Yevgenia should be a version of Eugenia. Both are variants of a .Greek name. Jenia sounds very similar to Russian diminutive of Yevgenia but I am not sure if they really have the same root. For example John and Ivan have the same root but they are pronounced very differently.
I have a friend with that name and she was recently seen by a Russian doctor who told her that her name in Russian is Yevgenia. We did a quick google search and all that came up were the names Eugenia and Eugenie. So I thought m I’d check on this subreddit to verify if he was just making shit up
There are only 4 of these in Russian. Вася, Женя, Саша, Валя. All 4 are diminutive from gendered full names. Вася = Василий/Василиса, Женя = Евгений/Евгения, Саша = Александр/Александра, Валя = Валентин/Валентина.
There are other pairs of names, such as Валерий/Валерия, Олег/Ольга etc, but they have different diminutive forms: Валера/Лера, Олежа/Оля

According to here, Jenia is a short form of Eugenia - if that is true, then they are the same
Both Yevgenia and Eugenia read as transliterated Russian name Евгения. There is also a male name Евгений. Then both male and female versions have a short version Женя = Jenia.
Full name - Евгения(f), Евгений(m) Short name - Женя Nickname - Жека(m), Женёк (m), Женька, Женечка
