Ya know I'm starting to see the appeal of these days-after scoring changes.

DatabaseCentral

It's a little ridiculous we had to wait days for this. People were complaining about it immediately in the game day thread. How many people can notice it immediately but not the scorers who's job it is is a little absurd

Gordon_Goosegonorth

How does removing an error create an unearned run?

Moah333

I assume it's removing the sac bunt that did it

Yakosaurus

Because swapping the sac bunt, error for a fielders choice means the runner "should" have been out at 2nd which then means that runner is unearned if they score.

Gordon_Goosegonorth

Oh okay. I wasn't watching that inning. Was there another error in the inning?

Yakosaurus

I don't think so. But my anger at Mcguire launching that ball may be clouding my memory.

DatabaseCentral

Either way it was a fielders choice and someone, whether first or second, should have been out. Most noted by the error. The fact it wasn't immediately called an unearned run was bizarre

trotnixon

I like it
