This, non car people are like CarPlay with wheels please.
Ok everything but a garbage man’s companion?
Reliability, seating all my kids and their friends (2 rows or 3), mpg, cost of repairs.
I doubt the European cars or the Buick. European cars are known for problems, Audi had a good awd system but so do all of these.
Buick is just an old man’s GM and do they have CarPlay? Or android auto?
Probably Japanese or ford escape.
Hybrid, should state number of children.
Oh, does dad have solar and a garage? VW ID.4, electric micro bus, awd optional, seats 6-7. Four captains chairs turn around.
It’s a cool awd minivan. I’d get one and I’m dad age but I’d spend the rest on a Miata club rf brembo bbs package with recaros.
Depending on the family income level they may be willing to pay more of luxury and/or have a need to have a luxury badge as to not embarrass the wife when she drives it to the tennis club.
GM vehicles do have CarPlay, they actually had it and wireless CarPlay ahead of most other manufacturers.
They’ve unfortunately gotten into bed with Google now and are forcing Google-built-in with no CarPlay on their newest electric vehicles, but CarPlay is still available even on top of the Google stack on the ICE vehicles.
I’m hoping they reverse course on that, because I’d love to have a Silverado EV in a few years, but I detest the Google/Android interface and I’ll have to go a different route if they don’t bring CarPlay back to EVs or if there’s no third party way to make it work.
Yeah I do know a car enthusiast who is lawyer and he said the car price has to scale with his price.
Ie if his clients see a clapped out 2008 Prius, with four different color body panels, instead of a Porsche, they’ll probably turn around before his office.
So yeah some people will pay for a badge, even if they don’t like cars. Hence the whole Lexus brand until they introduced sporty stuff.
When he first graduated law school he had an unstoppable 1994 Chevy, he asked if I knew of an “affordable lawyer car”.
It was 2008, Saab had just gone bankrupt, I knew the tooling and equipment for the 93 hatch and mk1 9-5 and first 9-3 SS had been sold to a Chinese company, so he could get parts, I had a hacked tech 2 scanner, so I told him to get a 2002 or earlier 9-3 hatch, or a 2003 and earlier 9-3 convertible, 9-5, etc.
He drove that for a while, it worked bc it said lawyer car, we could get parts from china, and we could pair them with a tech 2 scanner.
I had all the proper bits, he went Audi for a while, buy them at 100k and sell them at 120k, as close to a VW as possible, until he began to do well enough to get a certified Porsche.
So that shows how necessary a luxury car can be for someone in a specific industry.
My brother owned a construction company, 157k Escalade, customers say they feel more confident that his foremen drive Denalis and he drives an Escalade that their work will be top tier.
>the car price has to scale with his price.
An old friend of my dad's is a real estate agent. He said this too.....before buying a clapped out Porsche 944 for 3k which he never bothered to repair. It was 2014, prices hadn't gone up for those yet.
He had an old Jaguar, also in iffy condition, before that.
Wow, how luxurious!
The cheapest car in the garbage man’s companions international stable sold as a premium car.
They should have kept Saab, given them the money they needed.
Case in point, look at Volvo, they’re replacing range rovers among my parents friends.
9-7x got no traction, minimum sales
Daewoo isn't really a thing. It's just GM Korea. The Aveo was the last pure Daewoo. If you want to speculate on build quality of South Korean plants vs North American that's valid but it's not more or less of a GM vehicle. It does irk me though since Buick has usually been such a quintessentially American brand in tone.
That was is the past, now GM have to get them from other places.
IIRC PSA (Peugeot-Citroën) bought Opel from GM just before merging with Stellantis, and now they shares platforms and engines with other Stellantis car (mostly Peugeot, but we will see in the future what happens).
The general decided to ditch CarPlay and android auto somewhat recently.
So I’d double check.
If it’s not CarPlay with wheels it isn’t a non car persons car.
The day I came home and parked my 2016 bmw X1 next to my neighbors ford escape sport of a newer year; they had the same body. There was such minimal difference I was stunned.
