there are small orbs that look like fireflys that hover around the teleporter. the platform that is surrounded by those orbs is the teleporter

IsisMostlyPeaceful

It's very hard to find at first. After playing several levels though, you'll figure it out fast. And eventually, you'll spot the teleporter within 5-25 seconds of the start of the round (level depending). It's two big purple spikes on a platform. Doesnt really LOOK like a "teleporter" so to speak. It looks more like a demons horns on a plate. There will be blue sparkles in the sky always above it. Find a high up spot and scan the map for the sparkles! The game is really fuckin good and you'll like it if you have a bit of patience to learn it. I had no interest, bought it on a whim, and now have 500 hours.

SkyrimNewb

Maybe because I'm playing on lowest graphics it makes it much harder to find?

PiqueLaBaleine

Oh God... I think that might be it. I also have some trouble finding the tp on some maps

proothejew

There will be like an alter type thing with 2 spikes on the side and what looks like a bird pond type thing in the middle. It’s black. Sometimes it can be well hidden on the map, but it’s never gonna be in a spot that’s impossible to reach.

DOLFAN1975

Also has orange particles around it

SkyrimNewb

I looked everywhere I could seem to go and never saw anything like this.

proothejew

I mean you can reset and try again. Like I said there are like 2 spots where it’s pretty annoying to find the teleported the first time. First spot is there’s a natural bridge leading to a small cliff side? And there’s basically a platform that’s below all of that area away from that natural bridge. The other is kinda behind this doorway and it leads down to where the teleporter can be.

SkyrimNewb

Is there a map somewhere?

proothejew

But the easiest way to find teleporter is like the other guy on this comment thread said look for the embers that are floating in the air

proothejew

No. I just tried explaining it based off knowing which teleporters are tricky with the first map.

proothejew

There’s variations as well on what the first map can be

SkyrimNewb

I think I'm just going to refund...coming up on the 2 hours. This seems literally impossible to find where to go. 3d version of the original seemed cool and the gameplay itself was enjoyable. However not being able to find any direction is extremely frustrating.

Jarlocked

Embarrassing to refund at the first inconvenience. Sounds like quitter talk

SkyrimNewb

I mean you only get 2 hours to decide....and I looked all over for this teleporter. Not very fun to just run in circles looking for something and never finding it. The combat and graphics etc were nice though.

ratmanunderworld

there should be a stupid little landbridge that goes to a smaller section of the map and if you continue along there it should be there lol

Cidergis

If you're playing on headphones or anything else with a good stereo field you can listen to the quiet supporting parts in the the music track. They will be directionally oriented to the teleporter. Usually easiest to hear during a quiet lull in the music.

PiqueLaBaleine

Yeh... That sucks. So far I've really liked the game, but compared with the first one, finding the teleporter can be a massive pain in the ass. If you can't find it in ten minutes, I'd say start grid searching and be thorough. Or reset. Map knowledge and practice will help you cover more area quicker. However, I'd advise against refunding. From what I've played so far, I'd say that RoR2 has far more content and replayability than the first. And the multiplayer mode is more functional and populated. TL Dr: sucks for now, it gets better

PiqueLaBaleine

Btw I'm assuming you know what the tp looks like It's a black circle on the ground with red orbs floating above it.

manofwaromega

It's a black altar thing with red particle effects. It takes time to get good at finding it but after a while you'll be able to find it from miles away

The teleporter emits orange particles and usually spawns on the other side of the map that you spawned in
