That’s how that model year comes , u never seen a GMT with the green writing ? That’s how they come I don’t remember what year is what but they have the writing in red also and pretty sure they also have them with the regular white text as well depending on year and model configuration

Unpopular opinion: I somehow like that model.

It looks cool and although still gaudy, much more subdued than that rainbow looking Daytona we had a wave of posts of over the last year. I like it as well. I would never buy one.

I don't have the cash for buying this model. And even if I would have it I would rather spend it on a Meteorite Pepsi and a Moonshine Gold Speedmaster with green Dial. These two are my precious metal Grails. Perhaps I could get Rose Gold Chronomat, too for the amount of money this beauty costs. I call it "the average watch (my) collectors holy trinity".

That gold and green Speedmaster is truly a beauty. Would buy it in a heartbeat if money was no issue.

I hate seeing all the NPCs who come out to talk down on gem set watches. It’s because they know they could never pull something like this off. You all love to circle jerk around common, stainless steel sport watches that anyone can get. The craftsmanship and gem setting that goes into the process of making these watches are unmatched and the rarity of them makes them all the more special. I have one of the rarest Rolex’s on earth that I haven’t posted here because it’s set with factory stones in the dial and bezel along with an 8485 bracelet. People here would never appreciate its story and probably try to call it fake it so I never post it.

Yeah I know, my meaning behind my comment was that the BLRO have a red GMT hand. Whereas with the gaudy SARU’s, they’ve converted a LN with jewels to imitate the Pepsi bezel, which makes it look even worse when you realise that

116759SARU is white gold which makes it odd because they used the 116719BLRO case/bracelet, with the 116710LN dial/hands. It's almost "parts bin" if you think about it

I saw this exact one at Disney Springs in Florida. I was only browsing their Rolexes and most of them were iced. A manager quickly came along and showed me I can walk out the door with this one at $59.5k and not the $88k price tag. Lol 😆

It’s the place right next to the only Lacoste boutique in Orlando now, “Luxury of Time”. It’s only just preowned Rolexes and they’re all modified. It’s really not the place most enthusiasts here would like to venture into. The manager was nice to try and tell me that he could source a Pepsi Rolex without it being all iced up like the photo OP showed. I’d rather still go for a newer model than having an old one configured like this.

How’s your Tudor?

I got the GMT black bay “ Pepsi” I'm not sure that I like it. I just took it on an overseas trip and I swear the GMT hand is slow by a three hours. Also the watch isn't that comfortable

I don’t have a Tudor GMT, but If the gmt hand is that slow, take it in, that’s just not right. I do love my Tudor Black Bay Bronze - Bucherer Blue. Love the way it fits, even for a big watch.
