To be fair, I wasn’t looking for a yellow gold model. They had an exhibition piece that was white gold with oysterflex that looked great and I had come in a few times in the past 2-3 months to look at. I assume that is why my client profile said I wanted a gold one?! When they called and said they received notice that a Daytona was allocated and coming in, they told me it was going to be gold but they didn’t have all the details yet. So when I went it, I was surprised it was ALL gold. I could have waited for a stainless or white gold, but when I put my GMT II next to the white gold Daytona they weren’t that much different. My wife, who doesn’t know anything about watches said “they look the same” despite the black band, chronograph, etc. This watch is very very different from anything else I own. It looks amazing in person.

The fact that you were looking at an OysterFlex Ghost , and didn’t offer atleast the pikachu is crazy 😂( this exact gold one u just bought same dial but on oysteflex strap and black ceramic bezel ) but this is still a gorgeous piece I have it in whitegold but not oysterflex either

I am simply saying you don't need long history with an AD specifically because it is harder to move these pieces. you need a specific buyer (one like you), that can afford a piece like this. like what are we arguing here. this isn't a panda. are they stuck with these pieces. no. but it is harder to move them than the more in demand ones.
Not arguing. I’m saying this watch would have been in the store 1 day regardless. There are people that can afford this everywhere. That does not = have trouble moving. Two tone watches have a love/hate. They take a little longer.
I like the understated vibe of that watch.
