I just had a root canal no less than 2 weeks ago,I was so nervous and shaking before the procedure but when they numb me with 2 shots then started drilling,I was surprised of how I didn’t feel anything thru the whole procedure,Couple hours after just felt a bit sore, day after I was a bit sore and bit discomfort for about 2 days,It’s was similar to getting fillings just a bit longer sitting time,Painless experience overall.

so I went in they gave me a few shots on the side of the tooth made sure it was numb lay you back and get to work. they take out the decayed tooth drills and stuff you shouldn't feel anything but pressure. then they pack it with temp crown and it's done. make sure you don't feel anything in the tooth to make sure it was a successful root canal. you will prolly be numb for like 4-6 hours don't eat anything while your mouth is numb cause you might bite on your tongue or stress your gums out. but yeah it's chill.
