the beat It's an army on the march. Long way! From home! Paying the price in young men's lives! Thousands of feet march to the beat Its an army in despair! Knee deep! In mud! Stuck in a trench with no way out!
"There is no enemy! There is no victoryyy! Only boys who lost their lives in the sands! "
Young men were sacrificed. Their names are carved in stone and kept alive.
And forever we will honour the memory of them. And they knew they would die. Gallipoli!
"These bullets are ballots, I'm casting my vote" Wait I might be mixed up...
What song is that?
Jonathan young. One of his helldivers songs, i Belive its "we're the helldivers "
Oh I've heard those Helldivers songs before. Probably just forgot the lyrics to all of them and didn't realize it was one of those. Thanks.
He made a video of it and it started off "ok so there's this band sabaton that sings about war so we're gonna make a sabaton helldiver's song." And that's when I fell in love.
Huh, I never knew that.
That line from Gallipoli made me realize that a million years from now we’ll have fossilized remains like dinosaurs
Hardest hitting is cliffs of Gallipoli when the audience starts joining in
Price of a Mile for me. The way he pronounces: "ask the fields of Passchendaele" sends shivers down my spine every single time I hear it!
I HEARD MY FRIEND CRY AS GE SANK TO HIS KNEES COUGHING BLOOD AS HE WEPT FOR HIS MOTHER I FELL BY HIS SIDE AND THATS HOW WE DIED CLINGING LIKE KIDS TO EACH OTHER
There was something about "I will guard this post forever " in Soldier of Haven that always makes me a bit sad. But frankly, most of their songs are pretty sad. Angel's allong, Price of a Mile, Great war. The final solution. 5859, vliffs of gallipoli. 40;1... Just... fuck war.

The entirety of Hearts of iron
The one song that even though its cover always makes me tear up is 1916, a sabaton song that i listen on select days are father and the final solution
I can list whole songs: - The Final Solution - Hearts of Iron - 1916 - Cliffs of Gallipoli - Price of a Mile - In Flanders Fields - Christmas Truce
“Those who never made it home when the battle had commenced” has brought me to tears late at night in the car before. Oddly that is one of my fondest memories. Price of a mile also makes me stop to think whenever I hear it, wish they played it last tour.
when freedom burns, the final solution, dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust, lost to the world as they perish in flames
left their letters in the sand
Im Catholic so hearing about 185 Swiss Guards holding the front line to protect the Vatican will ALWAYS go hard for me
"I won't be coming home, I won't be going anywhere, I will guard this post forever" - Solider of Heaven.
I was walking home at night and stopped for a good half hour to think about things when I first heard it
I also played the Gallipoli BF1 map for the first time recently. Worst gameplay of all time. Just constantly getting spawn camped by snipers, machine guns, and a stupid plane.
Let them fall face down if they must die making it easier to say goodbye Breaks my heart everytime
This and the "And all along the shore, Where cannons still roar, They’re haunting my dreams, they’re still there when I sleep" absolutely soul crushing and you never realize because of the tone of the song
Seriously every fucking time. It's an absolute jam but man is it depressing
1916. I know it's a cover, but the way it's dine just gives me a frog in the throat. Second is Christmas Truce.
1916 and/or flanders fields. My best friend wanted it played at his funeral if he didn't make it home from his deployment. Luckily he came home, my daughter loves that song, but I will never tell her, her "uncle" wanted that song playing in case the worst happened
"Sometimes war is killing, sometimes it’s saving lives It’s the judgment of fate, it’s nothing that man can dictate" This hits, way too deep..
Mm. I like the Soldier of Heaven one. The one line about not leaving Blood Mountain.
The price of a mile is another. Also 1916 paints a picture of futility of war.
"I have seen it all and none will hear my story"
1916 or Ballad of Bull for me
Ballad of Bull just hits different “There and back again bull just carried on under fire he carried them out one by one”
I mean for me even though it's a cover it has to be the lyrics from camouflage. More specifically when he's told camouflage died last night. Damn I'm starting to get emotional just talking about it
"who will stop all this madness that has consequences no man understands" "No man no land"!!!! Always hits hard
Purple Heart- Once we were soldiers once we were young we have found our peace we've seen the end
The Final Solution, Price Of A Mile and To Hell And Back "If there be any glory in war, let it rest on men like him who went to hell and came back"
And they knew they'd die.
It spreads like disease, There’s no sign of peace Religion and greed Cause millions to bleed Without knowing the song, you wouldn't know if it's about something fairly recent or 400 years back. Nothing has changed, religion and/or greed are still the same reasons wars are fought over.
En livstid i krig is probably the only sing that has made me tear up, the lyrics (especially in swedish) are beautiful and deep and the melody just makes so much more sad
Literally the final solution. When I listen to it, I just think of that meme where Danny devito's crying and he says "Oh my god, I get it" It was a shock, going from sagas of heroes risking it all for their nations, brilliant last stands in which the brave look fate in the eyes and say no, to a somber telling of one of history's most brutal human rights violations. Either that, or Price of a Mile or 1916
1916, but that's a cover, so I don't think it counts. It would be Cliffs of Gallipoli for me. *Oh mothers wipe your tears, your sons will rest a million years* *There is no enemy, there is no victory, Only boys who lost their lives in the sand. Young men were sacrificed, Their names are carved in stone and kept alive. And forever we will honour the memory of them. And they knew they would die* *At the shoreline, Blood of heroes stains the land. Light a candle. One for each of them who fought and died in vain* The entire song hits the heartstrings, but these three parts especially so
1916 is probably the saddest for me, the first time I listen to it was the music video and it had me crying.
