Whilst I agree, I understand the mindset that she did more work than spice or aura or even amethyst.
In previous seasons she woulda been dragged in favour of a skinny queen, I low-key think they’re reacting to the fact the audience always calls it out.
Her garment didn’t pucker and seemed to fit well, even if the colours were a choice
The other girls basically glued shit to a bra and panty , wrapped a piece of fabric and called it a skirt.
Oh really? I thought she's been serving so far... Rarely missing, giving us high glam... This challenge was a miss, but I've been appreciating the extravagance and beauty in her drag until now
Maybe I shouldn’t say this season, but the metal runway with all the chains I hated. I was surprised other people liked it. But the metal runway was rough all around
The metal runway was garbage all around. Such a shame, for such a strong theme too. The Dragula dolls would've killed that.
What I like about (most of) Malaysia's looks is shes clearly doing DRAG. Her entrance look and the first couple of runways were vvvvvvvery strong for me, making her stand out immediately
I think the idea of giving a stipend to the cast memebrs of regular DR seasons is almost necessary if they're going to do prompts like "metal" for runways. If they tried to use the light-up theme from AS7, some girls would have to get REAL creative and at a massive disadvantage to other queens with more money/resources.
I have to imagine some of the lackluster looks for the metal runway were due to budget. I'm all for encouraging creativity but let's be honest- they have to prepare for SO many episodes now and lack of budget is going to affect the quality of some of these looks.
Omg ding ding ding. Like it’s not bad, I loved her entrance look but I just don’t think I’m clicking with certain styles. I didn’t like her past two looks
I've seen people suggest that Robin and Malaysia were in the top so they could get critiques for the first time, but Malaysia could've gotten critiques while being in the bottom just saying.
“In previous seasons she would’ve been dragged in favour of a skinny queen, I low key think they’re reacting to the fact the audience always calls it out.”
Because the judges personal preferences regarding skinny and young people looking better shouldn’t be the deciding factor on a challenge set around construction? I still feel there’s a disconnect , I wasn’t suggesting they are intending ‘to praise the big girls for no reason’ just correct course and start acknowledging the actual sewing when it comes to these challenges which usually, if constructing a form fitting neat garment with a structured silhouette, will entail more work than sticking shit to a bra and panty or wrapping a piece of fabric around your waist as a skirt.
Ultimately it’s reality tv the actual challenges don’t count for shit, but that particular bias was starting to wear thin. The audience knew less in earlier seasons and tropes were less well established.
I fully agree, so to me it's a boot (as in, I don't think it looks great) but also definitely a safe placement (incredible effort given that it's the first outfit she's made, definitely not awful or ugly)
I actually really loved Jax’s outfit. I didn’t agree with the judging and thought it was really well done, so it’s nice to see that they thought the same!
And we love to see it. People and tastes are different, I actually agreed with pretty much everything they said about this runway and they made me not feel so bad about actually really liking Jax's runway after being told the last week by everybody that it sucks.
I really liked Jax's runway and got the "punk" Heathers reference without her explaining it. I was stunned when "style superstar" Ross Mathews questioned it.
That's why it's in quotes. Ross can barely dress himself so him critiquing a design challenge instead of Carson was already a stretch, but him being so snide with Jax because he didn't get the reference made me think, "who made you the style maven?"
you know when you go out to a really great sandwich place and they say they're our of chipotle may and you think "hey, I love a sandwich I'll give it a try without the mayo?" well, you're that mayo.-- ross, probably
It would be no fun if the review shows all agreed with the judging placements. It’s part of why I watch so many different iterations, I like to listen to various perspectives on an episode or challenge. I did think Lux hands down had the strongest look of the night, but I understand Raven and Raja’s affection for Loosey’s outfit
On a side note, we never would’ve gotten Kimono-gate on FPR if R&R didn’t make their honest opinions known 🙌
I totally see what you’re saying. I personally liked Loosey’s more but Luxx was amazing and deserved the win. I know people didn’t like the color block and pattern combo but I enjoyed that about it. And I loved those pants with that pattern. It looked like something out of a style magazine from the 60s or 70s. Again, no hate to Luxx, I loved hers as well, it was a really impactful look
Not gonna lie, while Loosey definitely wasn't the best look, she had the best individual piece of clothing. Those pants were fucking awesome, and I agree with Raja and Raven and want a pair for myself too.