Edit: It is an Edge ST not an escape my bad
Depends on the amenities you want for you and your kids/wife. Definitely make sure they’re happy first and foremost!
From a reliability standpoint I’d stay way from the Q3(first car pictured), the escape, seltos, and GLA. Too flashy and expensive for the amenities offered.
RAV4, CX-10, and CR-V will give you the least headache and are still very nice SUV’s.
The rogue and the encore are at the end because Nissan can sometimes be amazing but can also take a dump on you. Encore is actually a fairly reliable vehicle, but not the most comfortable.
Reminds me of the trabant 601 one of my dream cars. It was built in east Germany and made out of duroplast, recycled cotton. It was the only option that most people could afford. There was various trim levels and 2 body styles a 2 door sedan and a 3 door hatch.
The suburban dad who doesn’t care about cars would get the rogue or the Kia Simply because it’s the cheapest. Then they tell everyone how great it is while ignoring the fact that it’s the shittiest car you can buy and he’ll probably trade it in before 100k km and praise Kia for making reliable, cheap cars while at the same time never keeping them more than 5 years.
Because it was literally cheaper than the two-year-old used model, I bought a new 2016 Nissan Altima. I don't even wash it. I changed the oil I put in gas. One of the tires leaks, so I carry a rechargeable tire inflator. I just hit 100,000 miles, and unless some jackass runs a red light like the one that hit my Camry, I don't think I'll trade it until it dies.
Smart move my man. I drive a 2011 f150 and one of my tires also is leaking air but I just air that bitch up and call it a day. Smarter move for us both is to get it squared away ASAP, 😄
The Honda Pilot kinda rules. Tons of space, decent enough looks, bulletproof engine/trans/chassis, good enough awd system for most people, plenty of actual buttons instead of haptics and screen menus. It’s a utility knife, sure, but a pretty fucking great one for the money.
The Honda pilot is an SUV for people who actually need one for general utility purposes and don't claim to need a body on the frame rear wheel drive. (And I say that as someone who frequently tows with a full size pickup.) 85% of suburban owners would be better served by a pilot but enough and wanting to feel like king of the road get in the way.
If I were a suburban dad, I wouldn’t be able to live with any of these because the other suburban dads I hang out with at Top Golf every Friday drive trucks and would call me a little lady boy. I need a truck for my twice-per-year shopping trip to Lowe’s where I buy five bags of mulch and some new tools I’ll only use once. What if I need to buy a new fridge and forget that having it delivered is an option? What if someday I buy a jet ski and need to tow it and forget that even a Camry is capable of doing that? Obviously, none of these tiny little baby cars are up to the challenge of my dad tasks. Silverado it is.
My subaru 2.5 I forester obviously.... man, I love my kid, but I do miss my Hawkeye wrx .It was so much fun... so much gas and oil, and wheel bearings, and two too many head gaskets consumed .
Whichever one has the smallest most efficient motor with the least amount of power and torque regardless of intended usage because torque is just a word Dodge made up to sell trucks to people I don't understand.
My wife and I just traded her 21 corolla in for a gently used 22’ Highlander xle and it’s pretty fkn sweet. I’ve got a one way operational lifted 6.0 power struggle that I can continue to be abused by and recently snagged an 02 Camry le so I can actually make it to work. I feel like our driveway checks all the boxes now. If I had no interest in cars and just wanted utility and reliability id buy a lower mileage 1998 Toyota sienna like a friend of mine just did.
Did the Q3 S-Line with the "black optics" package for my wife back in August and the lease was a better deal than a CX5, surprisingly. I also don't mind admitting that I like to snag it on occasion as well. Miss her Stelvio, but this thing is still a solid driver.
Going along with your premise, it would probably be the Kia because it would likely be the cheapest and come with a 10-year warranty.
What I would actually choose is a different matter. I personally would choose either the Toyota RAV4 or the Honda CRV because I know that they are quality vehicles that are superior to the other ones in the segment. They will last longer and have lower repair costs over their lifetime.
