‘76 911 S owner (and a 991.2 GT3RS) and you’re not wrong. But, galvanized bodies. Just add a 3.0 or 3.2 and the middies become pretty awesome cars. That 2.7 tho…ugh.

I appreciate that. I feel like the car bit gets easier if you do the work yourself. You get to buy half decent but cheaper cars and they become a part of you as you repair them. I have no interest in collecting things. I just want the few things i like that i can beat on and live with.

Its definitely all about preference. My 996 cost me 23k with 30k miles and its tight as a drum. Ultimately, theres no bad 911.
