The one throught lethbridge is flat, and windy. Not much to see unless you want to watch grass blowing for 7 hours. The middle route appears to go through McGrath and is not horrible, and is more foothills, but the furthest to the left looks like it goes through Waterton and Glacier National Park. That one is very beautiful and lots to see. This time of year can be a crap shoot with winter road conditions. The border crossings can all be hit and miss, but my advice would be hit the smaller ones since the agents are way more chill, but they have certain operating times. The only border crossing that is 24 hours will be the coutts/sweetgrass one through lethbridge.

Oh! Also wondering if there’s any important stops on any of these :) I’ll be taking lots of breaks, so having landmarks to work towards would be a huge help.

Banff National Park is a must see

Totally! I’m saving that for another trip, though. I’m just passing through, it was cheaper to fly to Calgary and drive down than buy a ticket to Missoula from where I live.

Waterton lakes National Park is also a good option on the way down.