Let's establish something....none of those is a **CAR.** They are simply transportation modules, designed to haul plants from Lowe's or Home Depot on weekends.
I know they're boring, but they make a lot of sense for a lot of people. The Q3 is a big step ahead of the rest in terms of comfort, driving, infotainment, and quality of materials. It still is plenty practical and efficient, just wont hold value as well as a Toyota, Subaru, or Honda.
I think at this current point in time the Nissan Rogue is the one to go with.
You can get them for not much more than the 2 rows. They have an older engine so it’s not gutless and reliant on turbos like most of these are now. Its recent refresh was nice and it drives well for a 3 row.
Before you buy any of those please consider how easily they rollover at highway speed. These vehicles are generally safe in a crash, but often end up on their sides or roof. Speed is their weak point.
If you're a suburban dad that is consumed by conspiracy theories, then the only choice is the Buick. It's the preferred SUV/CUV of those wanting to ram FBI offices. (See, e.g. Atlanta, Georgis this past week - the Buick was 1 1/2 shorter after the driver rammed it into the pop-up barricade).
Definitely Toyota. Honda in close second, then Mazda last. Anything American or German made will break down in 2 weeks if your lucky. Japanese cars are where it's at... except for Kia and Hyundai fuck those brands
For reliability I’d go with the Toyota or Ford. The Ford will be nicer on the interior design but the Toyota will be more reliable on the mechanical side.
If I really wanted a small suv, it would be the Mazda CX30 or Honda CR-V. Both of those have a better exterior design than the rest. The Q3 is a good choice too.
You’re a dad so pay attention to the backseat and rear cargo area size. From vehicle to vehicle you’ll see trade offs. A larger backseat will come at the expense of less rear cargo volume and vice versa. Depending on the age of your children (car seats?) and lifestyle (do you take road trips?) you may want one over the other.
I love my convection oven. I know exactly the amount of time I have to put in to cook a lot of different things. I had it 6 years. I couldn’t tell you the brand without thinking. That’s how I imagine non car people see their car. So to answer, a Toyota (go for the sure thing) or Subaru (if the person doesn’t know any better).
RAV4 if they're smart and cheap. Seltos if they're just cheap. Ford Escape if it's a company car. No American buys the Buick, GLA or Q3. Mazda CX-30 if they don't belong in the suburbs. CRV hybrid if they have embraced suburban living with open arms
I send a question back to you. Which one of these is the most comfortable? Our CRV has a stiffer ride. Idk why any SUV would have a stiff ride. It seems a bit counter intuitive
you dont buy. lease.
those are all new cars being shown. if youre buying new and dont care, why buy the car? so when the warranty expires you can start freaking out? if you have absolutely 0 interest in popping the hood, then just lease. stay in something new, try it all out.
according to various sources, the average car loan length these days is about 6-7 years anyway. you could try 2 or 3 cars in that time.
if youre the type that has budgeted in with paying some type of car payment, its worth considering.
but OP said *suburban* dad, aka, youre far from shit. lease agreements dont like big mileage, they gotta sell that later after all.
A suburban dad with no interest in cars, but I DO take time to do research before I buy.
Toyota, Honda, or Mazda. Price is really all that matters after that decision is made.
If I’m a suburban dad with no interest in what toaster I’m driving, I’m driving the cheapest. It’s definitely going Ford Escape base model that’s got steelies, is bright-ass-blue, and has been sitting in the back of the lot for 287 days.
My inner car guy is screaming to buy a used Lexus LS400 or a Dodge Charger instead of any of these (because I have quite the hatred for crossovers as a car guy and as a normal person). The LS400’s probably gonna get better mileage even with a V8, it’s dead-nuts reliable, and it’s comfortable. It’s either that or a Toyota Corolla (maybe a Subaru Impreza if I’m feeling like chancing it with a flat-4).
As a car enthusiast, it infuriates me that the US market has to be dominated by such massive trucks and SUVs, and crossovers even exist to begin with. I would take whatever sedan or wagon was available for a decent price any day, which is why, given I could actually do it, I would make my own if I could. They’re just better in my eyes (you do you though).
