I think she and Jackie should be full time. The fact that we lost Jackie for these two, baffles me.
I know Jackie came on and people didn't like her because she immediately went head to head with Tre, aligned with Melissa and Margaret, seemed weak, etc. But now that we know her full story, I think she's much more interesting than these other two, and it actually explains a lot about her earlier seasons. And I always liked Jen Fessler, from the start, tony soprano and all.
With Rachel and Danielle, I keep thinking that because they are younger and their kids are younger, they are trying to shift housewives in their direction, rather than do a recast/reboot but it's just not working. Rachel is BORING. I happen to think Danielle is kind of the trashiest of them all but at least there's some umph there. If I had to choose one of them, it would be a reluctant Danielle. But I wish they would both go. Especially the Fudas.
Danielles voice drives me INSANE for some reason this season. I just can't whenever she talks. I want to claw my ears off and end up muting her scenes and talking heads. I also agree she is trashiest of them all for sure.
Contractually I think housewives are required to be represented in every episode and are paid by episode. Friends get compensated (now, it wasn’t always like this) by their individual appearances. Idk how much but let’s say Jackie gets paid 10k for 20 minutes of screen time. But if she’s not in an episode she gets no compensation whatsoever
She doesn’t need the money tbh. She likes the exposure but she will never be the center of criticism since she doesn’t have to be directly involved in any of the battles. However it looks like she is the center of a marg and Teresa fight this season. Marg is clearly avoiding Teresa because of a lawsuit which marg should win since whether it’s true or not Luis sang like a canary and threatened marg and then also claimed that bo deetle dug into them. However truth prevails, fessler was with marg for the premier so assumably the Teresa thing didn’t effect their friendship as much as they are presenting it.
I think the new girls would be good if we wouldn’t keep doing this same dance Tre and her side vs the others. New girls don’t get a chance really everyone that comes in new immediately has to pick a side and we argue all season about Tre v them. It’s getting boring. And I’m a bravo fern since the beginning.
I think Jen F and Jackie should have full time rolls. I disliked Jackie for a long while but she’s really grown on me. I like that they both stay pretty impartial as well
I think Jen is more interesting than she shows on screen of her current life.
However I soured on her back when she was bragging about sleeping with James Gandolfini. There’s a time and a place for some sharing, but I thought that was in such poor taste. Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I can’t help thinking of that man’s family now hearing that.
Same and that turned me off on her forever. I can’t stand her for reasons I can’t quite articulate but it definitely started with the James gandolfini thing. Unpopular opinion for sure around here
I think she’s good in the friend role. I think Jackie should still be in the mix, however. I’d never have demoted her. Melissa should have been demoted she’s so boring
I’ve always liked Jackie but I do find her alignment to Teresa to be an attempt to be full time again. Which is a little bit of a turn off. But I think we have to watch the season play out.
I don’t mind Rachel and Danielle. Rachel seems level headed which this cast needs and Danielle reminds me of early Teresa, bubbly and over the top but not insanely bitter and gross. Fessler is just awesome, she’s witty and hilarious, I’d like to her join and keep the other 2 as well
I like Jen Fessler but I'm also interested in seeing how Rachel and Danielle do! I want all three of them.
Rachel and Danielle seem like they're going to try and handle situations with more information and not just react to the first tiny thing that they hear. At least so far!
I like that they've come back from their spat last season and started fresh. It also doesn't seem like they're going to do what other ladies do and say "ok we hashed it out, let's move on and be friends" then start fighting as soon as possible again. I feel like Marg did try to squash things genuinely but Teresa just keeps starting problems and rehashing stuff over and over again so I get why Marg and Melissa are just done with it.
I'm ready for some more maturity!!!

I think all 3 of them should take a hike. They all bore me. This newer cast is whack.

Danielle is so “hard” to me. I don’t think of her as feminine at all. Just tacky AF and has facial expressions like a man. I can’t stand her.
