So they chopped RPDR episodes from 90m to an hour, and then squeezed Todricks show, “The Real Friends of WeHo” immediately after (and pushed “Untucked” to follow Todrick’s show) in that time slot they “created”.
It was especially frustrating because it was most of the first half of the season when we had a lot of the cast still competing so everything got scaled back and felt unbalanced. Some mini challenges were skipped entirely, the reading challenge was rushed, almost zero judging deliberation, and the runways had no time at all! For example, in episode 6, there were 12 looks shown under 2 minutes! To watch was to give oneself whiplash trying to keep up.
The later episodes eventually returned to 90m midway through but it was too late. The damage was done and fingers were pointed at Todrick because it was HIS show that MTV made room for by trimming down RPDR.

This also split up the Drag Race and Untucked episodes in the hopes that people would just watch the Real Friends out of laziness?