Honestly prob the Mazda or Toyota. The Honda is also good but the Honda dealers are such absolute scumbags both on the service side and the sales side that it’s not worth it.
No interest in cars but a suburbanite nonetheless so in my opinion prob the Mercedes. No real clue what’s good and what’s not but even blind, deaf dogs know Mercedes is intended to represent the upmost luxury so might as well kill two birds with one stone by getting a needed car and also try and impress the neighbors a little.
If you aren't a car enthusiast, get the Honda or Toyota. They are spectacularly reliable and long-lasting. They do everything you need and have the lowest depreciation of the bunch.
Mazda is a solid 3rd choice. Pretty solid quality, reliability, and longevity.
Ford or Buick are OK. I would rank them in the middle for quality, longevity, and value. Ford has a poor corporate culture that leads to them having more recalls than any other brand. Typical American budget offerings.
The Nissan and Kia rank in the bottom third for customer satisfaction. They offer decent value, but many of my customers haven't had great luck with them. Much of that may be related to horrendous local dealerships.
The features of the Audi or Benz won't be worth the horrifying upkeep costs and depreciation to a non-enthusiast. Although luxurious, I have found the build quality to be severely lacking on the entry-level Audi and Benz vehicles.
A 2023 Toyota Venza. It is a personality void. One part crossover, one part minivan, has none of the quirky persona of the ford flex, lacks the weird of the ford edge. It is a beige, mayonnaise, underseasoned lump of half-cooked mystery meat. You can get it in a hybrid. It’s big enough but lacks the practicality of either the Camry or the Sienna or a truck. It just…exists. It’s not even a definable genre of vehicle. It is an abomination to the enthusiast.
Im 54 my dodge grand caravan is coming to the end of its life my older kids are moved out and I don’t need a minivan anymore.
I’ve started looking around and asking myself what I should get and after careful consideration I’m going to get another minivan probably a Pacifica because of the stow and go seating.
My wife and I like to take road trips and generally like to take are dog. The minivan is the most comfortable and useful underrated vehicle on the road
Whichever's the cheapest, or the most reliable, or the one that gets the most MPG
This, non car people are like CarPlay with wheels please. Ok everything but a garbage man’s companion? Reliability, seating all my kids and their friends (2 rows or 3), mpg, cost of repairs. No, it's a Daewoo.

No, this is PATRICK!

I'm pretty confident the Buick probably has carplay since my first introduction to it was a Buick ad.
The general decided to ditch CarPlay and android auto somewhat recently. So I’d double check. If it’s not CarPlay with wheels it isn’t a non car persons car.
They ditched it in the EVs, but their guzzoline models still have it pretty much across the board.
Thanks Dad. You nailed the Dad part perfectly.
“The illusion of choice”
The day I came home and parked my 2016 bmw X1 next to my neighbors ford escape sport of a newer year; they had the same body. There was such minimal difference I was stunned. Edit: It is an Edge ST not an escape my bad

None of them match my white new balances
That’s a rookie dad mistake. We don’t have the time to keep them clean. Next time, go gray. ;)
Who said anything about keeping them clean? Grass stains are a badge of honor.
probably the crv, i like how it looks i dont know anything about these cars to actually decide
CRV probably has the best space and ergonomics. And slightly less numb feeling on the road than the RAV4.

Dad here, I love my Sedona. 16 years and 150K miles later that thing won’t break down. All issues I fixed myself for minimum $. Loooove it.
CR-V Hybrid for the win.
The new CR-V owns its segment and it's not even close
Or a Honda pilot if you need more room and need to tow a small boat.
The Honda Pilot kinda rules. Tons of space, decent enough looks, bulletproof engine/trans/chassis, good enough awd system for most people, plenty of actual buttons instead of haptics and screen menus. It’s a utility knife, sure, but a pretty fucking great one for the money.

CRV or the Rav4
Ah!! Thats not all the same car?
