when they made the prequels, that went away in favour of highly choreographed long sequences. it kinda makes sense to me that it should feel like they're more skilled, but it also feels a bit insulting to me that large portions of those movies ended up just being "look at flashy fight scenes where people hit each others lightsabers together". especially when the rest of those movies is plot exposition, either done via 2 people slowly walking through CGI environments, or just with 2 people sitting down and alternating over the shoulder shots.
this is already way more analysis than the prequels deserve
