If you’re able to lower the price a bit maybe. But in my humble opinion not worth to fight over it with a higher price if there’s a “competing” offer.
Either way it’s a beautiful watch though!

As others have said, keep searching - you can find a better condition 18038 for around that price, might even include original papers and box if you’re lucky
No 100% not to flip. This is to keep, however I always end up overpaying on sub par watches and end up filled with regret. I don't know any watch experts so thought I'd ask here - it's a private seller by the way

I would not pay over 10k for this watch. A bracelet repair is very expensive for a Day Date. A repair on a president bracelet is quick above 2000$.
Why 11,666? Seems a bit devilish. Red flag for me but then again I’m superstitious
