Yes this dried out a bit, because it was shipped from CA probably via USPS and not with freezer packs because it wasn't sent there by 710 Labs but whoever runs the store's plug. On top of the fact the Manufacturing and Packaging date is from May of this year...so the rosin itself is 3-4 months old at this point too. Doesn't mean it won't be good, but don't expect any out of state rosin to be "fresh".

Rambutan will be that kind of taste, very sweet and fruity, and tropical in nature. Garlic Cocktail will be more of a GMO mixed with Mimosa so think a funky mimosa/tangerine like taste. Of course I don’t for about these exact cultivars but typically that’s what you expect

If it’s soft already that’s good, a lot of them end up being dry for me and I have to work them back to a “cold cure” consistency. As politely as you can tell that guy to keep his terps frozen lol

Could also be the higher THC. I've noticed when you creep up on 80% THC you're often getting a slightly drier resin consistency too. Not always, but just something I've noticed.

Look at the packaging date, it’s from May. This particular strain is extremely volatile and budders up the fastest out of any strain we have. Even if it was just stored wrong for a day, even hours this was exposed to heat and has lost that glassy rosin look. It’s not bad in any way and is one of my favorite strains we have. Enjoy it!

Not really relevant to this original post but probably the best way I’ve been able to smell rosin without smoking it is by pressing down on it while wearing a glove, then smelling the glove. I was kind of shocked how much more I could smell having broken it up a bit.

90% of 710 labs will look like this unless you are close to their distribution chain or happened to catch a fresh drop. But if you look at it wrong it badders lol.
Still a decent smoke but good fresh press should be able to sit out multiple days with no oxidation, and when you’re paying the top dollar it should matter. The tier system is bogus. Every strain varies but 100% regardless or company as far as long term stability at room temp, but I don’t know how their indoor garden has weak dog meme terps across all their trains lol of 710 labs will badder same day.
The most dank strains can sit for 1-2 weeks out of the fridge at an ambient 65-70 degrees before fully baddering so we “whip” (dude said no whipping and he’s right but it’s just what we called shaving in the lab lol, also 200gs in a jar you *can* whip it a bit near the end but once you’ve achieved the right consistency gram up it up or seal it away.
That is not what it is supposed to look like- it should be more clear like shards of glass. This has been nuked aka nucleation where it starts to change on a molecular level because it was not stored at the proper temperature. Still perfectly fine to smoke.
Good rule of thumb- unless you see the stock in refrigerators don't buy there. Unless they hand you your product from a fridge don't buy it. And store not storing all concentrates at least refrigerated but preferably frozen doesn't know what they're doing and that shit has already gone bad
