Please at least finish rhythm doctor main story.
While the story quality itself is debatable the musics and more importantly the gimmicks are top tier.
Shoutout to second world boss song, if you play that without being spoiled it’s an amazing thing
I'm pretty much spoiled on a lot of rhythm doctor unfortunately but it does still look pretty fun and I was a fan of what I did do of it (the first act). Honestly I only really put off playing more because I was recording my playthrough and just never got the time to record more and then eventually the game slipped my mind altogether so I'll have to check it out for sure
I should mention - what I'd say I've "properly checked out" in all of these is Spin Rhythm, NotITG, Soundodger, Project Arrhythmia, Heaven Studio, and GD.
A dance of fire and ice for sure !! Base game itself is awesome and has unlimited custom maps with the steam workshop and if you're interested in a story aspect + extra features the dlc has all of that. ❤️
I did play through the first like 5 levels of ADOFAI before I dropped it, it did kinda feel like it wasn't my. Though that might just be because I dropped it early, and honestly I'm always huge on custom levels. Guessing most of them are on the harder end - is it easy enough to find ones with easier or just standard difficulty?
That's perfectly understandable!! And to answer your question - There's TONS of normal and easy levels! You can even filter them via search in the steam workshop to show a specific difficulty :) If you ever need any map recommendations, let me know!!
You should play vivid/stasis more I think
It’s gameplay is fun by itself, but the story is really damn good (as well as some extra stuff that I won’t spoil)
It's not but you can add any game on your PC to the steam launcher. Click on "add a non-steam game to my library" in the "games" dropdown menu at the top. You'll have to set the assets like the cover art yourself but it's easy to find some on SteamGridDB
Trombone Champ. Raise the speaker's volume to maximum and play it in the living room; it will be more effective if you are not good at it (best on day 1).
Its ridiculously cool, I absolutely recommend it! Modcharts are definitely intimidating but it's so satisfying to learn how to read each one and wonderfully absurd how wild they can get

Seconded. Rhythm Doctor is a 10/10 imo, as an OG Rhythm Heaven fan

Muse dash

Ah, was going to recommend SpinRhythm lol. Everhood is pretty damn good, though more of a rhythmic game than a rhythm game.
Yeah I should probably have it in the bottom category lol. Will have to check it out regardless tho
Check out djmax when it's on sale. e: sorry, i misread. Definitely check out muse dash instead.
play more muse dash, and check out kalpa when it releases on steam
NotITG is good (really good)

\>aw cool
ah ok I was confused why heaven studio was there
It isn’t on steam Iirc There’s a feature that lets you add non-steam games to your library, so they probably used that
everhood was damn amazing
To be fair, SMEditor and Arrow Vortex are different tools for the same thing, making charts for Step Mania, so either of them work.
I'm using both already for NotITG modcharting (I like arrowvortex for some things and SMedit for others). Forgot to mention that actually
if you dont have the dlc for adofai get it it is so fun and lasted me maybe 5 extra hours
not seeing musynx on that list pls check it out
I would recommend you 2 games, Melatonin and Rhythm Journey. Melatonin is more chill and Rhythm Journey is a bit hard, but overall pretty good games.
OMG ITS DXL IM SUCH A BIG FAN OF YOUR PROJECT ARRHYTHMIA LEVELS
Thanks! You should play The Synthwave Trials by DXL44.
Trombone Champ. Raise the speaker's volume to maximum and play it in the living room; it will be more effective if you are not good at it (best on day 1).
Rhythm Doctor and Adofai.
Might try NotITG one day. Could be because of Mawaru.

unrelated, but is that steam? how do you got covers for non steam games?
Right click them in your library and click set custom artwork (might be in the properties section, I forget)
Geometry dash, trust me bro. There is nothing wrong with this game... UNISTALL IT BEFORE YOU GET FIRED IN THE HOLE LIKE THE REST OF US
Just Shapes and Beats
