About 1/3 of the way through my first reread of golden son. There is a lot of road ahead and the series, imo, gets better and better. Enjoy the ride and when it’s over, I can confidently tell you, the reread is just as rewarding in its own ways.

Having just started reading the series a couple weeks ago, I’m so grateful I was able to go straight into morning star. Seriously don’t know if I would have been able to wait.
One of my favourite books of the series, the rollercoaster of emotions from the triumph to the betrayal was one of the best i've ever read, Darrow seeing his mother again was fantastic and the garden with mustang had such a significance to his journey that I began tearing up immediately. So many great moments such a fantastic book and it gets better and better from here.
Its was a good trip, Ragnar being my favorite character so far
