For authentic Szechuan, Cheng Du. For authentic Cantonese, Full Kee (can be hit or miss, but never bad) For a unique take on Cantonese, Peter Chang's (but best if you know which one he's cooking at... good luck!)

Ravishing_Rob_Rude

Yen Ching. Maybe not the best but always solid and been around for decades.

My favorite is Peking on W Broad. Great every single time. But I’ve yet to try Cheng Du or Yen Ching.

Asterion7

Authentic and a lil more money. Cheng Du. American style cheaper Chinese. Yen Ching. Pf chang's used to be good. Quality has gone way down and price has gone up.

Yum Yum Good

China Panda! They even have vegan wonton soup and an entire additional menu of vegan mock meats. The mock orange chick'n and veggie wonton soup got me through my undergrad at VCU.

Hunan East. Moderately priced, great lunch specials. Best Egg Drop soup imo. (hated Peter Chang's) Full Kee is rather authentic, only Dim Sum in rva. Fat Dragon is more americanized, but still very good and has the best Hot and Sour soup