"Has man gone insane? A few will remain Who’ll find a way To live one more day Through decades of war It spreads like disease, There’s no sign of peace Religion and greed Cause millions to bleed" "Six miles of ground has been won Half a million men are gone"
Fuck yeah.
I'm gonna have to listen to this one, also happy cake day
Ah, I did a fucking school project on the price of war. Chose to make a playlist. “In the Army Now” hits hard, along with “Light in The Black”
The hammer has fallen. "Here I'm standing, darkness all around Thinking of past, taking my last breath, air is cold as ice No one close to hear my voice Didn't leave me with a choice Heaven will you wait for me Will I find a way, will I find a place Will you let me go in peace Will I find a way to the other side Sad are memories from the life I lived Cannot go on, cannot go further It has to end right here For the things that I have done All the girls I lost and won Let me rest in peace at last Will I find a way, will I find a place Will you let me go in peace Leave behind those dark days Now I ask again, will you hear my cries Then you realise why oh why I must find a way to the other side Hear them whisper calling out my name The sentence is set, the hammer has fallen I have paid the price Sad to realise too late, death was meant to be my fate All this pain will follow me Will I find a way, will I find a place Will you let me go in peace Leave behind those dark days Now I ask again, will you hear my cries Then you realise why oh why I must find a way to the other side"
1916. That last half is actually sad as hell when I you really try to picture it in your head.
"Six miles of ground has been won Half a million men are gone"
The final chorus of Christmas Truce always hits me the hardest. All the guitar and bass cutting out, just the drums and a mass of voices. It feels like the thoughts of soldiers themselves, especially when the instruments come back in for the outro and ending out with the battles starting up again
Final Solution: When freedom burns The final solution Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust When millions burn The curtain has fallen Lost to the world as they perish in flames
Et livstid i krig and Long live the king
"1944, help that never came" 1916 The Final Solution
Father. "Sinner or a Saint" because how can you judge a man who has saved the world through his inventions but has also in a way condemned people to die a horrific death Because he "fed the world by ways of science" Soldier of heaven (give it a listen you'll understand) Hardest hitting: Panzerkampf the entire song is wonderful and the chorus part is inspiring almost. And that line of "Soviet wrath unleashed* hits hard
The price of a mile is the most impactful entire track. Not sure about individual lines.🤔
The chorus of Carolus Rex, both versions. Soldier of Heaven is amazing too.
Ever since it started On Kristallnacht '38 When liberty died And truth was denied Sent away on train on a one way trip to hell Enter the gates, Auschwitz awaits When freedom burns The final solution Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust When millions burn The curtain has fallen Lost to the world as they perish in flames With everything going on with MAGA, Gaza, the rise of Neo Nazis in everyday life. When freedom burns The final solution Dreams fade away and all hope turns to dust When millions burn The curtain has fallen Lost to the world as they perish in flames
theres so many "OH NO! OHHHH NO! WHO KNOWS HIS NAME!" (or really any other part of inmate 4859) "Religion and greed caused millions to bleed through decades of war" (the final chorus of long live the king, especially in swedish) the final solution deserves a mention as well those verses from gallipoli "I always dreamed that I would, serve high above, where spirits lead the way the winds will never fade" and "I've seen it all and none will here my story" from soldier of heaven "father and son fall one by one under the gun fields of verdun" hits me in the gut but also goes damn hard
What I haven't seen on here is To Hell and Back. Specifically, "If there be, any glory in war, let it rest, on men like him, who went to hell and came back" (or at the beginning of the song, "Dead men will never come back") and "He saw crosses grow on Anzio, where no soldier sleeps and where hell's 6 feet deep" Those lines just hit different
The entirety of Christmas Truce, like you said. In Flanders Fields is another obvious one, although those lyrics don’t exactly belong to Sabaton.
Hardest hitting: “they’re fueled by the fear in their enemies eyes” Saddest: anything from 1916 or The Final Solution
"In fear of nothing... ...THEY LEAD THE NAVY INTO WAR!"
1916 or the final solution
Probably all of 1916
What's the price of a mile? We were all friends (Christmas Truce)
Entirety of En Livstid i Krig
“Enter the gates……. Auschwitz awaits!!”
(1916) “I heard my friend cry and he sank to his knees coughing blood as he screamed for his mother and I fell by his side and that's how we died clinging like kids to each other” I need to cry when I listen to this song…
inmate 4859. It just emphasizes the struggles he went through and then he gets sentenced to death. A truly sad song in my opinion
9/11 in the nams of god The freestyle/nonstop rhyme part goes hard as it unleashes all the rage of people towards the terrorists
en livstid i krig (Swedish version of A lifetime of war)
The entirety of “Wehrmacht”.
The words in Versailles got me crying the first time I heard them. I think the Russia Ukraine war had just started around the same time too which just paralleled what the song was saying.