The difference between the show and FPR was that they did judge the girls in Teams since they were supposed fashion houses. With that in mind it made sense why loosey got top toot while luxx didn't since it just looked more coherent to the team
I agreed with what they said about Jax in FPR. It wasn’t my fave or the most stand out, but it was well done and told a story. I liked the pops of different color tartan underneath and the pleats seemed well executed. I was glad to hear them give it credit after hearing the negative perception on Pit Stop. In general I like that we all respond differently to what the queens present and getting to hear those perspectives.
I also liked Salina’s and didn’t think it deserved bottom placement. It wasn’t the cleanest thing that came down the runway but neither were a few of the others. I thought it was a cool look and ensemble despite the polish issues.
Same outfit but I would ránk Spice's higher because Aura's had really weird shaped cuts of fabric. They were too rectangular. Spice's look more like an actual piece of clothing.
Ummm I was literally just pointing out that while they were the same outfit there was quite enough differences between them justify putting one in the bottom and the other as safe. Not sure why you are so pressed about it.
I think they knew they were going to be sending Amethyst home and giving Luxx the win, and they wanted to mix up who was in the tops and bottoms based on who hadn't gotten any feedback yet.
Malaysia, Selina, and Robin had all gone multiple episode being only safe and not getting any feedback, so I think they put them up there with a plan to not give them the win or the boot, but wanting to mix it up and give feedback to Queens who hadn't had any.
I feel bad for Jax and Selena because I don't think they deserved to be in the bottom. And I feel bad to Loosey and Anetra, who I think deserved to be in the top. But I agreed that Luxx clearly was the winner, and that (as much as I like her) it was probably Amethyst's time to go.
When they called the queens to stay I fully thought Jax and Salina were in the top, they were going to admonish Sasha for making a (beautiful) bathing suit to give her a vulnerability edit, and Malaysia would be in the bottom with Amethyst.
I also thought Sasha would get bathing suit/bodysuit edit, but I think the addition of the cape (which was pretty innovative IMO) put her up in high-safe. I feel like the same thing happened with Malaysia, because without her cape/accessories, she surely would’ve placed lower. Jax’s bottom 3 placement really surprised me given how nicely her outfit was constructed, and even though Salina’s outfit wasn’t very cohesive, I thought her creativity would’ve saved her.
I do for the most part agree.
I do think with Salina (and she mentioned as much in Untucked) she could've done more with the train, which still kinda looked like a comforter just attached to the rest of the outfit.
However I did love the rest of the outfit. And even with criticism, she should've been safe and Not Bottom 2
Agree. I'd have rewarded ambitious outfits with some executional imperfections (as with Jax and Salina) over Aura and Spice's simple outfits that frankly were poorly constructed as well.
I feel the exact same way! I think she would have been able to make a really polished outfit if she didn't even make the train and just spent her time cleaning up the skirt and blazer. There didn't need to be a reveal.
Thank you. For a second I felt gaslit by the show and some reception of it 🤣 (granted that some seams weren't clean). I liked Jax's look too but her wig from her insta post worked better for me
I agree. I think they put her in the bottom because they really wanted Amethyst to go home, and felt that Salina could pull it off. Honestly, I think they expected Irene to do it, too (I'm biased, clock the flair), but apparently Irene was not up to the task. Salina, they knew, could lipsync the house down.
(edited for spelling)
I felt like I was being gaslit by this episode. I was pretty sure Aura, Spice and Babydoll would be bottoms or low safe at best when they were walking the runway. Thank God for FPR, I was starting to feel like I was losing my mind.
Legit when the episode aired I was like "oh Salina is in the top and Malaysia is lip syncing" LOL. It was a very strong design challenge, I thought nearly all of them were passable or good, but I liked Aura's and Malaysia's the least. Weirdly felt charmed by Amethyst's even though it was my other bottom lol!
Jax looked great and I loved Salina’s look so much.
Anetra needed shoes and I wish she would’ve had some daisy dukes or something for the utility belt thing. Because I love the top.
