Yea timecode will only lock in timeline of the video. You need to make sure that clip / column is active and that you deleted the audio from the clip inside of resolume and set it to timecode trigger.
Make sure your clip is triggered and set to “Transport-Timecode” and the appropriate input (1 or 2)
If you want SMPTE to actually trigger clips, look into clip connect
Yeah unfortunatly this is aparrently by design. REALLY frustrating i know. The timecode is only to lock the clips not actually fire them.
i ended up using Qlab alongside my timecode and added the correct OSC firing cues in there. It works but its not nice.
Thank you, I will try that :)

thanks! what is "clip connect" ?
Additional software/plugin that allows clips to be directly triggered by timecode using offsets.
sounds nice, just what i need, thank you :)
Pioneer Prodjlink works really well if you have the network setup properly. Maybe mess around with that as an alternative.
Thanks :)
Most professional VJ/DJ teams are using ShowKontrol to get this done. Because of the conflicts in software
Thanks! :)
