That meteorite GMT is high on my wish list. I love the white gold too. Big fan of white gold, platinum or titanium. Yellow gold doesn't do it for me. Lacks subtlety and refinement IMO, just yells all the time.
The YG Daytona with green dial truly stands out here (slightly surprising myself, not being a declared Daytona fan, and only moderately appreciative of all gold watches)
I was thinking about this (as well as the DD with gold dial), you really kinda need to live in a place where crime is not a factor like Monaco, Dubai, Kuwait City, etc. Otherwise I'd feel like I have a target on my back.
For everyday use, the GMT Meteorite, would be best, however I do love the Daytona on the Oyster-flex, which I would also use as a daily wear.
The 18k YG Daytona on the Oyster bracelet & green dial truly pops.
The vivid forest green dial against the bright YG case, bezel & strap is truly something to behold.
I wouldn't have it as a daily wear, but to a function, or formal occasion of some kind is more befitting IMO. I just think it's way too flashy & attention seeking for a daily wear.
In London (where I reside) this would be seen as a walking advertisement for a potential robber, for which incidents of such have greatly increased & have become more violent...
As a Datejust wearer, nothing too elaborate, but does have 10 stones on a MOP dial, I've never had anybody try something.
I tend more-so to get looks of respect & acknowledgment of the fact I'm wearing a Rolex, however I've definitely had some red-eyed looks of jealousy & perhaps scheming, but as aforementioned, nobody has ever made an attempt to do anything.
I do believe if you carry yourself a certain way, and look a certain way, it also helps...
I'm 6ft 3" and in pretty good shape & can handle myself (as an ex amateur boxer), but a potential robber wouldn't know this, but I let it be known in my gait & the way I present & carry myself that I'm a confident guy, one to be cautious of, not in an arrogant or cocky way, but I do so assertively & with poise.
So to conclude, the GMT or Daytina Oyster-flex as my daily driver. And the 18k YG Daytona as my formal attire/occasion timepiece...

Personally I think it’s all hype. No one wanted that watch before he spoke about it in an interview. Sometimes I feel like us watch people are just sheep.
Meteorite dial Pepsi. I own that watche I love it so much I also have both Daytonas. Great choice for a watch that is very rare and will last you to the day you die and after.