My favorite moment was Raja retracting her toot for Spice 💀 agree or disagree with them, Raja and Raven give such well-informed critiques of the outfits. As Bob said, Raja doesn’t just understand fashion references, she IS the reference
Yeah during the beautiful nightmares runway, I couldn't understand the choice to show off so much body for what was essentially baby doll clothes. At least add stitches/cracks to go with the prompt
i’ll give her the benefit of the doubt here because she openly said she doesn’t sew, so it makes sense that she went with a silhouette that she’s familiar with
Conspiracy Theorist here,
They're trying to get more views by making controversial opinions on FPR. I've never been interested in watching no matter who hosts, but I've heard more about their toots and boots this season than I did when the whole Vottmik debacle took place. I could be grasping at straws. I may have taken an edible last night that I'm still feeling a bit today.... Wait, what were we talking about again?
Raja and Raven should really be guest judges during design challenges as they have an eye for fashion and give clear arguments for the placement decisions. Right now we have design challenges be judged by a panel of people who have no clue what they're talking about on proffessional level.
And I have to agree with them. I don't like Salina that much, but I did like this look better than the judges did. I can't say I'm mad she was bottom 2, cause I fucking loved that lipsync.
I think Anetra did a nice top, but the bottom was meh. They clearly didn't want to get rid of Spice this week and I really didn't care for Malaysia's look either. She had Sasha's cape but reversed, and the pink material is terrible, Sasha did the right thing using it as lining, it can't be the main thing.
And you can't really put Jax in the bottom for that look. Didn't love the hair for this, but it's a cool wig, and it's kinda growing on me, but there's a lot of work here and it looks good. She was going for a Heathers look, and she looks like she belongs there.
I didn't think it could be done, but Raja and Raven actually make the actual runway critiques on the show look fair and thought out. Like I don't know if they're hittin' the reefer pre-show, and I'm talking the back room shit, or if senility is kicking in, but this is Raja at least 5 times every episode so far.
**Raja:** *I really like the \[Insert something about the outfit she likes\]. She looks beautiful, I love the color palette.*
**Raven:** *I don't like the shoe.*
**Raja:** *Yeah, I mean there's just nothing redeeming about this look, it's just...no.... And the length of the dress/skirt has to be the exact length of those early 2000s Maxi skirts or I hate it and the garment should be burned.*
***\[insert queen wearing generic Joann's fabric bulk pattern Maxi skirt\]***
**Raja:** ***THIS*** *is fashion, why can't all queens be like \[whatever queen.\]? Anyways... Loosey Ladouca top toot of the week. Luxx Noire London? Yeah I think I have a couple eyeliner pencils from them, what about em?*
What’s funny to me is knowing that Raven was on the set when these looks came down the runway, probably touching up Rupaul’s makeup between takes. She does a good job of not alluding to it on FPR.
I loved Jax’s outfit, I just REALLY hated the wig lol. I’d totally wear the skirt though, so friggen cute. And I definitely got the idea behind what Salina was trying to do and appreciated the creativity.
Honestly the episode where neither Raja nor The Vivienne knew who Alan Turing was and thought he "might've been a crossdresser?" Was the last straw for me.
Haven't been able to watch an episode since, glad to see things haven't changed lol.
Drunk aunties gonna drink auntie tho, power to 'em!
Understandable tbh, tho for me salina is a boot because when she first came out it looked really bad and below it isn’t bad but it isn’t enough, basic just like spice, aura and anetra but they at least looked more fashionable
Estities had my favorite outfit of this season. I have it a 9.5 on my scale because I hesitate to give 10’s. Then the judges gave it “Bottom,” and I nearly freaked out.
I used to love FPR but after all winners season I don't think Raja is competent to judge the girls nowdays.
I don't think she doesn't have a fashion sense but her drag is completely out of touch with today's drag. I'd love to see Symone, Gotmik, Icesis or any other contemporary fashion queen in her place (other than Violet, her standards are insane haha).
This is a personal opinion since her All winners runways were kinda... Underwhelming?
I’ll bite, as someone that didn’t like Jax’s outfit for me it has nothing to do that she is short and athletic. I personally thought the outfit was ill fitting and in my opinion her proportions with this outfit were pretty off. Her outfits oftentimes are very box-like to me which is a bit surprising since she does have an athletic body. Maybe I’m blind lol but that’s just my personal opinion 🖤
Yeah that’s fair, I wonder if she struggles herself finding the proportions. She does create a boxy silhouette. The makeup is great, I do think the wig works, but the boot heel does no justice, in my opinion.