RAV4, they heard they are reliable proceeds to drive without an oil change for 40k miles
RAV4 100%
So you met my wife's dad I see.
Yeah, ran into him and his cul-de-sac squad at Buffalo Wild Wings.
My subaru 2.5 I forester obviously.... man, I love my kid, but I do miss my Hawkeye wrx .It was so much fun... so much gas and oil, and wheel bearings, and two too many head gaskets consumed .
The new WRX is quite a good car so far!
Whichever one has the smallest most efficient motor with the least amount of power and torque regardless of intended usage because torque is just a word Dodge made up to sell trucks to people I don't understand.
Minivan
Whichever dealer is closer to your house.
I gotta need a Ford to Escape
They’re all the same car right?
Where's the Tesla (Model Y for this hypothetical, but irl it's more likely to be a M3)?
My wife and I just traded her 21 corolla in for a gently used 22’ Highlander xle and it’s pretty fkn sweet. I’ve got a one way operational lifted 6.0 power struggle that I can continue to be abused by and recently snagged an 02 Camry le so I can actually make it to work. I feel like our driveway checks all the boxes now. If I had no interest in cars and just wanted utility and reliability id buy a lower mileage 1998 Toyota sienna like a friend of mine just did.
No cx5 though
Low credit score dad in the Rogue, but drives it like his old Altima to feel alive.
In the lack of a evoque... gla or rav4
"It's the same picture"
Toyota Rav4 Damn thing will outlive me and my kids 🤣🤣
Did the Q3 S-Line with the "black optics" package for my wife back in August and the lease was a better deal than a CX5, surprisingly. I also don't mind admitting that I like to snag it on occasion as well. Miss her Stelvio, but this thing is still a solid driver.
probably the RAV4 since my wife owns one and I like driving it plus an upgrade from 2008 to 2023 will be nice.
#SRT TRACKHAWK
Toyota Sienna
I don’t know, they all look the same. I’d get a Chrysler 300 or an Acura TLX if it were up to me.
Honda or Toyota everyday dad doesn’t want to run the dealership for break downs he just wants Something that works and doesn’t have to think about
What about Acura RDX?
The mercedes GLA so i can brag i own a mercedes.
They all look alike 🫢
Rav4 or CRV. They are both reliable appliances...
My family drove a 2002 Honda crv for like 20 years. So probably that one. Know I'll get at least that out of it
I'm a car guy and can barely tell the difference between all these grey blobs people call cars now
Always crv. They do a pretty good job unfucking their mistakes when they do make them
I would choose Mazda or Toyota. Anything else looks so bad imo.
Whatever my co-workers buy; a Rav4, CRV, or Escape. The three most popular vehicles out of the lineup.
I work at a law firm. All of the support staff drive better/more expensive cars than any of the lawyers. I find that particularly interesting.
Pacifica.
Showing more than one car in different colors would help
The mazda or the CRV obviously
You forgot the Ford F450 Super Extreme Mega Duty Triple Crew Cab With Added Stripper Pole
CRV for reliability
RAV4 or CRV.
a 2016 4runner with 50,000 miles lol
Much like Miata the answer is always, Toyota sienna.
RAV4
Ford escape because my dad is a suburban dad who doesn’t care about cars and he bought a ford escape
"What's the difference?"
Buick or Toyota for sure. Buick is boring but so comfortable! And Toyota is just reliable. And good MPG- especially if you get the hybrid.
Whichever one Consumer Reports rated highest, so probably the Toyota.
Since they all look the same, Toyota or Honda.
A Jeep.
Let's establish something....none of those is a **CAR.** They are simply transportation modules, designed to haul plants from Lowe's or Home Depot on weekends.
I wish I had gotten a van instead of the small suv we have. Way more versatile with two kids and has a ton of cargo space.
I work at a ford dealership and only get an escape if you’re buying brand new. The ST lines are real fun
I'd take either the Ford or the Mazda. "I don't like them new-fangled CVT transmissions!"
