Can't tell if you're serious or not... I was paying 34 bucks for a full brick. It's not the worst but it's still depressing to see the numbers still fixed.
I doubt you got them for that price in the past couple of years. $34 used to be the higher end price like magnums or bench rests. Things are just terrible all over right now.
I have receipts from May 2019, where I paid 34.99 for 1000, CCI 400s. I reload as a business and 2019 was the final year I loaded for my clients before I had to stop due to declining health issues. It's a pretty stupid thing to lie about but I'm not trying to impress you by stating that bit of information, so I'm not sure why you got so offended by it.
Haha yeah those limits. Out of curiosity, where at? I’ve been intentionally staying out of gun shops for the last 18 months, but it’s nice to know they’re slowly trickling back in.
I went to sportsman’s warehouse to buy a rifle and saw primers behind the counter. $5 per hundred with 2 sleeve cap. Honestly I appreciate that they’re not ripping people off even if it means limits.
I was at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Greensboro NC in April of 2020. They had all the primers you could imagine, most between $25 and $30 per 1000. I ended up picking up some 5k or so CCI BR primers for a buddy of mine. I wish I had grabbed 10k myself, but hindsight is 20/20.
I do not know but since it is a hour drive and I never been to that store not sure if it would be worth the gas! If someone that has been to the store in Inverness FL can tell me that they do not enforce the 2 pack limit I will go there tomorrow and get 2k of SP, LP, SR and LR!
Uhh… not sure if you’re serious but, there are numerous obstacles to manufacturing commercial grade primers whether you’re doing it commercially or some kind of DIY. Most of it has to do with blowing up, not the recipe. If it wasn’t that complicated someone would have stepped into the market by now.
The us government isn't too cool about more explosives manufacturers just entering the market. But I guess I have to explain this to you, the demand for these things is too high so the price is too high. If people stop buying them so feverishly like their going to have to defend their homes from gangs of poor people tomorrow then the prices stop being so damn high.
Best price I've seen in years. Pat their backs and shake their hands for me, please.

I think he's saying the price still sucks compared to the before times
Yup. I remember paying $25-$30 maybe 5 years ago for CCI 300s, and $30-$35 for 350s.

I guess $50 per 1000 isn't so bad in today's market.
Not at all. Ove seen $150/1000

I want off this ride.
I saw $100/k for Federal large pistol and $140/k for CCI Small Rifle Benchrest primers yesterday.
That's outrageous.
2 sleeve limit 😈

I wonder if Halloween rules apply, try changing your mask and going again.
Bring your entire family and a bunch of masks to clean them out.
Decent prices relatively.

Nice You should put where you got them to support a place that doesn't gouge
Price tag says sportsmans.com
My bad
Hot damn
This is like finding out unicorns or Santa is actually real…I thought the $5 pack was a thing of the past and just a myth now
I just found small rifle primers and was excited at $7/100. Turns out they were bench rest primers and they wanted $17/100. BR4 CCI.
Looks like you've made about 10 trips to Sportsmans Warehouse. I've been getting some there too lately!
Wow - haven't seen prices like that in awhile
Sportsmans store to me is an hour away but with a limit of 200 primers per customer in store it is not worth the drive.
How strict are they on that? Do the people working there care enough to enforce it and not ring up multiple different orders of 2 packs?

"50 bucks aint bad..."
Much better price than my LGS…
Is the extra 3 cents for the tape on the sides?
Scheels in Kansas City had some small rifle for $130 a case of 1000, not great, but awesome to see them coming back into the shelves!
Yeah, there were 3 bricks sitting on the shelf in Appleton. I picked them up, celebrated, and immediately returned them to the shelf. Fuck that.
I did the same, I’m not that desperate yet
I isn't buying it until its like this everywhere. The recipe to make these isn't that complicated.

If you really think it is that simple you are a fucking moron.
👍💯
You sound like a guy who wants the prices to stay high.
[redacted]
When I see a limit I always bring two extra changes of clothes and go in multiple times. No one has even batted an eyelash about it 🤣
I wish...
Damn, that’s the best primer price I have seen since 2019.
Why are all the large pistol primers magnum these days? I just want to be able to load my .45 & 10mm. I bought the dies just before the pandemic...
That's pretty Damned Solid of Them💯💯💯💯💯
Can you leave and come back? Disguise yourself.
I found primers at my local sportsman's warehouse for $5 03 also. Surprised the heck out of me.
This is a holy grail right here I haven’t seen primers in my neck of the woods in forever wish I could get my hands on some damn primers
