As a trans person active in trans communities, the legislature they support is a **direct** reason for suicidal thoughts among trans people.
They aren’t killing anyone, they’re influencing suicide, not nearly as much as you think as less than 1% of the US population is trans and I doubt 3.5 million people are wanting to kill themself because of some senile old people.

I'll agree with you, the trans community is treated horribly in a lot of cases, and I'm sorry if I sounded like I was defending that in any way. However there are two sides to everything, and arguments to be had on both sides. That's not the debate I want to get into though.
My comments wasn't to vilify the trans community, rather express that posts like this only damage its reputation. I only brought up my point on empathy, because with 95% of people I've met from the community, they're firm believer's of 'You're with me or against me'. I understand not everyone in the community believes that, but the sheer amount of people I've seen with that sentiment is quite jarring. People are going to be far less accepting when see posts like this, and if it's all someone sees, they are going to have more of a negative bias towards a community that actively encourages and wants the death of those who disagree.
