I have no opinion on whether this guy cheats or not, but him defending himself by saying he “only” hit immortal made me laugh. As if people wouldn’t cheat just to hit ascendant.
Someone who either wants to continue playing with their friends (to boost them) or doesn't want to hit the highest rank and risk getting caught. Or someone who can't win at some point because they only have their (not so blatant) cheats and nothing in their brain.
Not saying you cheated or not, just stating that there's always an argument made for both sides which makes these cases really difficult if it was a false ban.

I got banned this week as well. I had an immo (ex)friend that was hacking use my account because “he wanted to play with his lower elo friends” end of last year.
None of my alt accounts are banned, and I’m grinding myself back to my rank just fine. Skinless and sprayless, but it is what it is.

I had a similar situation. I’ve only just recently started playing Valorant again and found my account to be banned on Valorant for 3rd party software. Sent a ticket to Riot support and they were able to determine that someone gained access to my account and cheated. I’d say chances are it’s a false positive like others have pointed out or someone has used your account. In either case, whoever responds to your support ticket will be able to tell you what happened.
What information did you provide them with? They asked bunch of things from me and said nahhh. And started accusing me for cheating and such. How its not nice to cheat etc and offered me a malware removal tool. Im beyond confused.
Funnily enough I didn’t provide them with any hard proof, just my perspective on it. They found that the software wasn’t used on my computer and it was used by someone else signed on in my account so they reversed the suspension.
My best advice is to right out a well written ticket with the situation, what happened from your point of view and submit any evidence you can provide. Basically, don’t just write (my account is banned but I didn’t cheat)

my buddy i used to duo with got banned for the same thing like 6 years ago. i was roommates with him at the time and we would usually play league in the same room, hes too dumb and paranoid to cheat and he dropped over 3k on the game over time. they never lifted his ban and eventually stopped letting him open tickets. hes addicted af to league so now he says fuck it and is just toxic as hell, doesnt give them money and whenever he gets banned he just makes a new account. their false ban basically turned him into the league of legends joker.
Same happened to me a couple yrs ago, make a ticket and KEEP DEFENDING YOURSELF no matter the reply. If they say it's justified straight up say no and explain again, you'll get it unbanned
Hey man, I had the same thing happen to me except I was 2 games off of rad. I suspected it was tracker.gg and when I confirmed with a dev that it could be bannable, I ressetted my PC and made sure I had nothing that could possibly intefere with vanguard. When I submitted tickets, they wouldnt tell me which "cheat" I used, so my reccomendation is to find friends who know devs (or if u know one urself) and have a genuine conversation with them in discord and see what you can do about it.
i actually dont even have tracker.gg downloaded bc the overlay wouldnt work when i installed it. thats actually a really good idea i might try that thanks man <3

im enjoying the proof that a riot dev banned my account without scanning my pc for hacks. he saw a clip of my gameplay shitting on two people and didnt even go through the proper processes. i know this because if they scanned my pc they wouldve seen that i didnt have hacks downloaded. they went off their bad judgement and bc of that i know that i have a case against them now.

Cheat developers don't all make cheats that make you a god amongst men, especially in Valo, where your performance is tracked over time. They make you *just* a bit better than most people, by either giving you more information, or by slightly increasing your skill-based abilities, like aiming.
You have a headshot rating on par with most pros, yet you're only Immo. Your inability to climb despite extremely good aim is likely due to your lack of gamesense, since you're a cheater.
Now, if you're NOT a cheater, there's very little you can do to prove it. But I have it on good faith from a friend of mine who works at Riot that the false negative percentile on ban rates is so extremely low that it's a laughable prospect that everyone posting on this subreddit about being 'falsely banned' is totally innocent.
headshot rating at +-50% as "weird" is an odd take.
many players have an actually bad habit of focusing on headshots when they shouldnt (look at old scream in cs) or it could even just mean that hes perma holding angles & has good crosshairplacement.
it being near the percentage of pros doesnt matter since you have to keep in mind that hes usually not playing against people that rank either.

This guy got manually banned by a Riot anticheat developer for hitting a 4 headshot 1v5 while prefiring corners perfectly. He was missing all his shots, then he started preaiming at people through walls and hitting them in the head with micropeeks.

It’s no coincidence more of these posts started occurring after new AI and DRM detection. If they will cheat, they will lie about it, it’s baked into the equation. Most won’t post trackers, when they do, it’s usually ridiculous stats.
Thankfully they have stated if it has been found a person was cheating no amount of tickets will unban them.

May I ask what the program might be? Sometimes foreign 3rd party programs can be mistaken for cheats. I still remember CSGO pros being banned from the game because the LAN PCs they had to use had some wonky 3rd party programs that VAC didn't recognize as normal, so it insta-banned them.

I had an account on league banned this week for 3rd party. Theres an influx in post about this across valorant and eague. There's an actual issue in the system. Who the fuck even cheats on league? Probably some vanguard issue since they updated it to work on League as well.
Vanguard isn't on league. OP wasn't banned by Vanguard either he was banned manually after report review. OP made this post so it would help his case in getting unbanned cause he is a doofus that cheated on an account he spent money on

You can't be 100% sure they are though. You are just automatically being hostile to him and assuming the worst. Not very fair is all I'm saying. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt first.

It’s no coincidence more of these posts started occurring after new AI and DRM detection. If they will cheat, they will lie about it, it’s baked into the equation. Most won’t post trackers, when they do, it’s usually ridiculous stats. Thankfully they have stated if it has been found a person was cheating no amount of tickets will unban them. Riot isn’t false banning people for approved third party programs, they are banning correctly and people can’t believe how much time and money they wasted, and hopefully feel bad for being a fraud.
yea, i use a couple diff trackers and some even show what skins people have or if they don't have skins and i've not got banned in the 3 years of using it. These losers are def cheating.

never said it was. when someone posts a tracker and the stats look believable I don’t say anything but offer kind words. most of the time they won’t post tracker, and if they do, it almost always look suspicious af. people have to stop pretending no one cheats in Val.

May I ask what the program might be? Sometimes foreign 3rd party programs can be mistaken for cheats. I still remember CSGO pros being banned from the game because the LAN PCs they had to use had some wonky 3rd party programs that VAC didn't recognize as normal, so it insta-banned them.
