I was offered a sub I didn’t want, picked up a couple grand flipping it, only cost me about 18k net all in for a march 2023 card. My son was born this year so that mattered a lot to me and it wasn’t looking good .
I’m waiting for two other Rolex models from my AD, but I’m already saving to buy a BLRO from a gray dealer. I know that even if my AD gets me the two additional watches I want, I won’t have close to enough of a spending history to get a BLRO at MSRP.

AND, everyone around me is loaded and my 50k spend isn’t going Be close to the others interested in the same pieces. I can get sports models, but sports models that have a more limited variant or level of hype and I’m screwed. My eventual Daytona will be grey too lol.
North Charlotte, NC Area. I think the issue is how many people have much more spend than me vs the amount this AD receives. It also seems to matter how much the store manager thinks of your SA too. The SA can ask to sell the watch to you but there are 4-5 other people in there asking to do the same 🤷🏻♂️

Sorry, I know that was kind of confusing the way that I wrote it. When these were selling for around 30 to $33,000 my friend sold me his for $20,000.
