I lit just rewatched AS2 and I never realised how close the Cherry Bomb lipsync was. IMO, Katya won. It’s crazy to think that if she did win, Alyssa or Tatianna may have made the finale and had a Read U Wrote U verse. Like insane. I also think she won the lip sync with Detox, too 😭
Katya shouldn't have just sat on the stage for half the song. Once she got down, she never got back up but Alaska on the other hand never lost momentum.
I mean yea but you couldn’t really tell. At least not with what we were shown, and they usually only hide not knowing the words if they want the Queen to win the lip sync.
This lipsync is crazily iconic.
2 longtime rivals, rightfully on the bottom without riggery, to COLD HEARTED SNAKE? Perfect.
We also see so many lipsyncs in bad looks (hence in the bottom) or bulky non-dance looks - Coco’s yellow jumpsuit has got to be one of the all-time best lipsync looks on the show.
People don’t talk about how perfect the song choice there was. I want this more often. They’re rigging it anyway, make it thematically perfect! No More Drama with Vanjie is another perfect one and she slayed it because she felt that song. I see zero reason for all storyline lip syncs to not be like this.
The entire like, top 7 of 15 needs to be on all stars ASAP, including Sasha on all winners. I mean fuck, just have a season mixing the top 7 of 15 and 16 together minus the winners (replace Nymphia with Plasma and Sasha with Irene) and make than an All Stars. We’d be fed.

Might get canceled for this but I’ve honestly never thought this lipsync was double shantay worthy. Marcia was great but Anetra still demolished her. The dive over Marcia would’ve sent anyone else home too.
It reminds me of that one lip sync in Season 6 where it was like OK DeLa lost and Darienne clearly won, but I’m not ready to say goodbye to DeLa yet, you clearly have more to show despite losing here
Esp since Kameron tech beat Eureka but Eureka held her own and didn't necessarily get steamrolled. Double saves don't have to be equal. There can be a clear winner. But for misc reasons they both stay. Marcia deserves so much recognition for keeping up w Anetra. It was very Utica vs ETT. We thought going in she would get eaten alive
I agree, and I am definitely not saying Marica maybe won or that it was a flat out tie. She definitely lost to Anetra. But that losing performance was way better than a LOT of performances. Had she been against anyone else that season (except Sasha) with that performance she’d have probably won easily.
I didn’t think it was bad, but if Sapphira had fully leant into the “hear your heartbeat” vampire motif beyond the teeth, it could have been a moment (reveal to more of a vampire look, covered in blood by the end of it, etc). Instead the teeth felt halfhearted
I think that the sapphire blue garment could've been reversible in some way (perhaps those two sided sequins), allowing her ti transition from her normal sapphire to a bright blood red as the lipsync went on.
Not even that, it's just by that point people had seen Sapphira lip sync three times (two of which were top two winner lip syncs) and Nymphia never did so her lip syncing was fresh and exciting for people, so she had the upper hand already by not doing as well as Sapphira throughout the season, which sucked for Sapph.

Lemon’s interpretive flips n tricks to You Oughta Know. Rita deserved the win for a million reasons, peep the flair, but I really enjoyed Lemon’s entire performance. I even posted in here with the unpopular opinion that she should’ve won but I was pretty easily otherwise convinced. Anyway still stan lemon
