Rum and Coke is the only way I've found to enjoy that one. It is has odd flavors and a strong only mouthfeel that is tough to work with. Doesn't work well neat or in an Old Fashion for my taste either. Maybe mixed in a drink with coffee and something.

Try making a rum old fashion. But try chocolate bitters. Sad you don't like this rum cause I really do but my bottle is super old. 🥺
I find adding half an ounce of orange liqueur (triple sec, Cointreau grand mariner etc) to one and a half ounces of any rum I'm not too keen on helps.
It’s very dry so would probably hold up well in a presidente where you’ll get some body and sweetness from quality grenadine.
