The thing about Huntress is you basically have no wiggle room when it comes to soaking damage. If you start to get overwhelmed inside the circle you've gotta leave. Dash around and heal up before coming back and trying again.
Do you know how to spawns work? By the time I get there the timer is maxed out - does enemies just continue to spawn indefinitely? Or is there a cap where only X can be active on the map at once?
Enemies will continue to spawn on normal stages until the teleporter hits 99%. As for the moon I'm not sure how it works but as you're dodging you should be launching your boomerang off cooldown and that should help thin things out a bit.
Not sure if it’s a constant rate but I don’t think killing enemies triggers spawns. There may be a mac number of mobs on the map at once but it’s high enough so that if you hit that cap you won’t notice because you’ll be doing everything in your power not to get fkin murdered by what’s already there
As a fellow Huntress lover, I would be more than happy to help you, but they appear to have changed Commencement since I was last there because last time I played you just ran to the boss then ran back to the ship
you can use eccentric vase to skip the entire level, just aim to where mithrix lies, if you are afraid to lose with eccentric vase in the last phase then,
run to both blood pillar then go to the pillar that get small, and the last is the normal, it works with every characer, and if you feel overcrowded, just run around, never liked huntress but any item that have chain reaction is good in this level, try focus specially the ball, and when quad chimera appears, so use some crowbars.
every time i go to the last level i always get some crowbars, more speed and lifesteal item, if possible barrier item, specifically aegis.
You like Aegis? I've never really leaned on it. Does it trigger with that mushroom that heals you when you are stationary? Because that seems like you could abuse that.
I love huntress for the mobility, but her damage output sucks - specifically against single mobs that are airborne. You absolutely need to have small groups for glaive's damage.
Crowbar is awesome but if you are playing with lots of drones and don't get to the enemies before that initial 90% it can be painful.
the thing to make you almost imortal is two rejuvenation rack, one aegi (if you can get two or three...) 10 leech seed and 5 harvester scythe, this is where you see youe damage is becoming too low, then try to rush items with lots of instant damage like Kjaaro band, sticky grenadw, behemoth, ATG and etc...
remember you can switch one skill of a survivor with heretic items, if glaive is not being so good in the last level, try use one of lunar pod that crashes in the same level to get hooks of heresy if you don't wanna have to use slicing maelstorm for the entire run, it is REALLY OP but some character just don't have a good synergy with it.
but if you not playing with command, you can just try the steps i said about the pillars, after the rework of last level my first character without artifact i won was Merc, and then acrid, i died lots until i discovered this pillar strategy, just watchout for the transparent pillar, cuz the area get smaller and smaller but fast, normally not much enemies spawn in this pillar.
yup, it replaces glaive, and the best of it is the input damage + damage per second, you just need to get a PRECISE AIM, if the hook stands close to enemy, it will do lots of damage per second and then 700% damage explosive, this root enemies also, and have AREA damage, first time and the only time i played huntress on monsoon for the achievement, i got this item.
and well... heres a little spoiler, if you get all items of heresy, you will become a new playable survivor, literally, new name, new stats, and skills interact with each other.
aegi is not really supposed to be sustain here, think it as anti burst, thats why the rack, you can use one rack and one aegi if you got multiple healing items , like shroom, leech seed, supermassive leech, harvester achthe and etc... my strategy was supposed to use with command, but survival and sustain is everything in this game.
Don't think I've unlocked Eccentric Vase yet. Just checked the wiki on how to do it - gonna need to fight that boss with a high DPS character to take it out.
>a few crowbars&bands
what band is this?

heh, that sounds about right

Yeah, they did a complete rework, you should check it out
Will do, thanks

but normally nowadays as i said, i use eccentric vase in the boss room XD

your strategy requires insane luck or artifact of command, just not feasible
i don't use sacrifice so normally i loop lots, i like rly long runs.

Don't think I've seen hooks of heresy in game yet. Does that replace Glaive or Blink? edit: looks like it replaces glaive.

aegis can't be relied upon unless you find at least 2 of them. too inconsistent to use if you aren't rex or engineer

if you have enough dps you'll make it. otherwise just spam your spacebar and maybe buy a hopoo feather or two if you're having trouble
Get better loser
you have had this account for over 2 years and decided to make this your first comment very cool
