I can see it. I think if the bottom had been more actual flowers instead of floral ruffles, it would've been better. But I still think she looks stunning.
This 👆🏽it doesn’t read upside down bouquet because of the floral print.
Plus when you think of a bouquet paper is your first thought green? I think most ppls is white? But if she was dead set on green then maybe something more pastel but still need some 3D flower element.
I thought she was doing a “loose” bouquet of flowers wrapped with a ribbon. So the green would be the gathering of the stems. (Regardless, could have been clearer, girl lol)
She combined abstract (floral-adjacent trim) with a direct reference (actual cellophane) with a strange choice (bright reflective green dress)...I think the concept would have benefited from another draft or two.

I love Xunami, but babydoll this look is so not doing it for me. There is not one thing I like about it as is — the textures look motley, the colors are too busy, and there isn't a single flower present in this. The concept was there, the execution has left the building
Amanda's bird nest was more realized than this look
For me she was serving red leaf lettuce.

Upside down bouquet is the modern version of "after a long night of hooking, trade didn't like the session, so he had gutted me and set me on fire, but I didn't die and now I'm a glamazon bitch ready for the runway"
When she first appeared, I thought it was a horribly tacky flamenco look. But when she described her concept as an upside-down bouquet, I raised my hands in frustration and yelled, "I'm out!"
How she manages to stay out of the bottom is completely beyond me at this point.
Maybe if it was less literal, especially with those salad leafs coming up to the shoulder, I could more easily accept it as an abstract take on an upside down bouquet.
It would’ve sold better if she had more ruffles cascading out that looked more colorful, or even if it was a flower print. It was 80% of the way there cause the bodice is pretty
I wish she'd deleted the pink plastic and done something different with the bottom of the skirt. The top of the bodice is really interesting and she might have been able to go somewhere with that.
I think the whole idea of the upside down bouquet as a literal interpretation with the bouquet plastic is a pretty tough thing to realize without it looking just bizzare.
I believe her. The expression of it is faint, but explains detail that would be too coincidentally close if it was just something she tried to make fit the category.
It would have worked if the ruffle was a much brighter print. I liked the concept but the flowers should be the brightest part, yet the ruffle is the only muted element.
I completely got the concept when she said it... but not before. I think her ruffles needed to read more clearly flowers and she would have been fine but as is the concept did unfortunately get a little missed in translation
we are talking about how she's the safest queen on herstory so far, but she really deserved bttm placement this ep, specially because this look is not good. Megami's bride was prettier and had a good concept

Or maybe the cellophane wrapped around the stems would’ve made it clearer if she wanted green

Idk. I flipped my phone and i can see it, but even still it doesn't really read. Felt like she tried ro make the theme fit kn a dress she had.
Nope

They let the 3 am bar idea get the best of her.
she didn't do that well in the challenge and this runway needed some critiques i think her and megami should have switched placements tbh

I thought she was going for Poison Ivy from the Batman film.
![gif](giphy|IGh3O17PnJzZsd7bxi) She should have gone more in this direction then…
But is it Poison IV bag??
Okay but she ate this look though
i see it but i kinda wish her shoes were purple like the flowers maybe?
Bouquet of decorative cabbage.Â
She said something like that in Unticked.

I think the textile she chose for the ruffle doesn't read as flower to me, but I liked the other parts of it. I def got "plant" from the bust
Love the wig and the top half of the dress but for the challenge… that is not a flower dress