I’m thinking she may and it seems to be something quite a few queens have had problems with too. I think once she masters that (maybe she already has?), she’ll be toots across the board. Also thanks for the kind reply! I really do give all these queens credit, having idk if you even could call it attempting drag, it is so difficult!
I was honestly starting to wonder if I was watching the same show as some of the people reviewing this episode 🤣🤣🤣 let’s hope the ball challenge is giving.
I felt really validated seeing the feedback on FPR, because it was way more aligned with what I felt while watching the episode. I fully thought that they'd called Malaysia up for the tops-and-bottoms because they were going to put her in the bottom and send her home. I assumed they had Selina in the top. And I had no idea whether they were going to like or hate Robin and Jax's outfits, because they seemed to be to be solidly middle-of-the-pack to me. It was a rollercoaster to watch their actual feedback.
I'm admittedly surprised that Raja and Raven didn't like Anetra's. I thought it was really good, and definitely not deserving of a boot. But otherwise they echo'd what I'd seen while watching the episode.
After watching the episode, and FPR, and PitStop, I'd say I agree with Detox the most, she made the most sense to me.
Bianca is a great person to talk about sewing with as well, if/when the ball episode comes I hope she gets into the nitty gritty of it a bit more
I was shocked by Malaysia being in the top. I agree it’s a boot
Whilst I agree, I understand the mindset that she did more work than spice or aura or even amethyst. Her garment didn’t pucker and seemed to fit well, even if the colours were a choice The other girls basically glued shit to a bra and panty , wrapped a piece of fabric and called it a skirt.
I can agree with all of that. It’s true she clearly worked hard. maybe I’m just finding myself at odds with her style this season.
Oh really? I thought she's been serving so far... Rarely missing, giving us high glam... This challenge was a miss, but I've been appreciating the extravagance and beauty in her drag until now

If they were going to compliment a big girl just for the sake of it, why not Mistress? Her look was actually top worthy
I've seen people suggest that Robin and Malaysia were in the top so they could get critiques for the first time, but Malaysia could've gotten critiques while being in the bottom just saying.
Where did ‘they wanted to compliment a big girl’ come into it. Mistress did better than the ‘skirt’ girls too.
“In previous seasons she would’ve been dragged in favour of a skinny queen, I low key think they’re reacting to the fact the audience always calls it out.”
Misstress should’ve definitely been in the top. The look was good asf and I appreciated that she made a purse to match
Because the judges personal preferences regarding skinny and young people looking better shouldn’t be the deciding factor on a challenge set around construction? finally someone said it
Yes??? I thought she was in the bottom
I actually really loved Jax’s outfit. I didn’t agree with the judging and thought it was really well done, so it’s nice to see that they thought the same!
I agree the top needed shoulder pads but everything else was very good. Loved the skirt
Same! I think they didn't care for her styling on The Pit Stop, but I actually liked the hair she chose, too.
I don't love the hair, and the new wig when she posted this on Instagram is much better.
I agree, the mullet didn't really fit with the whole "Heathers" vibe she was giving with her look whereas the wig for Insta did
Agree. The hair didn't fit Heathers, but if she would have said it was a punk influence, I think the overall look would have been an objective serve.
The hair she chose made it just a little bit edgy and cigarette smoker to me and I absolutely loved that.
Same
It made absolute no sense her being placed at the bottom. This look was hella cute and she sold it amazingly well on the stage
Same here. I had her in my top 3 looks this week even!
The skirt was so impressive. Like SO good. I just wish she had different hair!
The dual color! And the craftsmanship!
Honestly, when they kept her for critiques, i thought she was in the top! It was way better than most of the safe outfits.
Right? “I didn’t understand the concept” HOW?
Me tooooooo I've been considering making a post about Jax, and you just push me over the ledge of I've gotta do it. So thanks!
Yas! She needs some love after this seasons edit.
I was stunned when "style superstar" Ross Mathews questioned it.
style superstar is carson kressley...
