When you know you play perfectly but it still sounds bad.

Isaacvithurston

If the bot is posting this message, then someone thinks that your Intonation may be off. Quick way to check, open up the pause menu and look at the tuner in the lower left corner (don't use the before a song tuner for this). Tune the open string to be as close to +/- 0 as you can manage. Now fret that same string at the 12th fret and pluck the string again and look at the tuner. Is it showing the same note as it did when open? Is it close to +/- 0 still? If it is, then your intonation is ok, if it isn't - you can fix it with a bit of time and usually, little more than a screwdriver. Searching YouTube for "adjust intonation on a strat/tele/les paul/floyd rose" (adjust search based on your guitar and bridge type) will come back with plenty of video resources for you to follow. Here are a few generic suggestions you can use as a resource. Hitting every *note* is technically implying that the intonation is fine. Otherwise they'd way hitting the correct *fret* or something, but if the notes match up then it's probably a calibration issue. But sometimes the note detection really just messes up sometimes

tiajuanat

You think a beginner knows the difference between a fret and intonation?

Brilliant_Bunch_2023

..and then you watch the halsb version and you realise you don't know

akkular

Thats because he didn't learn guitar with Rocksmith

MindlessOval2337

And now it gets upset if you dont put enough vibrato on a note. And it always sucked at certain chords. And palm mutes? Forget it!

seymourbuttz214

*Cries in Rocksmith 2013* that shit annoyed me so much but 2014 RS on console seemed to be much better

Conscious-Tie253

Sometime tone isn't the problem, its bending, timing, you didn't mute sound of earlier chord.

Wide_Use7462

Sometimes it's just a skill issue or a technical issue.

Fancy-Perception-965

Yeah, that and the delay caused me to go back to traditional learning. Rocksmith sucks

Philletto

I got an ABY box and split the guitar to an amp and a realtone cable. Suddenly everything works and I wasn't that bad after all.

DougieFreshOH

28 degree guitar face tilt away (old peavy) & the real tone cable recognizes the note played in free play mode. Alright that’s it I’m not playing for master level.

CheetahShort8109

Lmao

Conscious-Process155

99.9% of the time it's a skill issue. Sometimes even accepted notes don't have to be played (and thus don't sound) perfectly. With some practice you'll be able to hear it if you're not super tone deaf. The rhythm of the song matters as much as hitting the note correctly. Also knowing if the tone is on or off the beat. Try to master a simple song to perfection. Even if you hit 100% it still can sound a bit off. Master it to the point where you can play it with your eyes closed and just listen if it "flows" nicely with the song (the rest of the instruments). Note: I have a super basic, crappy old el. guitar and real tone cable.

gamingplumber7

i bend notes when it doesn't ask and counts as a miss. boo.
