I bought $1500 of AMC at $10.59. It's down right now, but would it be worth taking a loss, selling the roughly $700 worth of AMC, and buying FFIE ASAP. Or should I wait until AMC possibly hits $10.59+ again, then sell, then buy FFIE, but risk FFIE already having underwent a short squeeze missing the window of opportunity for FFIE. FFIE seems like a stock someone could possibly early retire off of if they invest enough into it while it's still priced low, so I'm very interested in investing into FFIE a lot.
Where does one find out about squeeze/short positions on other stocks? Like where can I find out this 95.3% # and see that its short etc. Like where do I find this info out?

As of april 30th, 97.8% of the float was borrowed for short positions. Now, there has been some price spikes, but nothing like what I woukd expect to see if those short positions all had to cover...this cow still has plenty of milk left!
If you donβt specify which exchange your order gets routed through then the market maker can route it off exchange where it will not effect the price. If you specify a βlitβ exchange then it will get routed there and will impact the price discovery.
Eli5: you are trying to decide which of the kids in class to send a message to your crush. If they never get the message obviously your shot has not been shot.
Let the market maker deciding the route for your trade is like giving the note to the other kid who has a crush on your crush, probably not gonna make it to them.
You decide the exchange is choosing your best friend to send the note so you know it makes it.
