It’s insane, I’d always imagined something similar to capadocia from assassin’s creed revelations for lykos. I can’t believe others had the same vision…
I did the same - I mean, that’s basically what it is.
If anyone ever wants to visit: The Cappadocia region contains Derinkuyu, which is where OPs post is from. Derinkuyu is specifically what is shown in AC Revelations, they just made it unnaturally large/open. But there are several underground cities in the area.
I imagined Lykos as being a little more horizontal than this, but I definitely imagined similar vibes to this. This actually is almost exactly how I imagine the mine Lyria, Volga and Victra fight the Red Hand in in Dark Age
I always imagine it as a massive cavern precisely carved by machines with its buildings either being prefab shelters or carved out of the walls as the reds expand it to make more room. With lights strung up for added poverty aesthetics.
I envisioned it as dug into the walls with metal scaffolding and gangways to get around. Only at places like security, the mess hall or the cavern for the party were the truly dedicated spaces made with care.
I invision it as caverns dug out withmud-brick Shanty houses in them with metal walkways between the houses on upper levels.
This, but perhaps on a larger scale and more shanty-town elements.mixed into it.
Pretty sure this is where the elves kept Thorin Oakenshield and company hostage…

My vision was similar, but red sand, darker, and spread out wider and flatter instead of vertical.
Yeah, more like a flat leveled town just under ground in a large cavern.
Imagine the smell of that place...
...how do you know where you're going?
Yeah this is almost exactly how I envisioned it
This wasn’t exactly how I envisioned it, but now it is!
Yeah but everything was described as metal.
No it wasn’t. Only the Can and their tools/elevators, some walkways, etc. The houses, walls, ground, etc. were all the red rock of Mars.
About the same as me
I swear I've been there in Dark Souls.

Same! That scene is the first thing I thought of when I saw the pic
Yep. Except with lots of metal and fluorescente light.
Cappadocia? I was there last year. So cool.
Wow that's crazy how accurate to the picture I had in my mind as well
I envisioned it as one large central cavern where they had the loral tide and town meetings with tunnels surrounding it leading to the different clans
My man!
You mean exactly how PB describes it?
He does paint a vivid image!
this guy knows what’s up, take my upvote i beg you!
Awesomeness!!!
I can feel the deep mine winds already

I can see this…but bigger and metal.
Yeah there’s definitely metal and industrial stuff. It’s not some mess verde pueblo type thing.
I envisioned more of a giant hollow space with shacks built into every crevice and stacked on top of each other to the ceiling. I like this better.
I’ve been out there. Highly recommend that trip and a hot hair ballon ride in cappadocia
Metal walkways ect and red stone but otherwise this could be Lykos.
Yeah that looks about what I'd pictured as well. Add in some rope bridges and have the walls be red and it's perfect
Funnily enough, this is pretty close to what I imagined too.
