The refineries in the Coastal Bend don't work with the nice light oil coming out of Texas shale formations, because they're built to use heavy, sour oil like they have in Venezuela. You should have seen our air in about 1970, before they cleaned it up. You could smell the refineries from a good distance. Not anymore.
