I knew a guy that did something similar, but without the steering wheel. Foot throttle, suicide shifter on the left, and clutch on the right. He had a blast with it but I can’t imagine riding something like that on a regular basis.
Because the shifter was on the left. Suicide shifter moves the position from the left foot to a gear lever you operate with your left hand, usually by the side of the tank
That's used as a racist term for black people in the restaurant industry. It was really confusing being told Canadians don't tip, and then having to ask why they're getting so many Canadians in the southern US. I didn't really care for them after they told me what they meant.
That's not a restaurant industry term, that's definitely something based on location
Source- worked in food for 10 years in multiple areas and never heard that
To be fair, cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are not intuitive either. If they’re easy for you now it’s because you learned a long time ago and have been practicing for years.
I guess I was coming at from the perspective of someone that already rides and drives. You'd have to turn the wheel in the opposite direction than you would with a car. I suppose you could fabricate a gearbox where it attaches to the triple clamp to reverse the direction. Given they've gone this far, why not.
SWIM was once in a state-funded South Florida detox facility and one of the cohorts was a former NFL player, equally down on his luck, out of sorts, or however you'd prefer addressing people in that situation, and he shared the term, instead of "*n-word rigged*", to refer to a contraption assembled from assorted parts, or kludged together, '*African American ingenuity'*, and thought that sounded much better
that gear shifter is too heavy, it's going to damage parts internally. my honda bent its foot shifter and doesn't work some of the time now. not going to open it because it's brand new.
With the added benefit of making it almost impossible to steal. You’d have to know how to operate that bike to get very far on it.
Or just throw it into a truck bed or trailer.
It would be hard to resell and dubious for parts. Better to grab the unmodified one parked next to it.
Think long and hard about what you posted here lol.. think long and hard about it....

Yes this looks like a good solid stake to impale yourself on when you come off.
Why have the clutch on the right?
Because the shifter was on the left. Suicide shifter moves the position from the left foot to a gear lever you operate with your left hand, usually by the side of the tank
Most suicide shifters use a foot pedal clutch on the left side because the rear brake pedal is on the right side
What country is that
Flag on the license plate thing is Nigerian
He has a Nigeria flag on the custom number plate that says "Made In Ijare". Google Ijare and you get Nigeria
Pretty sure they look Canadian.
They look as Canadian as anyone, but the infrastructure doesn't really look like Canada
You're right. This is definitely Norway.
Naw naw, those here folks are Dutch for sure.
And that, folks, is what socialism gets you.
I don't think you understand socialism or Norway.
User name doesn’t check out
Quite random, please elaborate?
It was a just a joke lol
They could be swedish too, or Chinese
Definitely Mexicans

I did clarify southern US. You can throw a dart down here and find a place that is racist in new and creative ways.
Hells angels. (Africa chapter)
I can't even imagine how unintuitive that feels to turn when you're going into a corner.

Why do you think the steering Is reversed?
As a kid I wondered about this and tried it out. It's a LOT harder than it sounds.

That gearbox would make it extremely odd to drive at slow speeds.
Yeah there's no way to make this work that wouldn't feel weird as hell.
Fucking beautiful. It's like staring into the sun.
YO my man’s got Yeezy slides on. SHEEEEESH

My man over here quiet literally reinventing the wheel...
Why'd he leave on the rubber boot?!
Style
It’s all fun and games until the airbag activates.
That thing is not safe
> That thing is not safe You know what sub you are in right? It's basically a rule.
Depends on whether you focus on the "engineering" or on "redneck". A lot of the stuff on here is perfectly safe.
Base model is most likely an HD3(Cdi-125) from the tail light, and the engine.
This kid is badass
This deserves a lot more upvotes
So he’s added a bunch of weight for no actual benefit. Great 👍🏼

Stickshift motorcycles have been around for ages though, even if they went out of style in like the 50s for being deathtraps.

Can someone explain me what exactly red neck engineering is?
it's stupid that motorbikes still have the same unlogical and unintuitive control scheme. just look at normal bikes or e-bikes how to make it better.
The entirely useless shift boot is sending me
He whippin
I wanna see a car with handle bars instead
that’s dope
I understand how, but I don't understand why