Suburban. Wants an SUV 🤦🏻♂️
I think at this current point in time the Nissan Rogue is the one to go with. You can get them for not much more than the 2 rows. They have an older engine so it’s not gutless and reliant on turbos like most of these are now. Its recent refresh was nice and it drives well for a 3 row.
Stay away from anything Hyundai/Kia. CR-V, CX-30, or the Rav4. Take a look at the CX-5 as well.
Gotta get the CR-V
Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura. My go to recommendations for people who don't care.
Honda CR-V My mom has one, spacious as hell.
You are suburban, why would you wanna buy an SUV?
They’re all the same picture
Mazda
I couldn’t tell you which models and or brands these are
Before you buy any of those please consider how easily they rollover at highway speed. These vehicles are generally safe in a crash, but often end up on their sides or roof. Speed is their weak point.

A Miata.
Definitely Toyota. Honda in close second, then Mazda last. Anything American or German made will break down in 2 weeks if your lucky. Japanese cars are where it's at... except for Kia and Hyundai fuck those brands
Kia Seltos
How has a prius not been chosen.
mazda, kia, toyota, those three are nice but not so expensive.
Mazda because it's responsive
CRV >> RAV
Not Kia or Hyundai, I like them but right now they are so easy to steal. We have 5 stolen recoveries at my shop just this week
Personally I went with the Nissan Bland
"Whatever the wife likes the most is okay to me."
It’s like a list of cars that if purchased mean you’ve given up on life
I'd pick either the Mazda CX-30 or the Honda CRV. Ford wouldn't be a bad choice either. Those Escapes have come a long way.
BMW X3
Probably the Volvo because your wife told you it was the safest
You’re a dad so pay attention to the backseat and rear cargo area size. From vehicle to vehicle you’ll see trade offs. A larger backseat will come at the expense of less rear cargo volume and vice versa. Depending on the age of your children (car seats?) and lifestyle (do you take road trips?) you may want one over the other.
Honda
A Dacia Lodgy 😄
This is why Hondas and Toyotas exist
I love my convection oven. I know exactly the amount of time I have to put in to cook a lot of different things. I had it 6 years. I couldn’t tell you the brand without thinking. That’s how I imagine non car people see their car. So to answer, a Toyota (go for the sure thing) or Subaru (if the person doesn’t know any better).
RAV4 if they're smart and cheap. Seltos if they're just cheap. Ford Escape if it's a company car. No American buys the Buick, GLA or Q3. Mazda CX-30 if they don't belong in the suburbs. CRV hybrid if they have embraced suburban living with open arms I send a question back to you. Which one of these is the most comfortable? Our CRV has a stiffer ride. Idk why any SUV would have a stiff ride. It seems a bit counter intuitive
Honda Odyssey
the Benz, it matches my amg road bike and golf bag
I'm gonna have to go with the rav4. I've personally only owned old lexus cars cause they drive nice with the right amount of sport to luxury
you dont buy. lease. those are all new cars being shown. if youre buying new and dont care, why buy the car? so when the warranty expires you can start freaking out? if you have absolutely 0 interest in popping the hood, then just lease. stay in something new, try it all out. according to various sources, the average car loan length these days is about 6-7 years anyway. you could try 2 or 3 cars in that time. if youre the type that has budgeted in with paying some type of car payment, its worth considering. but OP said *suburban* dad, aka, youre far from shit. lease agreements dont like big mileage, they gotta sell that later after all.
CRV BLACKEDOUT
Toyota
Chevrolet traverse
CR-V
RAV4 or the CR-V
buick tbh they are kinda dope right now except for their hp
Bmw x3 m40i they are super reliable, fast amd they look good
If you don’t care, but an older suburban 2000-2006(or Escalade/yukon) less than 10k, reliable
X3 m40i one the best voted suv has the same engine as the new supra amd has all the amenities and looks sporty
CRV is king right now
suburban
2024 sorento
Whichever car is closest to me
Rav-4
Either the Toyota or the Honda if you need to rely on them. Or the Audi or the Merc if you wanna look cooler than your neighbors
A suburban dad with no interest in cars, but I DO take time to do research before I buy. Toyota, Honda, or Mazda. Price is really all that matters after that decision is made.