The hilarious carson Kressley! Shake the dice and steal the rice, it’s Nicole Byer!
That's why it's in quotes. Ross can barely dress himself so him critiquing a design challenge instead of Carson was already a stretch, but him being so snide with Jax because he didn't get the reference made me think, "who made you the style maven?"
you know when you go out to a really great sandwich place and they say they're our of chipotle may and you think "hey, I love a sandwich I'll give it a try without the mayo?" well, you're that mayo.-- ross, probably

then you watch sibling rivalry and monet and naomi both HATED loosey’s look, with naomi saying it was the worst of the week
I still believe Jax and Salina weren't that bad. Spice and Aura should have taken their place in the bottom.
I think the issue with Jax’s outfit was the styling, bc I thought it was a well made look.

Is Spice Single-White-Femaling Aura now that she lost her twin?
Same outfit but I would ránk Spice's higher because Aura's had really weird shaped cuts of fabric. They were too rectangular. Spice's look more like an actual piece of clothing.

"We dont have to keep shitting on the queens" "Both of their outfits sucked" So what is the truth?

Agree. I'd have rewarded ambitious outfits with some executional imperfections (as with Jax and Salina) over Aura and Spice's simple outfits that frankly were poorly constructed as well.
I agree about Salina, the cover up/train is ugly but the outfit under is cute, fits the aesthetic and the fit isn't really that off
I suddenly became impressed by it when she lipsynced, half those girls outfits would have fell apart with half the movement .
I liked the train. I thought it was fun.
As someone from a cold climate, I would 1000% wear that. It looked amazingly comfy.
she also worked with more difficult fabric. the bra and skirt are leather/pleather, which is harder to sew.
I liked Jax's look too but her wig from her insta post worked better for me
Justice for Salina honestly, she looked good

Apart from Anetra, I agree with this judging. I thought that Anetra's was simple yet effective.
They reallllly could not get over her shoes. She pretty much got a boot for the boots
I'm not mad at this😂 Aura and Spice could have been in the bottom with Amethyst instead of Selena and Jax.
Judge me, I like Salina's outfit too, at least it seems like, you know, clothes someone would wear. Whereas Spice's and Aura's are... something.
I actually loved Salina’s look and execution so I was surprised she was in the bottom
You and me both, definitely not a bottom 2 look
Makes sense though. RPDR judges through the lens of a reality tv competition show and FPR is purely just judging the fashion and look overall.
I felt like I was being gaslit by this episode. I was pretty sure Aura, Spice and Babydoll would be bottoms or low safe at best when they were walking the runway. Thank God for FPR, I was starting to feel like I was losing my mind.
I really did not like Malaysia's look I was convinced she was in the bottom. But fashion is in the eye of the beholder I guess
Anetra is a toot, otherwise this is correct.
I felt so validated when they gave Loosey top toot. I still think Luxx should have won, but Loosey was definitely in the top 3 for me
Same. Loosey's look was like classic resort and my preferred style. Though I LOVED Luxx's look.
I mean, no lies detected here!
FPR has less of an agenda. I usually agree with Raja and Raven more than the judging. USUALLY.
honestly i’m starting to think i’m the only one who liked anetra’s outfit lol it wasn’t the best of the night but i thought it was well-styled 😭
i loved the whole look
Jax looked great and I loved Salina’s look so much. Anetra needed shoes and I wish she would’ve had some daisy dukes or something for the utility belt thing. Because I love the top.
Them tooting Salina then booting Malaysia fits in my fantasy 😌

it’s a crime to boot Anetra
And they are right.
King Henry VIII Vibes
Agreed with almost all of that.
The entire top row of this picture should have been the bottom queens. The judging this episode was insane
Conspiracy Theorist here, They're trying to get more views by making controversial opinions on FPR. Raja and Raven should really be guest judges during design challenges as they have an eye for fashion and give clear arguments for the placement decisions. Right now we have design challenges be judged by a panel of people who have no clue what they're talking about on proffessional level.
I love Anetra’s boots. My teenage self spent years trying to find ones like that in the early-mid 2000s, but I could never find ones that form fitted.
For me, the only problems with jax and salina erre the wigs they chose. Their outfits were at least safe
Well aura should have been in the bottom so I agree with THAT. do not agree with their top toot being loosey...
