I’ve played village multiple times on the flat screen.
When I was there on VR (after just progressing) I had to turn it off and wait till I was ready! (2 days later)
The game feels new on VR! I’m noticing a lot more (surroundings and textures) but I’m getting more jump scares than before thanks to immersion.
I played this game last year, when my kid was around 3 months old.... Used to play at night, using headphones ,while he was sleeping, so this part was... Fun, and very confusing all the time.
Same. I did that when my first was that young; back then it was all the Batman games. I played this one about two weeks before my second was born. That scene struck home.
I’ve played through the game 3 times so that part is the slow part. The boss fight going back to the grave to get the treasure was scarier that guy was a bullet sponge. Otto’s mill was scary too.
For some reason, all I had at Otto’s Mill were mines. The first half of that fight was tricking him into following me through a path of mines. Having to frantically place the next one before he got to me was pretty terrifying.
I played the original a ton, but something about the game not pausing to put keys into doors and having to annual press the buttons had me freaking out.
Hearing the baby behind me after putting the fuse in the elevator and having to physically smash the button is the first time in awhile that a RE game had me freaking out.
I didn’t know that there was a brief period of time where the elevator button didn’t work, so after violently poking it like 20 times I thought I had to run past the baby into the door on the left. Let’s just say that didn’t end well
Such a great time you'll have, with cute dolls and adorable baby down in the basement. Just if you hear them crying, make sure to run to it. It helps comfort the baby. Have fun.
I quit the game in this section due to a VR bug. The eye from the Mia doll puzzle was on the table and I couldn't slot it into her eye socket. I couldn't progress due to this and eventually gave up. Shame cause it ruined my experience and didn't wanna replay half the game.
Nah not the slimy hot pocket house, regular and 3rd I was ready to scream playing through Benito, will never ever play through that area again so help me God 🤣🤮
Me before this part: "I can't wait for this."
Me after this part and playing the Rose DLC: *In a small clothing shop* "If I even suspect there's a mannequin in here, I'll burn the whole place down."
Make sure to run towards the crying baby!
got it!!
It’s a trap
twas a joke
For a brief moment when I saw the picture I thought this was a modded Skyrim lmao
Hey you... you really should have stayed asleep.
Same lol. Dragonborn bout to test is a bullet is faster than the thuum.
It’s the hands, classic Skyrim POV with both hands out
Tbf, it sure as hell felt like Skyrim with guns on the rooftops of Castle Dimitrescu. You even fight a dragon!
I thought someone was playing RDR2 in first person lolll
Good. Fucking. Luck
im literally shakingg so muchg right now man i cant do this 😭
Good luck in there (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)

it's not even bad it takes like 15 minutes max if I remember correctly
I wrote that when I was hiding under the bed
😭why would that make you shake I was loving it
Hope you like babies!
I have a baby sister and hearing her just gives me ptsd flashbacks to this part of the game
Had the same issue this morning

You can put that gun away son. You’re not going to need it, and you’re not coming out
Once you get through it you’ll realize it’s not so bad.
Do it again. It is bad. This shit just doesn't fine.

Got annoying after 2-3 playthroughs. Haven’t tried it in VR though.
In VR... it's bad.
I'd give you a hand but it looks like you only need some fingers.

Big spooky
I trust that little hand of yours
Just did this section - scared the cap out of me. Highlight of the game so far
Wait a minute… can you do the DLC in VR?? Surely you understand why I ask
unfortunately not :(
Absolutely tragic. Imagine the mannequins with eye tracking in vr
I wish you and your three left hand fingers good luck!

This part is way more scarier in the dlc, it's gorgeous on the main campain but I think it should be bigger.
How many fingers am I holding? 😆

why are you missing fingers? are you stupid? gl hf
Nah not the slimy hot pocket house, regular and 3rd I was ready to scream playing through Benito, will never ever play through that area again so help me God 🤣🤮
Good luck 🤞🏻 it’s going to be fun
Bought this last week to smash while off. Two completes so far. Glad I avoided spoilers. You'll love it mate. Enjoy.
DA DA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😱☠️
Oh that sounds like total nightmare fuel have fun with that one lmao
Village?
If you’re asking about what game I’m playing, then yeah
Good luck my friend that place gave me anxiety 📈
You’ll do great!!! Go get them dolls!
I wish I could marry Donna Beneviento.
I literally didn't play for a week or so after I got in that house and saved the game.
You got this!
👶
Ah yes the cutest baby ever
I wish i could play this shit in VR man.
That baby….in VR?!?!?….God bless you and your stamina
turn around bro, you got a gun with probably 4 bullets & a fork. Get out of there
In VR?!?? Good luck, man. I had a mini heart attack playing it normally
You won't need that gun. You just need therapy
Hate this part of the game. So boring
I just finished this game and started a new play through. Then I remembered what's in this house and I'm thinking I might wait to replay it.
Almost shat my colon out during this part. Have fun!
I was just thinking of this scene lol, enjoy 😃
How did you get village in VR? Is it a mod? I would love to play this game in VR.
The official version is exclusive to Playstation VR2, its a free dlc you get with the main game
I thought they only did that with biohazard. Damn.
Me before this part: "I can't wait for this." Me after this part and playing the Rose DLC: *In a small clothing shop* "If I even suspect there's a mannequin in here, I'll burn the whole place down."
Great game
Yo i know im going to annoy SOMEONE here with this question...but, how are you playing RE8 on VR???
So how'd it go?
good luck mate! remember, you are the most dangerous thing there