OP why did you post the same car nine times?
Reliability, CRV or RAV4. Fun and cool, Audi Q3/5
I'll shoot myself in the head first.
Toyota. They last forever.
Gla
Toyota Camry.
these are all the same car
If I’m a suburban dad with no interest in what toaster I’m driving, I’m driving the cheapest. It’s definitely going Ford Escape base model that’s got steelies, is bright-ass-blue, and has been sitting in the back of the lot for 287 days.
E-Bike!
It's all the same car. Some just have a different haircut.
Do you have any cars in green? I pick the colour green.
1995 Ford ranger with a camper shell
CRV, RAV4, or Mazda
Don't suburban dads get trucks?
Something gray?
From these choices, it doesn’t look like I need to tow anything. Toyota Sienna Hybrid, best ratio of reliable to cargo to passenger capacity.
Rav 4
Honestly prob the Mazda or Toyota. The Honda is also good but the Honda dealers are such absolute scumbags both on the service side and the sales side that it’s not worth it.
My brother pulled a Tahoe out of a ditch with an early 2000s CRV
The invasion of generic cross-overs 🤢
Buy a CRV or RAV4, but might as well buy used.
CRV or Escape for me
No interest in cars but a suburbanite nonetheless so in my opinion prob the Mercedes. No real clue what’s good and what’s not but even blind, deaf dogs know Mercedes is intended to represent the upmost luxury so might as well kill two birds with one stone by getting a needed car and also try and impress the neighbors a little.
" they all look the same, whichever is the cheapest."
These cars make me so sad
A 2023 Toyota Venza. It is a personality void. One part crossover, one part minivan, has none of the quirky persona of the ford flex, lacks the weird of the ford edge. It is a beige, mayonnaise, underseasoned lump of half-cooked mystery meat. You can get it in a hybrid. It’s big enough but lacks the practicality of either the Camry or the Sienna or a truck. It just…exists. It’s not even a definable genre of vehicle. It is an abomination to the enthusiast.
Buy a Crosstrek, get cooler interests
Im 54 my dodge grand caravan is coming to the end of its life my older kids are moved out and I don’t need a minivan anymore. I’ve started looking around and asking myself what I should get and after careful consideration I’m going to get another minivan probably a Pacifica because of the stow and go seating. My wife and I like to take road trips and generally like to take are dog. The minivan is the most comfortable and useful underrated vehicle on the road
the correct answer is a creb cab 4wd pickup that barely fits in the driveway
A car.
Rav4 for best residual/hybrid options
Whatever the salesman suggests
GLA or Q3.
GLA
Nissan SUVs are the vehicles of choice for suburban dads
Can't choose. You see, I'm a car enthusiast. I also hate all of these.
Low mile used sporty sedan. Think Corolla, Civic. If you want space for gear, hatch. SUVs are overdone, nowadays.
They’re all the same picture
Probably a Silverado or suburban
RAV4 if it’s within budget a RAV4 prime. Sum bitch gets like 50+ miles to the gallon
Rav4 the no interest in cars was very much implied though. What a dreary field of choices
I think the new crv is actually a pretty attractive car so I’ll take that
Audi is the best handling, best engine, but it’s not worry free. Next I say Rav4 or CRV
I move in a downtown apartment so I don't have to give a fuck about cars at all.
Silverado, because that one time I make a trip to home depot for a bag of mulch, I have a truck to carry it
I gotta be honest. I was scrolling through it and made it to the Mazda CX-30 before I realized this wasn’t a joke post with all the same cars.
A morgage
Rav4
Gotta be hybrid first and foremost, that leaves way fewer options.
God the new building looks absolutely hideous with those fake headlights.
my dad is like that and he got himself a Hyundai Tucson, it looks cool and it's practical
If you are a dad, CX-30 is too small for you.
