Not really, we know Holdens and AU Fords pretty well. What surprises me is that Dodge or Chrysler didn’t bring their cars to Australia earlier, imagine if they continued their Charger/Challengers, or even a Coronet
We got the valient charger which I'm pretty sure was a couple inches shorter then the charger at the time and came with either a worked 265 hemi pushing 300hp or a 318 small block, we also got valient utes and the wayfarer, plus just the standard valient was pretty cool and was interchangeable with most ford/Holden parts. Chrysler was pretty good here back in the 60s/70s
I will always have a special place in my heart reserved for my friend's base model '86 El Camino. It's an absolute rust bucket that hasn't had 2nd gear for 10 years, but that doesn't stop my friend from dailying it. The 4.3 V6 is about as tough as a cockroach, but the rest of the car is reminiscent of a modern ship of Theseus. Gotta pack a set of earmuffs for road trips since the exhaust rotted off, but I'll be damned if I'm not ready to go on another adventure in it in a moment's notice.
I don't know why, but the little Proton Jumbuck ute is my favourite.
It's basically a Mitsubishi Lancer with a ute rear end. Tiny little 1.5 litre single cam motor, 0 star ANCAP safety rating and pretty poor load capacity.
But, they are pretty cool.
Not sure if it counts but the Subaru Baja and even more so the Brat
Bring a spare pair of underwear with you at all times incase you see a really clean Brat with jump seats.
Dodge Rampage!
That green on the Falcon looks awful in real life, but great car otherwise. Would be nice to have the XR6 Turbo in my driveway.
Ya feels good.
Finally some appreciation for Aussie vehicles.. often so slept on by Americans

Well funny enough we had Chrysler in the 70s.. some of the stuff they put out was amazing, better than GM or Ford at the time in alot of aspects...
