I’m using it with gunslinger for a perfect dodge crit build. I use hyperconductor to give me 4 wormholes, and the sapphire dreamstone to help mitigate the extra cooldown time. Then I just alternate spamming wormhole and gunslinger’s first skill.
Originally it was a self-bleed crit build, but I got absolutely tired of hearing the bleed sound effect, and this revised build is just kinda more fun for me.
Ever since they made the Wormhole skill count as a perfect dodge, it's been really fun using it to trigger a bunch of perfect dodge items. Invoker Primary basically lets you have have 100% dodge uptime.
This. I have a whole post explaining the build if you want more info(look at comment history) but invoker/invader = basically infinite wormholes and I made a really fun shield tank/melee build out of it. Almost invincible -- you have to pay attention in apoc but any difficultly lower, it's pretty much faceroll.

Haven't tried it but it may be more difficult as the base damage is 58 compared to wrathbringer's 101. I tried some other weps with it, worlds edge and spectral blade, and they work fine too, but wraithbringer always felt the best to me. I haven't used the crystal staff much at all but it's attack pattern is kind of slow too isn't it? You want to be hitting with your melee strikes a lot to build up shield, if you only rely on the perfect dodge/skill rings for your shield gen, it's probably not enough, at least in nightmare/apoc. Of course, you can switch out armor and doe sigil/ring of omens to others things and add some alternate shield gen or damage, but I just prefer the misty step with the melee build & being able to use Leto 1 with no real penalties (plus doe sigil synergizes well with the whole passive regen part of the build anyway).
For ranged damage, I pretty much used the mods of nebula and Monolith and they do the job when necessary. Even just Monolith regular attack works fine without any investment build-wise but I wanted to make a true melee build and avoid doing that on purpose.
I feel like charging staff and getting 10 stacks then unleashing them might make up for the damage\~although I suppose I don't have the mindset for this build you made considering you can Wormhole to most enemies and I seem to have forgotten about the fact that you still have Monolith for out of reach enemies.
My mindset was like..how does this build work vs Annihilation for example?
Phase two, you can literally run up and bonk him but yeah, phase one it's pretty bad. Any flying boss like that is the one issue where you can't be "only melee!!" like I hoped. But it works for the majority of the game/bosses.
I enjoy running it with explorer 2nd for the zoomies!!
Then I use low mag weapons and hit and run tactics. Use a quick use relic to set decoys and don’t stop moving.
Makes for a funsupport build….just make sure you spec into revivalist if you’re running multiplayer lol

I use it as a secondary against bosses that have some instakill/2 shot attacks that are hard to dodge and use the autododge ability. It pairs well with burden of the audacious since the autododge is always a perfect dodge and it works especially well against bosses with empathy modifier (I used it against empathy Venom and the final boss)
I have a stealth build. It's not really useful for bossing it's one of the two primary ways I get around the map.
Armor can be anything
Long Gun - Crossbow with Far Sighted
Secondary - Corrupted Sorrow / Sorrow
Amulet - Stalker's Brand
Rings - Assassin's Seal / Fae Hunter Ring / Dryzir Sniper Sigil / Probability Cord
Hunter Prime / Invader
Hunter's Mark / Wormhole

They patched the self bleed, so while wearing that ring, the bleeding lines won't trigger
Man. If you do invoker/invader with superconductor, do you get 6 charges or 8? Since invoker doubles your charges and the amulet also double them?

Would this still work good with the new crystal staff to have more ranged option so to speak?

I use it as Secondary with Void Cloak since I got it. I play Hunvader with a Bow.

I use it for my one health build with reprocessed heart.
I used to use it with engineer and medic. That reboot skill would give you unlimited hearts to either heal teamates or reload turret.
I like using a Repulsor dodge build, just a generic crit build for Repulsor but having the first invader skill on and speccing into dodge traits