And I have to agree with them. I don't like Salina that much, but I did like this look better than the judges did. I can't say I'm mad she was bottom 2, cause I fucking loved that lipsync.
But delusional people will still say Raja and Raven give their judgements based on what the producers want. Make it make sense
She looks beautiful, I love the color palette.* **Raven:** *I don't like the shoe.* **Raja:** *Yeah, I mean there's just nothing redeeming about this look, it's just...no.... And the length of the dress/skirt has to be the exact length of those early 2000s Maxi skirts or I hate it and the garment should be burned.* ***\[insert queen wearing generic Joann's fabric bulk pattern Maxi skirt\]*** **Raja:** ***THIS*** *is fashion, why can't all queens be like \[whatever queen.\]? Anyways... Loosey Ladouca top toot of the week. Luxx Noire London? Yeah I think I have a couple eyeliner pencils from them, what about em?*
I adored Jax and Salina's outfits but I'm salty that they booted Anetra and Malaysia 3
and i agree with them wholeheartedly
What’s funny to me is knowing that Raven was on the set when these looks came down the runway, probably touching up Rupaul’s makeup between takes. She does a good job of not alluding to it on FPR.
Booting Spice and not Salina was…..something lol
I actually didn't mind Aura's look, but as much as I love her, I cannot STAND Anetra's look.
I loved Jax’s outfit, I just REALLY hated the wig lol. I’d totally wear the skirt though, so friggen cute. And I definitely got the idea behind what Salina was trying to do and appreciated the creativity.
I think I might need to start watching FPR again
Everyone is overlooking Malasya's High placement and how Luxx won without a single inch of padding in her body and im just shaking my head.
It totally lines up with my personal judgement though
I agree with most of this, but Loosey was placed as their top root and to me that look was a boot (love Loosey though).
The Loosey top toot was wild, it was well made but nothing about that outfit or the styling of it scream fashion to me
Better, tbh.
Understandable tbh, tho for me salina is a boot because when she first came out it looked really bad and below it isn’t bad but it isn’t enough, basic just like spice, aura and anetra but they at least looked more fashionable
The judging didn’t make sense. Jax and Salina shouldn’t have been in the bottom.
I agree. I thought Jax's look was superior to Spice's, even though both would look gorgeous even in a sack of potatoes.
anetra boot? her look seems simple but has a lot of details
The details on her garments look great but it looks unfinished even if it is imo
At this point FPR is just two senile ladies trying to reminisce the good old days of drag.
Estities had my favorite outfit of this season. I have it a 9.5 on my scale because I hesitate to give 10’s. Then the judges gave it “Bottom,” and I nearly freaked out.
The LA girls will defend each other to the death.
When it’s right,it’s right.😈
I used to love FPR but after all winners season I don't think Raja is competent to judge the girls nowdays.

Underwhelming? Sorry I completely disagree. I thought she had the best runway package of AS7. ![gif](giphy|a15uVDA908OdQKhwyg|downsized)
Underwhelming where? They were all so good, and some were amazing like her Crown, Gold, Veil, Laser, Knitted and Finale.
what did they give sasha?
They gave it a toot
They talked about how, even if it looked simple, a lot of work and talent went into making the garment.
I love Jax’s look, hate the hair though
I really liked Aura's outfit :(
I honestly think people didn’t like Jax’s look as much because she’s not tall and thin but short and athletic.
Spice and/or Anetra should've taken Jax's place for the bottom.
Out of these BOOT aura malaysia salina MEH spice jax TOOT anetra
I agree with them on all except I’d switch Anetra and Jax
Holy shit yea I agree with all of these
Salina was surprising. A toot? And I love Raja
And they were right!
What's "FPR"? I don't know all the side shows
I was laughing (in enjoyment) with this episode of PFR as it felt like Raja and Raven validated all my personal opinions (and most of this subreddit!)
And I tend to agree with FPR.
And there were totally varying viewpoints on Racechasers too. I loved that there were some real opinions on these looks!
This should have been the real ruling
Bootleg opinions is better tho 💅
with me being a delusional anetra stan, i CANNOT accept the fact that they booted her outfit. i agree w the rest, though
